Black San Jose Student Files $5 Million Lawsuit Following Abuse By Racist Roommates An African-American San Jose University student who suffered abuse at the hands of his white roommates towards the end of last year is about to have the last laugh all the way to the bank. via Mercury News The victim in a racially charged bullying case at San Jose State has filed a claim seeking $5 million from the university, alleging that a dormitory adviser ignored a “clear” warning sign that “a potentially explosive and dangerous situation was developing in Room 704.” The young black man, identified for the first time as Donald Williams Jr., plans to follow up with a lawsuit if the university rejects his claim, his attorney, Carl E. Douglas, said Thursday. In addition to being hit Thursday with the claim, San Jose State also came under criticism from a task force on racial discrimination that President Mo Qayoumi created earlier this year to critique the way it handled the bullying incident. Williams, a 17-year-old freshman this past fall, says he was subjected to a litany of abuse by four of his white suite mates. Among the allegations outlined in court documents, police reports and emails between members of the campus housing staff: Williams was called “three-fifths,” referring to the way the government once counted blacks as just a fraction of a person, and when he protested, they dubbed him “fraction.” The roommates outfitted the four-bedroom dormitory suite with a Confederate flag. They locked Williams in his room.They wrote the “N-word” on a dry-erase board in the living room.  They wrestled Williams to the ground and fastened a bicycle lock around his neck and told him they lost the keys. He needs more people. Teacher Denies Saying Racist Anti-Obama Remark He should have known better and watched what he said…now his job is on the line. SMH. According to Raw Story: An Ohio teacher tried to clarify remarks Thursday that he made to a student about his presidential aspirations as he fights to retain his job. Gil Voigt, a science teacher at Fairfield Freshman High School, flatly denied telling a student in December that “the country doesn’t need another black president,” as the teen had claimed. “Absolutely not,” Voigt told WLWT-TV. “I said, as the individuals were leaving the class, and I heard one of the individuals talk about wanting to be president, I said, ‘Let’s hope we don’t need another president like Obama, whether he’s black or white. We need somebody in the White House who can lead us in a different direction.’” “It was after school,” he said. “It was unstructured. It’s after the school day. It’s nothing more than if I was walking down the hall with somebody and we were talking about a certain issue.” Voigt said he doesn’t know why the student would accuse him of making a racist statement, although he admits he was reprimanded in 2008 for an “inappropriate racial comment” he made to a student who was sleeping in class. “I didn’t attack anybody individually,” he said. “It was an opinionated statement. I didn’t make any racial jokes. I didn’t curse. I’m fighting for clearance of my name.” This guy was already reprimanded for racist remarks before. According to Biz Pac Review: Participating in a CPAC 2014 panel discussion Saturday, syndicated columnist and best selling author Ann Coulter slammed the GOP, saying the immigration bill championed by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was evidence that “Republicans hate black people.” In a tribute to William F. Buckley Jr.’s “Firing Line”, Coulter was debating liberal journalist Mickey Kaus, with Townhall’s Jonathan Garthwaite moderating. “I mean my whole life I’ve heard Republicans hate black people, I’ve never seen any evidence of it until I read Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill,” she charged. “We are the party that has always stood up for African-Americans. Who gets hurt the most by amnesty, by continuing these immigration policies it is low-wage workers, it is Hispanics, it is blacks.” Coulter equated immigration reform efforts to amnesty, suggesting President George W. President Obama established this week, when he misspelled the name of Aretha Franklin’s hit song R-E-S-P-E-C-T, that A-B-C is not as easy as 1-2-3 after all. At the Women of Soul concert series, which is being hosted at the White House, the P-O-T-U-S spoke of the impact of artists on the fight for equality. However, when Obama went to quote Aretha Franklin’s famous song “Respect,” during which she spells out the word so memorably, he left out one letter. Watch the Commander-in-Chief’s bungled speech below … Barack Obama Misspells “RESPECT” “When Aretha [Franklin] first told us what R-S-P-E-C-T meant to her, she had no idea it would become a rallying cry for African Americans,” said Obama. “And women … and then everyone who felt marginalized because of what they looked like or who they loved. They wanted some respect,” he went on. A good message by the Prez. Clearly, he meant no disrspect. Somewhere, John Travolta and Adele Dazeem are smiling.

Marilyn Monroe Sex Tape with JFK & RFK: Headed to Auction!

An alleged Marilyn Monroe sex tape is ready to hit the open market, with former President John F. Kennedy AND his brother Robert F. Kennedy in co-starring roles. It’s not entirely clear if JFK and RFK tag-teamed Marilyn Monroe at the same time, or if the same video just happens to contain separate trysts with the brothers. Either way, former Hollywood bodyguard William Castleberry says it’s legit, and was just seized from his home along with other property as a result of a lawsuit. The Marilyn Monroe sex tape is going to auction Tuesday to cover a $200,000 court judgment against him, unless he can come up with that sum beforehand. No offense William … but we’re not exactly pulling for you here. Castleberry won’t say where or how he got the film, but says he always kept it secret out of respect for her ex-husband Joe DiMaggio, who he says was a good friend. The steamy footage has never before been seen … obviously. William says he’s well aware that a lot of people will think he’s a fraud, but insists it’s definitely the sexual icon, who died in 1962 at age 36, on the 8mm film. There have long been rumors that the Hollywood legend had affairs with both Kennedy brothers in the early ’60s, so this wouldn’t be totally unrealistic, but … Let’s just say the Kim Kardashian sex tape remains the gold standard until we see actual proof of JFK, RFK or MM going to town on each other on film. Ugandan Newspaper Publishes Identities Of “Top 200 Homos” In The Country The Ugandan community has been making national headlines lately as a result of their very public anti-gay rhetoric as a country, which reached its’ peak thus far yesterday when Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni officially signed the “Anti-Homosexuality Act” into law. Now, one day after the signing a Ugandan newspaper has released a list of the top 200 gay people in the country, all but urging resident who see anyone on the list to bring them to “justice.” via Gawker If you were curious about the practical implications of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act, signed yesterday by President Yoweri Museveni, look no further than its Red Pepper newspaper, which has published the identities of what it deems the country’s “200 Top Homos” on its cover. If you thought the law banning gay sex would exist only in the realm of gay sex, you were wrong. This is a war on gay people. Red Pepper’s move is similar to that of a now defunct paper called Rolling Stone (no relation to the U.S. music magazine), which published a list of Uganda’s “Top 100 Homos” in 2010. It was a call to action: “Hang Them” read the issue’s cover. About three months later, Ugandan activist David Kato who was among the paper’s Top 100, was bludgeoned to death. In response, Rolling Stone publisher Giles Muhame said, “This looks like any other crime. I have no regrets about the story. We were just exposing people who were doing wrong.” In the 2012 documentary Call Me Kuchu, which details the struggles of the LGBT community in Uganda, Muhame giggles as he discusses his paper’s detrimental outings (there was a followup a few weeks later, which identified 10 more Ugandan gays). Regardless of your personal beliefs with regard to the LGBT community, no human being deserves to be physically harmed or brutally ridiculed for they way the choose to live their personal lives, which most likely what’s coming next following the release of this “list”. SMH!
