Kim Kardashian truly loved Kris Humphries back in the day and never had any intention of frauding him into marriage. So the reality star swore Tuesday in her nine-hour deposition, which took place in Los Angeles at the office of her attorney, Laura Wasser. Details are still leaking out regarding the testimony in this terse Kris Humphries- Kim Kardashian divorce case, but sources tell TMZ that the former did not even show up for the proceedings. Kardashian testified that her family’s E! series played NO role in her decision to exchange vows with the Nets power forward. Reportedly, Humphries’ attorney did not press very much on the issue of Keeping Up with the Kardashian s, despite an oath from its producer this month that various segments related to Kim and Kris were staged . Perhaps the lawyer was aware that the staging and re-creating of these scenes simply proves that his client was in on the scripted nonsense all along. A hearing is set for May 6, where Kim hopes a divorce is granted, while Humphries and his legal team are still hoping for an annulment. On what ground? No one really knows.
In a surprising (and yet somehow not surprising) twist, Lindsay Lohan struck a plea deal with prosecutors, avoiding jail in her lying-to-cops case … for now. Lindsay will be headed to rehab and must do community labor but will avoid major jail time, provided she complies the the terms of her probation. Yeah, we all know how that goes. The star showed up 48 minutes late (obviously) to face the music, and despite having rejected a plea deal earlier this month, agreed to the following terms: 90 days of in-patient, lockdown rehab 30 days of community labor 18 months of psychotherapy 2 more years of probation In concluding the proceedings, the judge told Lindsay “don’t drive” and “this is it” regarding probation. Next time, there will be no hearing. Just jail. It’s amazing she avoided it in this case, to be honest. For one, there’s a mandatory five-day jail sentence for reckless driving, but it’s going to be folded into her rehab; she won’t be behind bars even for a day. She also admitted to violating probation in her jewelry heist case, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail as a result … but that sentence was stayed. If Lindsay Lohan completes probation, it’ll disappear. Lohan was charged with reckless driving and lying to a police officer about a June 2012 car crash in which her Porsche crashed in to a dump truck. Her arrest triggered the probation violation charge. The actress entered pleas of no contest on two misdemeanor charges relating to the traffic accident, and she did not challenge that she violated probation. Lohan acknowledged her drug and alcohol addiction in past court appearances. She’s spent 250 days in five rehab facilities since January 2007. In other news, she got glitter-bombed, and wore this: Lindsay Lohan’s plea deal: A fair punishment? Fair enough. It’s on her to sink or swim. Not harsh enough! Lock her up! NeNe Leakes Defends Kenya Moore As you may have heard by now, RHOA pageant queen turned reality ratchet Kenya Moore plans to release a workout video entitled “Stallion Booty” to rival that of her fellow RHOA cast member Phaedra Parks’ “Donkey Booty” workout DVD. The latest episode had both big-bootied ladies at odds over plans to capitalize on their cakes, and now cast member NeNe Leakes is weighing in on who she thought was in the right. Here’s what “rich beyotch” NeNe had to say via her personal blog: via Bravo TV This past episode was all about being an a**, LOL! Me personally, I like to roll with Team Right! Friend or no friend! Let me take you back a minute. Remember when Phaedra was going to represent Sheree in her child support case? Phaedra made it clear that she doesn’t work for free, and she supposedly had to chase sheer down for 5k before she would start the proceedings. We are all in businesses that we hope will make us money, and doing business with friends is always a tricky thing. It’s funny how the two of them pride themselves on being such business women but didn’t have enough business sense to have a contract upfront. My thoughts are this: from what I could see on the show, Phaedra didn’t think Kenya deserved to be paid. If Kenya was going to help produce Phaedra’s donkey booty video, she should be paid for her efforts and hard work! Surely Phaedra paid the men she met with. From what we’ve seen, Kenya has been doing the most this entire season in every way possible, so it’s no surprise that Phaedra was a lil cautious about partnering with her on a business level. What do you think of NeNe’s take on it all?
