The body of missing Virginia college student Hannah Graham has been discovered and identified, according to breaking news reports. She was only 18. Hannah Graham Search: Human Remains Found A landscaper was heading to a job site outside of Charlottesville, Va., actually called the police tip line September 30 when he made a startling discovery. “There was buzzards on the rooftop, as well as on a tree on the back left corner of the property,” Bobby Pugh said. “Not a normal amount, 20 to 30 at least.” About an hour later, Pugh made a phone call, as did hundreds if not thousands of others calling in with any shred of intel that could help law enforcement. Hannah Graham was last seen September 13, on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. Jesse Matthew Jr. has been charged with the college student’s abduction. Nearly three weeks after Pugh’s call, volunteers from Chesterfield searching for Graham discovered human remains near an abandoned property. The site was right around where the landscaper had spotted the birds . “I wish it could have happened faster, but it couldn’t,” lamented Pugh. “They were getting 200-300 tips a day, my tip couldn’t be the one on the top.” Regardless, Pugh is heartbroken by what happened to Graham. “That’s not the way anyone should be left,” Pugh said. The state medical examiner’s office in Richmond conducted forensic tests on the remains to identify them, and reportedly did so just moments ago. Matthew is being held on charges of abducting her with the intent to defile, and was charged Monday with attempted murder, abduction and sexual assault in a 2005 case.
John Grisham chose a somewhat odd cause to get behind this week. In an interview with The Telegraph, the best-selling author brought up the topic of child pornography purveyors and said the following: “We have prisons now filled with guys my age… who’ve never harmed anybody, would never touch a child, but they got online one night, started surfing around, probably had too much to drink or whatever, pushed the wrong buttons, went too far, and got into child porn.” Rosie O’Donnell Slams John Grisham Amidst an understandable uproar once the remarks went viral, Grisham then issued an apology and an explanation. “Anyone who harms a child for profit or pleasure, or who in any way participates in child pornography – online or otherwise – should be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” Grisham said. He continued: “My comments made two days ago during an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph were in no way intended to show sympathy for those convicted of sex crimes, especially the sexual molestation of children. I can think of nothing more despicable. I regret having made these comments, and apologize to all.” But Rosie O’Donnell wasn’t satisfied with this mea culpa during the opening segment of The View today. “I accept your apology but I don’t believe in your [expletive] bull crap thing that you said before,” O’Donnell said. “Nobody accidentally stumbles onto child pornography.” O’Donnell then alleged that Grisham must only know what he’s talking about from experience. “If I were the police, I’d look at John Grisham‘s hard drive right now,” she said. Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the NFL and Adrian Peterson, a new scandal has gone public today, as the Minnesota Star-Tribune is reporting that Peterson used funds from his Peterson’s All Day charity to purchase alcohol and rent a hotel room for an all-night orgy that erupted in violence. The alleged incident took place in 2011, when Peterson, two of his relatives, and four unidentified women checked into a room at the Eden Prairie Hotel. One woman at the party became upset when she saw Peterson having sex with another woman. A loud altercation ensued, during which Peterson reminded the woman that she should not get “emotionally attached” to him as he was engaged to someone else. Police responded to a noise complaint shortly thereafter. The party was broken up and no charges were filed, but one of the attendees informed police that Peterson had paid for the evening using a credit card attached to the Peterson’s All Day bank account. Peterson was indicted for child abuse last month after it was revealed that he had disciplined his 4-year-old son by beating the child with a switch. Shortly thereafter, Peterson was accused of beating a second child and admitting to the incident in a text message sent to the child’s mother. The Peterson’s All Day charity was founded with the intent of providing essential services to at-risk children, particularly young girls. The Minnesota Vikings star running back remains on suspension from all team activities as he awaits trial. Student Gives Kush-Laced Candy To Classmates At School Apparently, high school kids are now handing out laced candy to other students at school…. via Huffington Post A police chief in Connecticut says a girl handed out marijuana-laced lollipops to classmates at her high school, and one student was hospitalized. Enfield Police Chief Carl Sferrazza tells the Journal Inquirer ( http://bit.ly/1v89Fo9 ) that the Enfield High student acknowledged sharing the tainted lollipops, which were laced with THC, an active ingredient in marijuana. She said she received the candy in the mail from California. The police chief says a 16-year-old girl was hospitalized overnight Monday after consuming one of the lollipops. But he says the student who brought the tainted lollipops to school denied giving any to her. Because the student is being charged is a juvenile, she will not be arrested. Sferrazza says she’ll instead be referred to juvenile court. SMH.

