Mike Tyson Remembers The Last Time He Saw Tupac It’s been 22 years since Tupac passed, but so many years later, Mike Tyson still finds the situation difficult to talk about. On Wednesday, the former heavyweight champ sat down with Big Boy at Power 106 to talk about his new comedy show, mental health, and even his late friend Tupac. The conversation quickly turned somber when ‘Pac’s death was brought up, and even ended up bringing Iron Mike to tears. Hear Mike’s words on Tupac, mental health, and more below.

Source: FOX / Getty Tonight’s episode of Empire starts off on a high note. Andre is out of jail! But it all starts going downhill again after that. Kingsley is back visiting Diana in prison in the name of revenge. Diana ain’t no fool, so she calls Kingsley out over the fact that he’s only doing this because his ego is bruised. He already has Empire, which puts him on top, but he’s obviously mad that Lucious embarrassed him so he wants to get even. She’s down to tell him Lucious’ Achilles Heel, but he needs to do a favor for her first. There’s a moisturizing cream she’s been dying to get her hands on and…you get where this is going right? Times is hard in the bing. The Lyon Clan is back to business as usual. Now that Andre is back around he wants to get involved with some of Lucious’ more illegal activities, like collecting debts from various people, street style. Lucious refuses to allow Dre to accompany him because he’s determined to keep all Lyons, especially Dre, out of prison from now on. But Dre is hardheaded and has his own plans. He wants to be a gangsta. No, he is going to be a gangsta like his pops. Lordt. He has been institutionalized. Cookie and Porsha find a talented singer named Devon (played by Mario), but unfortunately, Empire found him too. Becky got to him first. Cookie tells him not to sign with Empire until he sees what she can do for him first and he gives her his word. Empire pulls out all the stops and gives him the royal treatment, of course, but he’s not feeling that they want to turn him into a sex symbol with money, cars, and hoes. Kingsley literally said that. So, he decides to see what Cookie has to offer after all and actually likes the Lyon Clan better. However, he wants to run things by his sister first before signing the contract. Later on, Cookie goes to Devon’s house to find him and to get their business squared away, but she finds his sister instead. Said sister is severely disabled and mentions that it’s just she and Devon since their parents died. She also mentions that Devon works a lot of jobs to support them since she can’t work and that she feels awful about it. It also comes out that Devon wants to sign with Empire but Cookie gets so disturbed by this that she dashes out and decides not to leave the contract. Later on, Cookie tells Becky to sign Devon because she and Lucious can’t give him what he needs (money) right now. She just asks that Becky gets Devon’s contract signed asap and that she sees to it that Empire takes care of him. But guess what? Devon returns to Cookie and says he and his sister felt more comfortable signing with them. Lucious is so appreciative that he gives him a couple of racks on the spot. Look at Lucious doing something good with that blood money. Earlier in the episode, we learned that Kai, Jamal’s boyfriend, went missing in Nigeria. As the episode winds down we find ourselves here. This is the part when Lucious and Cookie inform Jamal that authorities found Kai’s wallet and cell phone on the side of the road. It’s past 48 hours since Kai went missing, which obviously isn’t good. Jamal breaks down crying and Cookie comforts him but there’s nothing else they can do at the moment. Giselle learns from a private investigator that Kingsley has been visiting Diana in jail. Giselle is trying to take Kingsley’s spot at Empire and keep the Lyon Family in check as we know. So, she steps to Diana, who already knows why she’s there, and Diana is with the games. Diana says, “It’s time for them to know what it feels like to put one of your own in the ground.” Then we cut five months later and we see Lucious stumbling around with a blood stain on his side. It looks like he may have been shot and if that’s not his blood, it’s a lot of blood either way. Image via Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images Trump Flakes $1 Million Pledge To Elizabeth Warren Over Native American Heritage Donald Trump be lyin’ about everything everything. Today the President is trying to dodge the $1 million dollars he now owes to Senator Elizabeth Warren after she took a DNA test that proves her Native American heritage. According to CNN , Warren took to Twitter provide proof that she did indeed take a DNA test and it concluded that there are Native American genes coursing through her veins. My family (including Fox News-watchers) sat together and talked about what they think of @realDonaldTrump ’s attacks on our heritage. And yes, a famous geneticist analyzed