Should Chris Brown Still Face Probation If Rihanna Has Decided To Date Him Again? Yesterday, Chris Brown had yet another day in court to update the judge on the status of his community service activities and to evaluate his compliance with his 5-year probation sentence received as punishment for the felony assault charge he faced after delivering a brutal beat-down to his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. via Huffington Post A judge on Thursday ordered Chris Brown to remain on supervised probation and make another court appearance after he completes an overseas tour. Brown remains on supervised probation for felony assault for an attack on Rihanna in 2009. He is scheduled to begin a tour that spans several countries in Europe and South Africa on Nov. 14. On the upside, in the almost 4 years since the incident occurred, Breezy has completed countless hours of community service , checked in regularly with his probation officers and at his court hearings, and has even “reconciled” with the victim of his vicious attack. Brown “appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation,” a probation officer wrote in a report prepared for Thursday’s hearing. The report recommended that Brown remain on probation under the same conditions he has abided by since pleading guilty to the attack on the eve of the Grammy awards. Brown appeared at the hearing along with his mother and attorney Mark Geragos. He did not speak during the proceedings, and when he attempted to at one point during discussions of his schedule, Geragos joked, “I don’t dance, you don’t talk.” Brown is scheduled to return to court Jan. 17. However, on the downside of things, the former blonde-haired bad boy has also thrown public temper tantrums, lashed out publicly at businesses and the media for not supporting him , and even failed a drug test during the course of his probation. Not to mention becoming the poster child for a PR nightmare with his repeated questionable decision-making, such as choosing to dress as a terrorist for Halloween. Despite his troubled past and sketchy present persona, some feel that Rih-Rih’s choice to reunite with her lovesick loverboy, in addition to her letting the world know that she has forgiven him and still considers him “the love of her life,” should exempt him from continuing to face legal consequences for committing a crime against someone who now welcomes him into her life….and her bed….on the regular. So we think it’s time to address the 50,000 pound, bright pink elephant in the room and see what you think. What say you Bossipers? Should Breezy still have to face the music for puttin them paws on Rih-Rih in 2009, or is it all null and void since she’s back to letting him chop her down and feel her up?
Jeffrey Neely, as expected, invoked the Fifth Amendment today in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s hearings on the General Services Administration’s lavish spending spree in Vegas and other places. And then, after he left the proceedings, he ran away from a mass of reporters trying to track him down. Fox captured the video of a bunch of reporters running after Neely. David Fincher might never have actually entertained the thought of casting Yo-Landi Vi$$er of South African zef rap duo Die Antwoord as his Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (at most, she seems to have been a rabid pixie style icon for Rooney Mara’s Oscar-nommed take on Lisbeth Salander), but how much more twisted and subversive might the diminutive Visser have been in the role, tasering old pervs and getting dirty in the “Feel-Bad Movie of the Year?” Watch the video for Die Antwoord’s latest grime jam, “I Fink U Freeky,” and let’s brainstorm ways to make Yo-Landi’s movie career happen, already. In the video, Yo-Landi takes front and center warbling the mantra “I fink u freeky (and I like you a lot)” while partner and music video co-director Ninja busts his own rhyme and unleashes a furious flurry of dance moves with some unusual cohorts. (Johannesburg-based photographer Roger Ballen shares directing credit with Ninja and lends the proceedings his signature black and white aesthetic.) As in most of their oeuvre, the pair embrace the idea of freakishness with relish. Yo-Landi in particular presents various aspects of her persona: Alien she-creature, weirdo South African Gothic homemaker, urban tribeswoman, newspaper cosplayer, coy 21st century cavewoman. The lady’s a chameleon! Now, I caught Die Antwoord’s wheelchair gangsta short Umshini Wam at SXSW and there’s word they’re planning their own feature film called The Answer , described as “a high-energy, totally next-level, rap-rave feature film … [akin to] District 9 , but just with more rave and more rap.” I say, why stop there? Off the bat, I picture