Ferguson Police Officers Show Solidarity With Darren Wilson With tensions rising once again in Ferguson since the defacement of Mike Brown’s memorial , protests got more lively once again yesterday evening — with reports of break-ins and looting hitting the media. As police officers used their force to reign in the crowds, some were seen wearing bracelets emblazoned with the phrase “I Am Darren Wilson,” showing their support for the officer who gunned down Mike Brown . The bracelets were spotted and photographed by protesters and originally posted to MediaBlackOutUSA . And as for twitter speculation that the photo in question was doctored in some way, Captain Ron Johnson confirmed that police were indeed wearing these bands on their arms in THIS VIDEO . However he thinks it was the decision of a few individuals, and not precinct-wide. At least we know where these cops’ heads are at while they’re out there “maintaining peace” in the Ferguson streets.
A Chris Brown performance last night ended in someone getting stabbed, and if we ask for a show of hands asking who’s surprised … we don’t expect to see a lot of hands. Law enforcement sources say it’s yet another case of trouble following the R&B singer and his entourage, and that police have been trying to stop this (to no avail). The stabbing took place right after Brown finished his set at a YMCMB Drake-Lil Wayne after-party at Supperclub in Hollywood, according to witnesses and reports. Several people leaving got into a fight and someone got stabbed. The victim, whose identity is not known, was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay. Move them stamps ! Ohio Man Arrested For Selling Food Stamps On Facebook A man trying to sell his girlfriend’s food stamp card on Facebook now faces a felony charge. Via Journal News reports: Police said Derron Chamberlain posted on the social media site that he was selling his girlfriend’s food stamp card for $100. He also included his phone number for potential buyers to contact him, police said. “He did put his real information while he was doing this illegal act for everybody to see,” said Middletown Police Lt. Scott Reeve. Chamberlain, 35, of Plymouth Avenue, was excited, police said, when officers from the police department’s Special Operations Unit contacted him acting as potential buyers. “He kept calling back to the detectives to a point where they thought it was humorous how much he was calling back trying to make a deal happen,” Reeve said. About six hours after detectives called Chamberlain, they met him at Goldman Park, 1400 Highland St. Police said Chamberlain did not resist arrest and is charged with trafficking food stamps, a fifth-degree felony. “He didn’t realize he had done anything wrong,” Reeve said. “Even when they brought him into the police department and talked to him he was still surprised to find out it was illegal for him to sell his girlfriend’s food stamp card.” About $6.6 million is distributed monthly in Butler County via the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as food stamps. While benefits fraud is not a new crime, the lingering dismal economy and drug abuse, particularly heroin, has turned it into an epidemic, Butler County Sheriff Richard K. The operation, manned by two Butler County sheriff’s detectives with help of state and federal agencies including the Secret Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, netted 116 violators between July 2012 and June 2013 and 100 from July to December 2013. The movement is still going… Ferguson Protesters Threaten Rams Game Via DailyMail : The search for justice in Ferguson has spilled onto the football field as protesters say they plan to get into Edward Jones Dome and stop this weekend’s St. Louis Rams game. The threat was first revealed at a St. Louis County Council meeting Tuesday night. ‘It’s not going to be a fun day Sunday at your beautiful Rams game,’ one protester reportedly shouted. KMOX reports that St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson is doing whatever he can to stop those threats from becoming a reality. ‘We are having extra resources in the downtown area for this weekend to address any eventuality,’ he said. He said that if a peaceful demonstration was held he would not interfere, but if they go beyond that the police will shut them down. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that protestors at the meeting grew increasingly loud and angry, demanding that officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, be arrested and that County Prosecutor Robert McCullock be taken off the case, as well as calling for the resignations of both County Police Chief Jon Belmar and Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson. Some speakers compared county officials to ‘war criminals’ or KKK members. ‘You are ISIS to black people,’ one said. Besides threatening this weekend’s game, protestors said they would disrupt grocery stores as well as hold an even bigger demonstration should the Cardinals make it to this year’s World Series. A video posted on YouTube titled ‘St. Louis Rams: No Justice, No Football,’ is even asking for donated tickets so more demonstrators can get into the game. ‘So all of those St. Louis Rams fans who love justice, I will ask you to contact me and to donate your St. Louis Rams tickets so protestors can get in the dome,’ says activist Umar Lee in the video. Hmmm….do you think this is a good plan? The police force and government officials in St. Louis are so smug about this situation…we wonder what it would truly take for them to concede to charging Mike Brown’s killer.
