He was killed by his parents because he didn’t read the good book or do his homework. This poor little boy was beaten on the regular and his Mom and Stepdad are facing murder charges after doctors find markings of repeated abuse. According to The Huffington Post : Roderick “RJ” Arrington Jr., was admitted to an area hospital on Nov. 29 because he was unresponsive, according to the Las Vegas Sun. Personnel there called officers to the scene after they observed severe bruising and brain swelling, according to a police report. The boy died the following afternoon. Police arrested the boy’s mother, Dina Palmer, 27, and stepfather, Markiece Palmer, 34, and charged them with the murder of the boy. Investigators said that Palmer “stood by and let her husband” shake and beat the boy to death. According to KLAS, the arrest report detailed “open abrasions on [Arrington’s] buttocks, severe bruising to his thighs, marks and bruises on his back and shoulders and evidence of previous beatings.” Markiece Palmer stated the second grade student was spanked on Nov. 27 because he had lied about reading the Bible; he said the boy was also spanked the following day for not finishing his homework, according to police. Police claim the boy’s stepfather beat him with a spatula, belt and possibly a wooden paddle. Dina Palmer allegedly struck her son on his buttocks with both a belt and her hand. The couple reportedly called a pastor before dialing 911. KSNV writes, “Pastor Kenneth Hollingsworth says he’s as shocked as anyone that Markiece Palmer chose to call him before first-responders.” The Palmers appeared in court Tuesday and each face charges of murder, child abuse and neglect, the station reports. Her illness made her climax up to 50 times in a row , and she took her own life just days after she’d reached out for help. According to Fox News … A woman recently profiled in the media about her rare sexual disorder – a condition that caused her to be continuously sexually aroused – was found dead after taking her own life Saturday, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Gretchen Molannen, 39, struggled with persistent genital arousal disorder for 16 years. The disorder causes women to be physically aroused, but not psychologically – which some doctors believe to be caused by malfunctioning nerves. According to the Times, deputies from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suicide call at Molannen’s home in Spring Hill, Fla. late Saturday night. Officials did not provide any more details surrounding her death. Molannen had a history with attempted suicide, having tried to take her own life three times during the past year. She had been so affected by her condition, she was unable to hold steady employment for the past decade. It wasn’t until 2007, when she watched another woman talking about the condition on an episode of 20/20, that she realized what she had. The Times interviewed Molannen about her story in July and ran the finished article Friday. According to the paper, the Times tried to reach Molannen this past weekend to check on her, but was unable to contact her. What a miserable condition to have. R.I.P. Images via tumblr
Does Barack Obama owe the City of Detroit a bailout? One city councilwoman seems to think so. Via MyFoxDetroit : The city of Detroit faces a major financial crisis and one member of city council thinks President Barack Obama should step in and help. City Council member JoAnn Watson said Tuesday the citizens support of Obama in last month’s election was enough reason for the president to bailout the struggling the city. “Our people in an overwhelming way supported the re-election of this president and there ought to be a quid pro quo and you ought to exercise leadership on that,” said Watson. “Of course, not just that, but why not?” Nearly 75 percent of Wayne County voters pulled the lever for Obama in November. “After the election of Jimmy Carter, the honorable Coleman Alexander Young, he went to Washington, D.C. He came home with some bacon,” said Watson. “That’s what you do.” Young served as Detroit’s mayor for 20 years and served as vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1977 to 1981. The White House has expressed no plans to bailout the cash-crunched city that some experts say could run out of money by the end of the year. The federal government has bailed out cities in the past, however. In 1975, President Gerald Ford extended more than $2 billion in credit to New York City to help it avoid a financial collapse. What do you think President Obama should do? If he bails out Detroit, where does it end?
Man Who Pushed NYC Subway Passenger To His Death Charged With Murder A NYC man who pushed another passenger onto the subway tracks during a heated argument earlier this week has been charged with murder after the fallen passenger died as a result of his injuries. via ABC News A New York City man was charged today with murder for shoving another man onto subway tracks where he was struck and killed by an oncoming train. Naeem Davis, 30, was charged after being questioned by police since Tuesday about the death of Ki-Suck Han, 58, of Queens, N.Y. Two sources involved in Davis’ arrest and charging say there is a question whether he intended to kill Han or whether his death was an unintended consequence of an altercation. Davis admitted to police while explaining the incident that he shoved Han in a way that caused him to fall onto the subway tracks, according to multiple sources involved with the investigation. Han struggled to pull himself up from the shoulder-high track bed and back onto the platform at the 49th Street and Seventh Avenue station around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, but was hit and killed by a Q train when it barrelled into the station. This just goes to show that it’s often better to just walk away from an argument….you never know when the other person will spaz the fawk out and do something crazy. SMH.
Jovan Belcher, the Chiefs baller who shot the beautiful mother of his daughter before taking his own life was creeping with another woman the night before. Via NY Post reports : Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher had a boozy dinner with another woman and spent the night at her apartment before he went home, fought with and killed his girlfriend, and then ended his own life in a practice-facility parking lot, sources said yesterday. After dinner and drinks Friday night at a local tavern, the former Long Island high-school star took the woman, Brittni Glass, to her home, but spent the next several hours asleep in his Bentley outside her building, neighbors said. After cops roused him from his drunken slumber at about 2:30 a.m., Belcher went inside Glass’ building and re-emerged about four hours later. “I was with him that night, that’s it,” a reluctant Glass told The Post yesterday. Belcher drove away at about 6:45 a.m., making the 10-minute ride to the home he shared with Kasandra Perkins, the mother of his 3-month-old daughter. Cops said Belcher quarreled with Perkins and shot her nine times as his own mom watched in horror. Perkins’ body was found on a bathroom floor. Belcher then drove to the Chiefs’ practice facility at 8 a.m. and shot himself in the head with a different gun in front of the team’s coach and general manager. Glass said she told police they had been together that night. Cops confirmed that several people came forward to tell them about Belcher’s visit. “His Bentley was parked outside,” a neighbor said. “He went upstairs. He was drunk. He went up to see the girl.’’ Early reports said Belcher flew into a rage after Perkins returned late from a Trey Songz concert at about 1 a.m. But according to Glass and her neighbors, Belcher wasn’t even home then. Residents said they had seen Belcher — who had a $1.9 million contract with the Chiefs this year — and his distinctive black Bentley at the building several times in recent months. Glass said she and Belcher were not in a relationship and declined to say exactly where he slept. Meanwhile, a new report said Belcher had been violent in a past relationship. In 2006, while a grid star at the University of Maine, he punched his fist through a window because he was “upset with a girl,’’ said a police report obtained by USA Today. Less than a year later, campus cops responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct at a dorm after someone “became concerned about the raised voices” of Belcher and a girlfriend outside his room, the paper said.. Yesterday, Perkins’ family broke its silence for the first time since the tragedy. “Our wish is for Kasi to be remembered for the love she shared with us all. Kasi will be truly missed,” they said in a statement. Trey Songz is probably relieved to hear this new info, but we kinda pity this Brittni Glass chick cuz it’s only a matter of time before her photo leaks and the world starts calling her all kinds of slores… As for Belcher, the more we learn the more he sounds like he had some serious issues.
