Jamie Campbell Bower ‘Kind Of Scared’ Of ‘Harry Potter’ Exhibit

‘Camelot’ star says being part of New York’s ‘Harry Potter: The Exhibition’ is ‘a bit weird.’ By Jocelyn Vena Jamie Campbell Bower Photo: MTV News In New York City, fans can check out “Harry Potter: The Exhibition” at the Discovery Times Square building. But, don’t expect “Potter” star Jamie Campbell Bower to stop by anytime soon: He said the whole thing is a bit weird for him. “Unfortunately, I can’t see it,” he explained to MTV News when he stopped by to talk about his new Starz series, “Camelot.” On his way out of town post-interview, he shared another reason why he wasn’t likely to ever check the exhibit: “I’m kind of scared of those kinds of things.” Bower explained that there’s something a bit jarring about having a museum-type exhibit dedicated to a piece of work you’ve done. It also means that in the hearts and minds of “Potter” fans, he’ll never age past 20. “It’s a bit weird. When you do a film or whatever, you’re immortalized, I suppose, but in the job that you’re doing,” he said. “And if you take that away and put it in a different [world] — for example, that [exhibit] or the Wizarding World that they have in Orlando (Florida) — it’s scary. We’ll be young forever.” With the franchise coming to an end with “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” this July, Bower admitted that it’s a bit bittersweet saying goodbye. “I was only on set for a very short period of time, and I only play a very small role in the film,” he explained. “I suppose, just for me personally, being able to be involved in something that is taking place in England for 10 years and something that has given people jobs and a great boost to the British film industry, that was a real honor.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Harry Potter” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .

‘Harry Potter’ Finale Shot Four Different Endings For Malfoy Family

‘With Narcissa, we actually filmed four different endings and I filmed three different battles,’ actress Helen McCrory tells us. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Helen McCrory Photo: Joe Kohen/ WireImage Take it from actress Bonnie Wright: The ending of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2″ is, as she bluntly put it during our live-stream event on Monday, ” really weird .” What else would you expect from a flash-forward finale that has the Hogwarts kids caked in prosthetics to make them look as if they’re approaching their 40s? But it seems that Wright and her co-stars are not the only ones who had an odd experience shooting their final scenes in the blockbuster franchise. According to Helen McCrory, the actors who play the Malfoy family also were up to some surprising stuff. “It’s quite strange, because we haven’t seen the last film,” said McCrory, who plays Narcissa Malfoy, mother of Draco (Tom Felton). “For instance, with Narcissa, we actually filmed four different endings and I filmed three different battles.” In the final book, Narcissa lies about the death of Harry Potter in an effort to locate her son, a fib that results in the Malfoy family avoiding imprisonment after Voldemort’s death. That much we know. What we don’t know is how exactly these various endings and battles will play out and bring the Malfoys’ story to a conclusion onscreen. Not even McCrory herself is sure, nor was she keen to spill the beans on the red carpet with months still to go before the film’s July release date. “I don’t know which ones the three Davids are going to pick,” she said, referring to director David Yates and producers David Heyman and David Baron. “We haven’t final full stop onto that.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘Harry Potter’ Epilogue Was ‘Really Weird,’ Bonnie Wright Says

‘Being a mother with three children suddenly when you’re young is quite a big [change],’ she tells MTV News at DVD premiere. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Bonnie Wright attends the opening of Harry Potter: The Exhibiton in New York City Photo: Getty Images For the most devoted “Harry Potter” fans out there, the countdown has already begun in anticipation of the final film release, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” Over the weekend, we got a sneak peek at Harry Potter: The Exhibition , as well as a few exclusive clips from the “Deathly Hallows, Part 1” DVD/Blu-ray. At the DVD premiere, we asked actress Bonnie Wright about the experience filming the franchise’s highly anticipated “epilogue” sequence , in which all the characters appear as themselves, only 19 years in the future. “It was really weird,” Wright said of seeing herself in makeup made to look like a woman in her 30s. “People said, ‘Don’t worry, you look good for 35!’ ” Wright said the experience was a lot of fun, mostly because she had to embody a completely new aspect of her character, Ginny Weasley-Potter. “Being a mother with three children suddenly when you’re young is quite a big [change],” she said. “It’s strange, because obviously [when] I started, my first scene ever filmed was on the train platform 9 3/4, and then we came back to shoot some more before Christmas, and it was back at platform 9 3/4, so I finished, and it was like this amazing cycle.” Regarding the scenes she’s most looking forward to seeing in the final film, Wright said she’s pumped to see the final battle. “I think I’m mainly looking forward to the epic battle that is to come,” she said. “See[ing] the power of good triumph over evil is going to be satisfying.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Britney Spears To Release Two ‘Till The World Ends’ Videos

A director’s cut and a choreography cut of the video will both be released. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: MTV News & Docs Who needs one “Till the World Ends” video when you can have two? Well, it seems that Britney Spears’ fans will get just that. JustJared.com reports that the singer will release two videos for her second single from Femme Fatale. According to the site, “The director’s cut will have more of an apocalyptic story line while the choreography cut will have the unabridged version of Britney’s dance moves.” The video was directed by Ray Kay and shot in Los Angeles last month. The video features Spears in sexy, body-hugging clothes getting sweaty with her dancers. “The set was a little much. It was grimy and gross and it felt like there was poop everywhere when there wasn’t,” she recalled in Sunday’s MTV special “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale.” “It was sweat and it was disgusting sometimes … [I] tough it out,” she laughed. In the video sneak peek featured in the special, Spears opted to change out of her sexy heels to dance in more practical Uggs. “It hurts … but it looks good,” she explained. “It wasn’t a full-length shot, so a girl’s about comfort when it’s not showing.” She later added, “It was a lot of fun. I had never worked with Ray Kay before. I was really happy with the work we did.” Spears’ “Till The World Ends” songwriter, Ke$ha , opened up to People.com about how she’d like to hang out with the pop star now that they’ve worked on a hit pop song together. “Skinny dipping. It would be a dress-up-like-Ke$ha-or-Britney party. Either her place or my place, it doesn’t matter,” the “Blow” singer said, describing their perfect hang-out. “I have a small, salt-water pool [at my house in Nashville] that has laser beams in it and a stereo so you can be underwater listening to music.” Are you excited for two “Till the World Ends” videos?
