Racist Or Nah? AIG Insurance CEO Compares Outrage Over Poooor Rich Wall Street Execs Accepting Big Bonuses To Slave Lynchings In The South

Cry us a fawking river… AIG CEO Compares Wall Street Exec Bonus Outrage To Slave Lynchings Another day, another filthy rich right-winger putting his foot in his mouth. This time the foolery comes courtesy of AIG Insurance CEO Bob Benmosche. via Think Progress In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, AIG CEO Bob Benmosche came out with the worst analogy for the 2009 financial crisis. Benmosche compared public outrage over AIG’s bonuses to the Deep South lynching African-Americans. “It was just as bad and just as wrong,” he said, because employees were used to a certain way of living: “Now you have these bright young people [in the financial-products unit] who had nothing to do with [the bad bets that hurt the company.] … They understand the derivatives very well; they understand the complexity. … They’re all scared. They [had made] good livings. They probably lived beyond their means. …They aren’t going to stay there for nothing. The uproar over bonuses “was intended to stir public anger, to get everybody out there with their pitch forks and their hangman nooses, and all that–sort of like what we did in the Deep South [decades ago]. And I think it was just as bad and just as wrong.” The nerve of this dude to compare the “struggle” that his already-privileged staff is going through to that of slaves in the south who LOST THEIR LIVES. Sounds to us like he deserves all the backlash he gets. Continue reading

Till Death Do Us Part: Newlywed Wife Pushes Her Husband Off Of A Cliff During Argument One Week After Their Marriage

Jesus take the wedding ring… Woman Pushes Her Husband Off Of A Cliff One Week After Marriage A deranged newlywed woman could now face life in prison after she admitted to pushing her husband of one week to his death off of a cliff during a heated argument about their marriage. via Fox News A newlywed wife was charged on Monday with second-degree murder for allegedly pushing her husband off a cliff in Glacier National Park during an argument just a week after they married. Jordan Linn Graham, 22, could face life in prison if convicted in the death of 25-year-old Cody Lee Johnson. Charging documents suggest Graham was having second thoughts about getting married around the time her husband’s body was discovered. Graham has told an FBI agent that she and her husband had been arguing on July 7 as they walked in the Loop Trail area of the park. At one point, she turned to walk away, but Johnson grabbed her arm, she said. She turned around, removed his hand from her arm and “due to her anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back, and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff,” an affidavit states. Johnson was reported missing on July 8 when he failed to show up for work. Graham later reported that she had spotted his body. More details surrounding this case suggest that the woman had long expressed her marriage regrets and told family and friends that she “just wanted a wedding,” but didn’t really want to be married. UnSportsmanlike Conduct: Canadian Corrections Officers Rock Orange Jumpsuits Bearing Aaron Hernandez’s Name And Number To Patriots/Bills Game

Aaron Hernandez couldn’t be there for the Patriots season opener against the Buffalo Bills but his presence was felt nonetheless… Via NY Daily News reports : Dressed in orange jumpsuits painted with the surname “Hernandez” and the No. 81 on the backs, 10 Canadian men who identified themselves as corrections and police officers stood in Section 102 of Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday. They posed with Patriots and Bills fans alike, standing atop their bleacher seats in Row 15 below O.J. Simpson’s retired No. 32 marker in the team’s ring of honor. The men planned to wear the outfits to offer a Hernandez presence at the Patriots’ season opener as Hernandez, the former New England tight end, sat in his solitary cell at the Bristol County House of Correction back in Massachusetts as he awaits his murder trial. Hernandez, 23, was arrested for allegedly orchestrating the killing of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old landscaper who moonlighted as a linebacker on the Boston Bandits, a team in the New England Football League. Hernandez was arraigned on first-degree murder and five firearms charges in Superior Court Friday afternoon in Fall River, Mass. “He’s guilty,” Kevin Buchan said. “No two ways about it.” Hernandez was not allowed to watch the game, according to sheriff Tom Hodgson. “Absolutely not,” Hodgson said. “No way.” SMH… Do you think these guys went too far or is it an important reminder to society about all the dirt Hernandez was allowed to get away with as an NFL baller before his murderous acts finally caught up to him? Pull Out For What? 87-Year-Old Man Who Fathered 54 Children Passes Away And His Kids Reunite For His Funeral

Papa was a rolling stone… Man Who Fathered 54 Children Passes Away Three daughters of an 87-year-old man who passed away recently embarked on the search of a lifetime when they took on the task of locating their other estimated 52 siblings to bring them together for their father’s memorial service. via Inquisitr Samuel Delbert Whitney, who is estimated to have fathered a total of 54 children, died last month and his entire family gathered to bid farewell to him at his funeral last weekend. Whitney, who was a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, died at the age of 87, and he is believed to have been the father to 54 children who age from 69 down to 13 years of age. The youngest of which was born when Whitney was in his mid 70s. Whitney, who ran an operating wrecking yard in south Phoenix, also worked in numerous social clubs too in the city. He has fathered so many children that no one knows exactly how many sons and daughters he has. Lexi Woods, one of his eldest, revealed that her father once revealed that she had 41 brothers and sisters, but friends have revealed that it was actually closer to 54. Marilyn Whitney, another of his daughters, praised her father, calling him a family man, but admitting, “He had a lot of umph in him I guess.” In light of his death, the three sisters worked together to locate their other siblings so that they could all reunite to celebrate the life of their stick-n-move father. Lexi, Marilyn and Sandra, who are all aged 69 and are Samuel’s oldest children, decided to organize the memorial service and then attempted to track down their siblings. However, because they didn’t know how many siblings they had or even who they were, they took drastic steps to hunt them down. They even contacted a local TV news station who aired a feature on the bizarre search also. In the end, the sisters admitted that the service was a success, and they each gathered together to celebrate their father’s life. SMH. This is crazy. Jesus Take The Wheel: 1-Year-Old Toddler Killed In New Orleans When Baby-Sitter Is Shot Twice While Holding Her!

There aren’t enough kleenex in the world to prepare you for this one… 1-Year-Old Girl Shot Dead While Walking With Babysitter In New Orleans Via NYDailyNews A city is looking for answers after a one-year-old New Orleans girl was gunned down in the arms of her babysitter while they were on a walk down a city street late this week. Little Londyn Samuels was killed after a bullet continued through the back of her 18-year-old nanny on Thursday night, leaving the babysitter wounded, but in stable condition as of Saturday. The two had been on a stroll through Central City, when shots rang out around 8:20pm. NBC News reports that there were two shots fired, both passing through the babysitter’s torso and into baby Londyn. She was able to frantically call Londyn’s father, 20-year-old Keion Reed, alerting him that his little daughter was shot. Her mother, Andrea Samuels, 22, broke down crying when she heard the news, family members told WWLTV. “She was my world, she was everything, she was my reason for getting up in the morning,” the grief-stricken father later told the station. Family members told the Times-Picayune that Londyn was just learning how to walk. “She used to stand on her feet and try to wiggle,” her aunt, Euneka McGee, 20, told the paper. Lord Jesus… According to the Times-Picayune, the NOPD has taken in a man and a woman for questioning, and are searching for a second man in regard to the shooting. The city’s mayor, Mitch Landrieu, told NBC News that the violence must be quashed. “When a young man kills a child in the arms of an 18-year-old, we have to take it to a new level,” he said. R.I.P. Londyn Samuels. We can’t even imagine the pain that this family is feeling right now, our thoughts and prayers are with them.
