Bill Murray Craps on Ghostbusters 3 Once Again

Bill Murray has been so publicly dismissive about the mere possibility of Ghostbusters 3 — remember when he called it his ” nightmare ?” — that it’s hard to believe he hasn’t just burned his old costume in effigy at this point. In fact, based on his latest round of “let me cut this project off at the knees” quotes, it feels like the best way for Murray to get whatever revenge he’s looking for would be to simply appear in the sequel, cash his big check and put in as much effort as he did on Charlie’s Angels .

First “Canine Blood Bank” Launched In India

A blood bank which is only exclusive for dogs has been launched for the first time in India. The blood bank has been set up in order for the middle class dog owners to avail treatment for their pets in case of a road accident. The success of the project depends on dog owners if they will donate their pets’ blood. According to Dr. Thangaraju, Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, this is the first blood bank of its kind in the country. Many dogs have lost their lives because facilities such as blood bank do not exist in the country. Even though there are no plans at present to make the blood bank commercially viable still the university has plans to do it in the future. The process in the collection and storing of canine blood is the same with how human blood is collected and stored. Stringent measures will also be done to ensure that donated blood is free from infection. Dogs reaching the age of one to eight with body weight of around 20 kilograms are considered qualified for blood donations. A maximum of 300ml per dog can be donated at any one time while a healthy dog can donate 4 to 6 times a year. Guru Associate Black Jesus Recalls Introducing Late MC To Solar

Rapper calls the producer an ‘opportunist’ who preyed on Guru’s vulnerability. By Jayson Rodriguez, with reporting by Sway Calloway Black Jesus Photo: MTV News When it comes to Guru’s musical legacy, critics and fans alike point to the rapper’s work with DJ Premier in Gang Starr as evidence of his mark on hip-hop. The letter issued to the media after the MC’s death last week, however, didn’t even mention Primo by name. In the alleged comments, Guru pronounced himself to be the sole founder of Gang Starr. Admirers of the group cried foul over the slight. Solar, Guru’s new producer and spokesman, was accused of penning the letter, a claim he denied to MTV News . Fans wondered: Who is Solar? And how did he meet Guru? It turns out Guru met Solar when he was introduced by a mutual acquaintance, an artist named Black Jesus, who was signed to the Gang Starr rapper’s label. Now aligned with Wu-Tang Clan, Black Jesus told MTV News he first met Solar in the early 2000s. Both men are members of the Nation of Gods and Earths, a religious sect, and were introduced at a monthly rally in Harlem. According to Black Jesus, they discovered in one another a shared passion for music, and the rapper invited the budding producer to visit him in the studio. In the studio, working on a track titled “I’m Saying,” Black Jesus said he found Solar to be “arrogant” and a “control freak” after clashing with another producer. The rapper said he wrote the experience off to Solar being “starstruck” over Guru. Eventually, Solar started working with Guru, as the rapper was looking for beats for several projects outside of Gang Starr. Black Jesus recalled the time and emphatically denied Solar’s claims that the producer and Guru had a dynamic creative chemistry. “That’s exaggerating the whole situation,” Black Jesus told MTV News’ Sway. “The chemistry, ’cause [Guru] is Gang Starr, that’s his sound. … He did his Jazzmatazz thing and did different things, but the whole thing was, Guru was producing for me. At the time he was doing [Gang Starr’s] The Ownerz, he was working on my project. There was a chemistry we had. With the buzz, they kind of hated and didn’t want to go with the chemistry. A lot of people thought that wasn’t what he was supposed to be doing.” As Solar also revealed, Black Jesus said Guru had a dark cloud hanging over him in his later years, battling problems with drinking and drugs. He also suggested the divide between Guru and Premier wasn’t as deep as people speculated. Black Jesus said it was similar to what any longtime group experiences: personal jealousies and minor creative differences. Solar, he explained, was an “opportunist” who preyed on Guru’s vulnerability. “Guru complained to me a few times, ‘Oh, Primo this,’ ” Black Jesus said. “I looked it at like, ‘That’s you and your crew. That’s not really my business. You need to put aside your differences and put out a Gang Starr album,’ I told him. I think it was the fact, if you want me to be honest, it was the beats. ‘Cause he told me a couple times: When Guru steps off and they’re not doing Gang Starr, he does his Jazzmatazz albums, and Primo goes off and hits off Jadakiss, Nas and Hov. But I always felt [Guru and Premier] made their best music together.” Share your memories of Guru and Gang Starr in the comments below. Related Artists Gang Starr

Ice Cube Celebrates The West Coast On New Single ‘I Rep That West’

MC calls upcoming I Am the West album ‘West Coast hip-hop without any apologies.’ By Jayson Rodriguez, with additional reporting by Rahman Dukes Ice Cube Photo: MTV News Ice Cube premiered his new single, “I Rep That West,” Monday afternoon (April 26) on his website , and like many of the veteran rapper’s past efforts, the former N.W.A member is taking names and snarling at sucker MCs on the track. “South Central, home of so much potential/ But if you go there, the warfare is mental,” he raps over the synth-heavy production. The song is the lead offering from Cube’s forthcoming project, I Am the West. The album — slated for July — is his ninth solo album and first release since 2008’s Raw Footage. While on a promotional run for the project recently, Cube made headlines for what many perceived as a dis toward his former groupmate Dr. Dre on the I Am the West street track “Drinks the Kool-Aid.” Cube denied the allegations, and in a blog post, he revealed that he was reuniting with Dre for tracks that would appear on his new album. The mishap, however, created interest in his project, and Cube admitted that all the buzz got him excited. While in New York last week to promote his ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “Straight Outta L.A.,” Cube spoke to MTV News about his music and the incident, which occurred during the Paid Dues Tour. “It feels good,” he said of the attention. “That’s what it’s all about. I’m always an MC that likes to stir the pot a little bit. I don’t think you should rhyme for the sake of riddlin’, that’s what Chuck [D] said. I’m excited that people are excited about it. It’s a good record. I got production from Dre, even Sir Jinx got down. If anybody looked at the credits from my old records, we used to get down a lot. To me, it’s a record that should be anticipated. The lyrics are fire, the beats are right, and it’s West Coast hip-hop without any apologies. “The West Coast has been trying to figure out ‘What does the industry want from us?’ for the last 12 years,” he continued. “No more figuring out: We do what we wanna do. And people are gonna like it or not.” What do you think about Ice Cube’s statement about West Coast hip-hop? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Ice Cube

Gutter Bitch Uses HIV to Get Revenge on her Baby Daddy of the Day

This is what’s wrong with America, or at least Jacksonville Florida and that’s that people are uneducated, poor, gutter trash. This story is straight out of the fucking projects… In this clip you will here some bitch from the project who hates her baby daddy so much, for whatever reason, that I can only assume is probably not that big of a deal, so she got her friend who she knew was HIV positive to sleep with him…she set the fucker up and called it into the radio show because I guess she thought it was a good idea, but that shit is beyond fucking gutter, it’s insanity and the scariest thing about all this is that there’s a kid involved, proving that some people need to have their uterus removed and not just any trash should be able to reproduce, they need to issue licenses for that shit….
