Our condolences. Markel Owens And His Stepfather Killed In Home Robbery People really don’t give a fawk. According to NY Daily News: An Arkansas State football player and his stepfather were shot to death during a home invasion robbery in Jackson, Tenn., with the athlete apparently trying to protect his parents from their attackers, police said Thursday. Markel Owens, a 21-year-old junior defensive lineman for the Red Wolves, was fatally shot along with Johnny Shivers, 36, during the robbery at a duplex on Wednesday night. Shivers died at the scene, while Owens was pronounced dead after being taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. “I think you can conclude that he was protecting his mother and stepfather,” Jackson police spokesman Tyreece Miller said of Owens. Jerry Scott, the school’s sports information director, called it a sad day for the Red Wolves. “We’re deeply saddened and our utmost sympathies go out to his family, teammates and classmates,” Arkansas State athletic director Terry Mohajir said in a statement. “Please join me in prayer for so many people who are being impacted by the loss of Markel.” Investigators say they believe Shivers was specifically targeted and police also discovered a large amount of m*r*ju*na inside the apartment. While the motive remains under investigation, police believe the robbers knew that drugs, money or both were in the apartment. This young man had such a bright future. Russell Johnson Dies; Gilligan’s Island Professor Was 89

Russell Johnson, a veteran actor forever best known as playing The Professor on Gilligan’s Island, died this morning at his hom in Washington. He was 89 years old. Johnson’s agent, Michael Eisentstadt, confirmed the sad news and said his client passed away of natural causes while surrounded by his wife and daughter. Despite the star’s age, the death was unexpected. “I spoke to him right before the holidays and he did an autograph job,” says Eisentstadt.” He had just done that and he was fine.” Dawn Wells, who portrayed Mary Ann on beloved series, posted a picture of herself, Johnson and Bob Denver (Gilligan) on Facebook in response to the news and wrote: “My 2 favorite people are now gone. The Professor [passed] away this morning. My heart is broken.” Johnson starred on the show from 1964 to 1967. The only surviving members of the regular cast now are Wells and Tina Louise.