my DNA and concluded that it contains Native American ancestry. pic.twitter.com/r3SNzP22f8 — Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 15, 2018 I never expected my family’s story to be used as a racist political joke, but I don’t take any fight lying down. I want you to have the power to fight lies with the truth, so here's a new site for you to review every document for yourself. https://t.co/900SsAMNjb — Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 15, 2018 When asked about the owed dough, here’s what Donny had to say: “Who cares?” Trump said when asked about the DNA test. When pressed on the once-promised $1 million payment, Trump responded: “I didn’t say that. You better read it again.” But you know Donny be lying about everything everything, so here are the receipts. Having some memory problems, @realDonaldTrump ? Should we call for a doctor? Here’s something you won’t “forget,” Mr. President: You’re the least popular president in modern history & your allies will go down hard in the midterm elections. 22 days. Tick-tock, tick-tock. pic.twitter.com/53FV0HXGXX — Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 15, 2018 Bloop. Obviously neither Warren nor a charity of her choice will ever see a dime of that milli, but we expect nothing less from 53% of white women’s president.

Agency: Self Represented Instagram: @ gabriellabernard_ Claim to Fame: The beauty was a contestant in what might be considered the most controversial season ever of Caribbean’s Next Top Model . When Gabriella Bernard started connecting with professional photographers and catching the eye of reality show casting judges she thought all of her childhood dreams were coming true. In an exclusive interview with HelloBeautiful she opened up about what was on the other side of her childhood ambitions. “From a really young age I always wanted to be a model, ” said Bernard. Her aspirations were inspired by an aunt who saw her as a shoo-in. “She said you know you’re so slim and you have long legs and you’re gorgeous , you should be a model.” A toddler at the time Bernard asked, “What’s a model?” It wasn’t until she was watching Wendy Fitzwilliam be crowned Miss Universe that the power of representation would allow her to see herself as someone could take control of the spotlight. “Seeing Wendy Fitzwilliam win Miss Universe as a black woman , as a Black Trinidadian woman it made me believe in myself, that I could get up on a big stage and become a successful model,” she said. More than a decade later after convincing her mother that she could balance her university studies and follow her passion Bernard was fully ready to embrace her fate. However, she was disappointed to find that the experiences she was subjected to weren’t as empowering as the life she had envisioned for herself. Instead of a space where she could exercise her creativity and challenge herself she found the Caribbean modeling world to be a series of unbalanced power dynamics where people unlearned common courtesy as soon as they crossed the threshold of success. Discomfort and disillusionment were practically job requirements and as someone who was determined to speak up for herself Bernard was unqualified. “Sometimes people know that they’re doing the wrong thing and because you are speaking up against it and you are speaking up for yourself they will tell you that you’re being unprofessional you can’t be in this industry if you want to be like that. To me in Trinidad it’s like a power move that they do, that because ‘I’m such and such you need to do what I say’,” she said. Throughout the #MeToo movement women have claimed the label ‘unprofessional’ was lobbied as a threat by offenders. “That happens with photographers and designers ,” She continued. During a shoot with a photographer who touched her inappropriately she was told that she was “ruining” the shoot by shielding herself from his touches and speaking about feeling uncomfortable. “I got my makeup done for two hours and then he put a welders mask on my face and the first thing I said was ‘Why are you putting a welders mask on my face? I just spent two hours doing my makeup, like that doesn’t make any sense.” While this choice seemed strange she remained cooperative even when the photographer refused to acknowledge her questions. Moments later she had to speak up to protect herself. “I was in a bikini and a welders mask and I’m posing and then all of a sudden I feel his hands on my breasts and I jumped and I took off the mask and I’m like ‘What are you doing?’ he’s like ‘No, no you ruined the pose!’ I was like “No, but you’re touching my breast and he was like ‘Yeah but that’s because I’m fixing your top it had a crinkle’ and I was like, ‘Are you crazy?!” She credits her mother with making sure that she had a firm foundation before being placed in such a trying situation. When she wanted to start modeling at 12 her mother pleaded with her to wait out of concern for her personal safety. “She really shielded me from the industry and being in it for some time. I see why because there are perverts and had I been younger I don’t know that I would have been able to handle myself accordingly because these men use some very underhanded tricks to try and get you to sleep with them.” She understands why people don’t report such incidents but she has hope that increased transparency will lead to more women coming forward. “I think that the more that we stand up and speak up about it the more support that other people have because the fear is always ‘I don’t wanna come out and then people don’t believe me’ or ‘I don’t wanna come out and then people bash me’.” She thinks that “by all of us having a voice every single voice adds to our strength.” She was able to stand firm with predatory practices from independent entities but unfortunately, she didn’t feel as empowered on the set of Caribbean’s Next Top Model where Fitzwilliam the woman she had once idolized was now one of many people passing judgment on far more than her appearance. Constantly aware that she was there to be evaluated, and that every interaction on camera and off was apart of the competition, she was forced to try and be agreeable even when she felt like some things happening during filming were unjust. “I did experience colorism and a hint of prejudice and discrimination behind the scenes,” she said. “The first time I spoke up about it we had a whole two hour conversation about it, it was back and forth and I ended up having to apologize to the person because I saw that it wasn’t going anywhere again I was the one in the competition not them,” she continued. In a clip from the show that went viral viewers can see her losing the composure she worked so hard to develop and sobbing when being told that she had to relax her natural hair to remain in the competition. She was then even more shocked with Fitzwilliam berated her for crying because it was unprofessional even though she eventually gave in and taped a scene where she pretended to be happy so that the judges wouldn’t be upset. The producers showed her crying in contrast to other contestants crying about their boyfriends to equate the two things in viewers eyes infuriating Bernard. “I feel like the motive of the entire episode was to humiliate me on reality television.” The identity that producers and judges wanted to challenge by straightening Bernard’s hair was difficult for her to build up after years of denying herself to try and “fit in”. “I told them how important my hair was to me not just for cosmetic reasons but it was self-love reasons too because growing up I had predominantly white friends and I wanted to look white. I wanted to fit in so I would use high flash on my camera and all sorts of weird things just to not have my features . It’s crazy I would put ice on my lips to try and get them smaller just small crazy things that I look back at now and I’m like ugh.” Despite giving in on set she isn’t letting the experience defeat her. In fact she went home inspired to get involved in production and contribute to change in the media landscape. She developing a short film called “ Black Hair ” to encourage others to have their say and not be intimidated by outside voices even if they are in a position of power. She says, “Aside from all that drama because I’m not even trying to focus on that I just want people to know that they shouldn’t be afraid to be who they want to be however that looks. They should be comfortable in their skin if they want to have a weave, they can have a weave, if they want to have their hair natural, they should have their hair natural. You should do whatever you want to do with your body and be comfortable in your skin and live out of fear of being discriminated against and I think that that’s something that we should all work towards.” DON’T MISS: MODEL MONDAY: Lashira Moné Looks Past The Struggle MODEL MONDAY: Iesha Hodges Is A New Kind Of Blonde Bombshell MODEL MONDAY: We Can’t Get Enough Of Yvette Corinne’s Cool California

Building a better community is no easy task, and Rick learned the hard way on Sunday’s episode that he was not going to be able to blend these communities in the way he hoped. The episode was all about the revival of the bridge which was obliterated thanks to a storm. Without access, it was difficult to make supply runs, so it had to be fixed. While Aaron and Daryl were chatting as the communities rallied to fix the bridge, a fight broke out between Henry and a Savior named Justin. Henry was tasked with giving water in exchange for hard labor, and Justin did not want to play by the rules. But Henry proved that there would always be a punishment, so he knocked the man off his feet with a stick. As expected, it resulted in a full-on battle between everyone on the bridge. Rick arrived and was unimpressed that these people could not work together to secure the future of the blended community. Daryl continued to have doubts and told Rick