For all that is negatively written about Michael Jackson, he was without a doubt a loving, caring father who cherished every moment with his children. A collection of never-before-seen private family photos and home videos were shown in court Thursday, and they truly show MJ at his absolute best. Michael Jackson Home Videos The two videos, shot by Michael on Christmas 2006 and a few years earlier, were played for the jury in the family’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG. It’s pretty wonderful, yet bittersweet as Michael asks each of his kids what they want to be when they grow up, and clearly loves every second of it. The idea behind releasing this material is to showcase the immeasurable loss the children suffered when Michael died (which they say AEG is to blame for ). Legal battle aside, Prince Jackson testified about MJ and how loving he was, and the videos and photos shown in court clearly drive that point home. Kate Middleton is due to give birth to the royal heir(ess) in just a few weeks … which makes this celebrity gossip tabloid cover nothing short of amazing. Promising ALL THE DETAILS of the royal birth, Life & Style omits just one: Kate Middleton hasn’t actually delivered the royal baby yet. Despite this minor discrepancy, her family and security team have “rushed to the hospital,” while Prince William has been “torn” from his wife’s side. Life & Style has taken up writing some historical fiction, apparently. Isn’t the point of being a gossip magazine that you write just that? As in gossip people might actually believe, and that while difficult to prove, is equally challenging to disprove? Thus keeping the rumor mill churning? This is just a bizarre, blatant misstatement of commonly-known fact, not unlike if THG were to tell you these Kim Kardashian baby photos were real. THG NOTE: They’re not, but they’re hilarious.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, RAF rescue pilot and husband of Kate Middleton celebrates his birthday on the 2013 Summer Solstice . Happy birthday to father-to-be Prince William! It’s good to be the future king any day, no doubt. Being married to Kate Middleton alone would make that the case. But soon he’ll have an heir(ess)! The couple has not found out the gender of their impending arrival – due next month – but he or she will assume a place in history from day one. No pressure, kid. As for his any big plans today? William is reportedly laying low lately, with any birthday commemorations likely to involve only family and close friends. For good reason. The wedding of Taj Jackson and Tayana Jackson was a major family affair, with one notable exception: Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson. The Sunday nuptials of Taj and Tayana took place at the family’s Hayvenhurst home, and “was like a family reunion,” says a source inside the wedding. Taj Jackson is the oldest son of Michael’s brother Tito, and the older brother of TJ Jackson, who in 2012 was named co-guardian of MJ’s three children. One of whom, Paris Jackson, was conspicuously absent Sunday. “No one said a word about Paris,” an E! source says, adding that the troubled teen “really wanted to come but they wouldn’t let her out of the hospital.” “I think everyone was trying to block it out and just enjoy the wedding. You wouldn’t know anything was going on, except that [Katherine] looked sad.” “She just didn’t look her normal, happy self today.” The reason for that is very much obvious. “She’s optimistic Paris will get the help she needs. She doesn’t think Paris realized at the time how serious the consequences of her actions would be.” “The hospitalization has hit Paris hard that this is serious.” Meanwhile, Paris’ brothers, Prince and Blanket, “are very well adjusted. You wouldn’t know anything was wrong. They were hanging out and laughing.” “Prince’s girlfriend was there. He didn’t leave her hip the entire night. Blanket was really outgoing, but he only talks to the people he’s close with.” Considering recent reports that Paris and Prince do not have the same father , we’re glad to hear that the focus was on having a good time on this day. Besides Prince Michael, Blanket and Katherine, other well-known guests included Jermaine Jacksun, La Toya Jackson, Tito Jackson and Joe Jackson. Also in attendance were Omer Bhatti and Kris Jenner, who was “happy” and “looking fabulous” following news that Kim Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl.

The first Diana trailer gives us a good look at just how convincing Naomi Watts is as Diana, Princess of Wales. Check it out: Diana Trailer The film follows the beloved princess in her final two years of life. After her highly-publicized divorce with Prince Charles, Diana became involved in relationships with both Dr. Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed, before dying in a car crash in Paris in 1997. Oliver Hirschbiegel directs the film, with Stephen Jeffries providing the script. Diana will hit theaters this fall.

Is Debbie Rowe poised to become Paris Jackson’s legal guardian after all these years? If the 15-year-old wants it, and she very well might, in light of recent events, it’s likely. The custody judge in the teen’s guardianship case has ordered an investigation into her welfare after the stunning Paris Jackson suicide attempt last week. Debbie Rowe has, thus far, made no attempt to become Paris’ legal guardian. That title belongs to Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, and T.J. Jackson. T.J., Tito’s son, is Paris’ cousin. He was installed as co-guardian last summer, but all of this could change if the judge deems it in Paris’ best interest. With his own wife and kids, T.J.’s role has been marginal, according to TMZ, and Paris feels that Katherine, while loving, is not “connected” to her life. Paris and Debbie have developed an intense relationship in recent months, and the judge will no doubt weigh this factor if Paris pushes for a change. Moreover, if Paris Jackson wants Debbie Rowe as her guardian, which insiders say it’s a “likely” scenario, Debbie would gladly accept the responsibility. When Michael Jackson died in June 2009, Debbie voiced concern about the welfare of her children, Paris and Prince, but accepted Katherine as guardian. As long as the kids were protected, she has never made an effort to be involved, but things changed recently when Paris started reaching out to her. Debbie never waived her right to a guardianship, as some sources have erroneously reported, and a judge would no doubt take her overtures seriously. Not only is she her biological mother, but she’s forged a real bond with her lately. Do you think maybe this change is just what the youngster needs?