Yo-Landi in a Species reboot. An urban comedy. Heck, dress her up in Michelle Williams’ pioneer duds for Meek’s Cutoff 2 and she’d make it riveting. I’d watch it. DWade is normally smiling, happy, and congenial, what the HELL happened?!? Not even the presence of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony could move the sides closer to an NBA labor agreement yesterday. And it may have moved them further apart in the cordiality department. Wade shouted at commissioner David Stern during the lowlight of a tempestuous five-hour negotiation that nearly ended the proceedings prematurely. The talks produced no deal and could have created ill feelings stemming from the Wade incident. Stern holds grudges. Players Association executive director Billy Hunter Jr. said he does not expect an agreement by this weekend. A person debriefed on the meeting confirmed Wade got ticked off when Stern, during his spiel, started pointing his finger at Wade. “Don’t point your finger at me,” the Heat superstar screamed at Stern. “I’m not a child.” ESPN reported Wade, James and Anthony threatened to leave the talks early before Hunter talked them into staying another hour. “There are times when it’s contentious,” union president Derek Fisher said, without referring to a specific incident. “Guys are very passionate about their opinions. There are also times you really talk and show the type of professional respect. When you have as much at stake as we all do, you have to expect some ups and downs within the meetings.” Seems to us like there are way more “downs” than “ups”. According to reports the two sides are nowhere near reaching an agreement and if there are hard feelings and yelling then it doesn’t appear that anything productive can be accomplished. Joining Wade, James and Anthony were superstars Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, and they all were vocal. The owners had 10 of the 12 members of their negotiating com mittee, including Knicks owner James Dolan, on hand plus Miami owner Mickey Arison. “It helps the process to have [owners] hear di rectly from their franchise players who mean most to our game,” Fisher said. “We encourage our guys to speak and express their thoughts and ask questions. That’s what they do when they come in the room.” Fisher held a press conference flanked by about 15 of the players, but only he spoke. The players looked less than happy to be there. Anthony will miss today’s powwow as he heads to Winston Salem, N.C., to play in a charity game with Paul. Several players are expected, but it is unknown if Wade will return. We just need these guys (owners AND players!) to get their lives together and reach an agreement so we can have basketball this winter! Source

Pastor Terry Jones held a press conference on Thursday April 21, the day before his trial in Dearborn. A group of culture-enrichers gathered at the back of the crowd and heckled him loudly all the way through the proceedings. All the shouting and screeching makes it difficult to hear anything properly in this video. To help our readers, Vlad Tepes has subtitled certain remarks and questions. The band takes part in some of the classic Nickelodeon game show’s goofy challenges in the new clip. By Kyle Anderson Good Charlotte Photo: Funny Or Die There’s an awful lot of Nickelodeon-related nostalgia in the air at the moment. Not only has the network announced that it will begin airing a late-night block of ’90s classics like “Clarissa Explains It All” and “The Adventures of Pete & Pete,”but the men of have resurrected the channel’s “Family Double Dare” in a video for their new song “Last Night,” a clip that premiered on FunnyOrDie.com on Monday. The video features a lovingly reconstructed version of the classic game show’s set and finds the bandmembers participating in a number of the program’s extra sloppy challenges — including a handful of entries on the famous game-ending obstacle course. Also appearing in the clip, in a starring role, is former “Family Double Dare” host Marc Summers, who oversees the proceedings and even lip-synchs some of the song. “This video takes place in the ’90s and we were all ’90s kids, so we know it pretty well,” Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden said in a statement. “This was one of our favorite shows growing up. I always wanted to go on ‘Family Double Dare,’ and now my dreams get to come true.” The video also features a number of very specific winks and nods to the original show, including the “Pie Cam” and a shout-out to Space Camp (which was often involved in the grand prize). Good Charlotte are currently on tour in support of their fifth album, Cardiology . They’ll wrap up their road trip on March 27 in Anaheim, California. What do you think of Good Charlotte’s new video?