that the Saviors would actually be an asset to them down the line if they’re already causing trouble. Daryl left the scene immediately when Rick defended why they were doing it, and it was down to Carol to let Rick know that he might be dreaming if he thinks any of this is going to work. Tensions were still high at the Hilltop following Gregory’s well-deserved execution. Tami Rose was not allowed to see her husband Earl for his involvement in the plot to kill Maggie. It didn’t stop Tami from trying to get more people on her side to turn against Maggie. The true shocker was that Jesus was not fully on board with Maggie. “I don’t know if she hanged Gregory for everyone, for herself or both,” he shared, “but I’m not against a grieving mother seeing her husband.” Instead of fully turning against his friend, Jesus went to Maggie to find out where her head was truly at. He admitted that she was going way too far by ostracizing Earl and that there would be some pushback. These decisions were ballsy, according to him. This gave Maggie some food for thought, and she agreed to let Tami Rose visit her husband. Once his wife was gone, Earl got a visit from Maggie who wanted to know more about him. Earl was desperate to know why Gregory was the one who was killed, but Maggie skirted around giving an answer. It turns out; she wants to hold her cards close to her chest. “What I did to you was in me,” Earl confessed. “Gregory didn’t make me do anything.” Okay then. Things took a wild turn when thanks to a siren not being sounded, the walkers showed up at the bridge, and the unarmed Saviors were sitting ducks. Jed was scared to death, and let go of the rope he was holding … allowing all of the lumber to crash down and trap Aaron’s arm. Rick managed to dispatch of most of the walkers, but there was no saving Aaron’s arm. Daryl tried to make sense of what went down and opted to blame Justin. He was supposed to sound a siren to send the walkers away, but he didn’t. His defense? The walkie-talkie was dead, and Daryl was not buying it. He went all in kept hitting the kid before Carol showed up to tell him to quit the BS. Back at the Hilltop, Maggie and Michonne got into it over the recent decisions. “We can talk about common laws, but I’m not giving up the right to do what I think is s best for my people,” Maggie said to her friend. They continued to bicker, and Maggie relented that she did not regret wiping Gregory out because he was a danger to everyone. Meanwhile, Justin continued to prove he was a loser when he lashed out at Rick, trying to throw all the blame on him for what went down. “Stitches won’t fix what I do to you,” Rick yelled after telling him to get the eff out of the Sanctuary. As for Aaron? He did not blame Rick for losing an arm. Instead, he said that his friend was a beacon of hope. “You changed all that, Rick. It’s not the end of the world anymore; it’s the start a whole new one,” he said. Rick closed off the hour by visiting his nemesis, Negan. “It was a hard day,” Rick said. “People were at each other’s throats… [But] when the day was done, they came together. Not all of ’em. But enough.” “That’s a real pretty picture you paint there,” Negan responded. “When do I get to see it?” “You’re gonna die behind these bars,” Rick snapped. In all honesty, if the likes of Jesus is worried about Maggie, then there’s a good chance she’s going to be relieved of her duties before long. That could lead to her running off with her child or worse; she could be killed off. This is The Walking Dead! What are your thoughts on the episode? Hit the comments below. Image via Oliver Contreras – Pool/Getty Images “Saturday Night Live” Spoofs Kanye’s White House Trump Meeting “Saturday Night Live” took a moment to call out Kanye for his wacky White House meeting this week. The sketch comedy show once again had Alec Baldwin play Trump while Chris Redd played an exceptionally kooky Kanye. A C-Span introduction noted that the two discussed prison reform, education, alternate universes and flying cars before “Trump” introduced Kanye and downed rumors that this was a publicity stunt. Baldwin: “Thank you all for joining us today for this important discussion. It’s in no way a publicity stunt. This is a serious, private conversation between three friends, plus 50 reporters with cameras.” Redd: “Yeah, that’s right. I flew here using the power of this hat.” Baldwin: “And Kanye, I want to thank you for giving me a pair of your sneakers. They’re perfect for me because they’re white, they’re wide, and they’re never going to be worth as much as you say they are. I’m sure that Kanye wants to make one or two brief, lucid remarks. Redd: “First, let me begin with the idea that time is a myth, infinite amounts universe, and I’m a prisoner in a different dimension. Have I lost anyone so far?” Lie and say they didn’t get it DEAD ON. We’re sure Cheeto and his “son” have seen this by now and they’re probably pissed. See more from last night’s SNL on the flip.