So sad. Siblings Suffocate After Locking Themselves In Trunk Their death could have been prevented with proper supervision. According to Boston Globe: Dawn Powers carried a bouquet of flowers in her hands today when she walked up to the Chestnut Street home where two young siblings died Sunday when they locked themselves inside a hope chest. Powers said her daughter was a frequent playmate of 8-year-old Lexi Munroe, who was killed, along with her brother, Sean, 7, in what authorities believe was a stunning, tragic accident. “Two of the nicest kids,’’ said Powers, who said she was emotionally drained by the sudden loss of two children from her neighborhood. “It’s just devastating.’’ Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said the children were found inside a chest made by Lane Furniture of Virginia and that the chest was in a child’s bedroom in the split-entry home. “It has some type of locking mechanism that did not have the ability to be unlocked from the inside,’’ said Morrissey, adding the family were not the original buyers of the chest. “It was bought used.’’ Lane Furniture recalled 12 million chests in 1996 with lids that automatically latched shut when closed. This is so sad. Boy Dies Covered In Cigarette Burns This little boy had his whole life ahead of him. According to NY Daily News: A 4-year-old boy died after being found unconscious in the care of a baby-sitter in a Hell’s Kitchen apartment Wednesday — and his body was marked by cigarette burns and defensive wounds, police sources said. Police found Myles Dobson unresponsive when they arrived at the apartment in the Ritz Plaza, a luxury doorman building on W. 48th St., near Eighth Ave., following a 911 call at 10:50 a.m., police said. The boy was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital. The baby-sitter, a 37-year-old woman, was interviewed by detectives for several hours, the sources said. She said she heard a noise, ran back into the bathroom, and found the boy in the tub, unconscious, the sources said. There was no water in the tub, sources said. Investigators had questions about the woman’s story, because the child’s skin was pocked with burns that were consistent with being poked with a lit cigarette, and his body had wounds that appeared to have been sustained while he tried to defend himself, sources said. His body was also bruised, the sources said. “It looks like we’re going to charge her,” a police source told the Daily News, cautioning that a decision had not been made because the investigation had just begun. “It’s too early.” Her story smells fishy. It’s sad when your own family murks you. Teen Kills Sister and Father He needs his azz whooped and thrown underneath the jail. According to NY Daily News: A Louisiana teen admitted to murdering his 2-year-old half-sister and father, police said. Jacob Middleton Jr., 17, of Metairie, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of first degree murder. During questioning, Middleton Jr. admitted to killing Jacob Middleton Sr., 35, and Makayla Middleton, 2, according to St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain’s office. “He indicated that his actions were the result of, among other things, his hatred of his father for what he claimed was years of abuse and family violence,” the office said in a release. The accused killer is being held without bail, the Sheriff’s Office said. The baby’s mother, Kellie Smith, reportedly found the dead bodies with bullet wounds to their heads in a Covington area subdivision about 10 a.m. Monday, local media report. Middleton Jr.’s parents divorced in 2011, a year after his mother got a protective order against Middleton Sr. for alleged beatings and threats with weapons, The Times-Picayune reported. The News Orleans paper said Middleton Sr. was arrested for domestic abuse in 2009 but the battery charge was dropped. But Smith says that Middleton Sr. was never violent toward her. She could not fight the tears during an interview with local station WWLTV about the senseless slayings — especially that of her innocent little girl, who loved to dance and play dress-up. That 2-year-old girl never hurt a soul. “I moved her hair and I saw the bullet hole, and in order to breathe I just kept screaming, and I couldn’t scream and I just kept screaming and I couldn’t form words and I kept asking her to wake up. I kept trying her to wake up,” she said. “She didn’t wake up.” There are plenty of people who are abused, but they don’t go on a killing spree.

Damn… This sounds crazy . According to NewsOk.com reports : Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said he had never heard of “an atomic wedgie,” before suspect Brad Davis told investigators he gave one to his stepfather, Denver Lee St. Clair, on Dec. 21 at St Clair’s home at 4 Shadowlake Drive in Pottawatomie County near McLoud. St. Clair was dead at the scene. Davis is St. Clair’s stepson and lives in the area. “I’d never seen this before, but when we first looked at our victim seeing the waistband of his underwear was around his neck,” Booth said. Booth said Davis told investigators that he went to his stepfather’s residence and his stepfather “jumped him.” St. Clair had a head wound and appeared to have been in a fight. The underwear St. Clair was wearing had been pulled up his back and over his head, leaving the waistband around his neck. Booth said it was the first time he had ever heard of someone being killed by a pair of underwear. The cause of death has been determined to be from blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation. The death has been ruled a homicide, said Amy Elliott, Oklahoma state medical examiner’s spokeswoman. Booth said a full report has been presented to the Pottawatomie County District Attorney’s office where a murder charge is expected to be filed. Former Venezuelan Beauty Queen Monica Spear Murdered A group of aint isht scumbags have left the 5-year-old daughter of a former Venezuelan beauty queen without both parents after they murdered the woman and her husband during an attempted robbery before shooting the child in the leg. via THG Tragic news today out of Venezuela: Monica Spear, a 29-year old wife, mother and former Miss Venezuela, was killed in an attempted robbery last night. According to local police, via Globovision, the ex-beauty pageant winner was in the car with her husband and daughter when their vehicle crashed. Assailants then approached the family and murdered both Spear and her husband, Thomas Henry Berry; their five-year old girl was left with a bullet wound in her leg. The trio had been on vacation and were traveling in a Toyota Corolla toward the city of Valenica when the horrible incident took place. Spear won the crown of Miss Venezuela in 2004 and took part in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand. She had appeared in a number of Venezuelan and Telemundo soap operas since then. Wow. Hopefully they catch the lowlifes that did this!