Source: NurPhoto / Getty Tis’ the season to hit up your alma mater and turn up with your peers like you’re in undergrad all over again. Homecoming is one of the few times in your adult life where you get to experience the nostalgia of being a college student again — minus the classes and homework. The best part about homecoming, besides partying with old friends, is the halftime show at the football game. Sure, most guys come to see their take home the W, but men and women alike come to see the dance squads do their thing. Especially when it comes to HBCU’s. The Majorette’s dance segment is like a party in itself. STINGETTES! STINGETTES! STINGETTES! These girls are not playing at the Magic City Classic this year! Slaying and giving us all type of BGM pic.twitter.com/v8RV3aE0oa — HBCU SpotlightTV (@HBCUSpotlightTV) October 28, 2017 The performances are so powerful and essential to the culture that even Beyoncé was inspired by whole experience so much so that she based her entire Coachella, post-babies, comeback performance on it. Her J-Setting, prancing and stepping was all the way on point. One fan tweeted , “ @Beyonce gave us a HBCU homecoming performance, just so y’all know. I mean the whole homecoming. Step show. Band. Dance. Concert. I’m telling you. You better do your research and then enroll! You won’t regret it.” And unlike some stars who steal from the lesser known without any form of compensation, Bey gave away 100,000 worth of scholarships to HBCU students . Some fans even joked that the Queen Bey didn’t get to live out her dream of being the HBCU dance team captain because she had to be Beyoncé. Whether that’s facts or not, we don’t know —but what we do know is that the power of the HBCU band dancers is not to be underestimated. From the outfits, to the music selections to the flawless routines, band majorettes are and integral part of not only the Black college experience, but Black culture as a whole. In honor of Homecoming season, check out these five HBCU dance teams that get the crowd so lit, every game feels like Homecoming. Did your school make the cut?

Donald Trump is scheduled to have lunch with Kanye West today (Oct. 11), and many critics of the move dismiss it as a blatant photo op for a President who really doesn’t care what his guest will have to say. Well actually, the Russian approved POTUS did say meeting with Yeezy will help him score African-American male votes. Yeah, he said it. La Naranja called into Fox & Friends last night, and since we couldn’t be bothered to listen to the sure to be fact checked lies, we’ll let TMZ report: Trump was on “Fox & Friends” Thursday AM and gushed about his African-American poll numbers, especially with guys, after Kanye doubled down on his support for the Prez. He repeated his claim that his poll numbers with African-American men soared when Kanye told the world — MAGA. The President marveled at the power of Kanye West. It’s pretty ironic … the 2 celebs who have really stood out in terms of trying to influence voters in various ways are Kanye and Taylor Swift. They’re on opposite sides of the spectrum, but they both appear impactful. Here’s the thing. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out … a lunch with Kanye when the critical midterm elections are just a few weeks away may be more important to Trump than prison reform. That doesn’t mean Kanye has no shot at getting in his ear about prison reform and other issues, but get real … the main course of this lunch is the midterms. Also worth noting, that polling bump Trump refers to was barely negligible when taken in proper context. Although there are way too many shuffle foot Black men (and women) rocking with Trump for our tastes, the majority of the demo ain’t falling for the racist and sexist antics of the con man squatting in the White House. Too bad Kanye West is looking like he’ll be one of the last people to spot the jig. Listen to Cheeto’s commentary below. — Photo: WENN.com
