Whoever the punk was, they sent the Mayor some disturbing pics that reminded us…regardless of how far right you swing, those good ‘ole boys still just see your skin color. According to Politico, Mia isn’t that shook up about the ordeal… Police are investigating racist photos sent to the office of Utah GOP congressional candidate Mia Love, but aren’t sure if any crimes were committed, according to a report. An envelope including pictures of aborted fetuses, a photo of Love and her husband Jason, and a photo of a hooded Ku Klux member were sent to Love’s mayoral office in Saratoga Springs, the Deseret News reported. Saratoga Springs’ city manager said the contents were “disturbing” and “pretty creepy.” Love, who would be the first black female Republican elected to Congress, told the paper her opposition to President Barack Obama makes her a target. “I knew that people would come after me,” she said. “I knew that people would try to change and distort information so I’m going to focus on things that are really important.” This probably won’t change Love’s views on many issues one bit…but if she thinks her opposition to POTUS is the reason she’s receiving this kind of mail, she’s in need of a serious reality check! Neighbors driving by his spot lately though have noticed an odd fixture on display in his front yard…an “empty chair” tied up on a rope hanging off of his tree! According to The Huffington Post… When asked about the display, Johnson said he didn’t “give a shit ” if it was offensive and went on to criticize the president. “I don’t really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not,” Johnson told Burnt Orange Report. “You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don’t give a shit . If you don’t like it, don’t come down my street.” The image of an empty chair became synonymous with Obama after actor Clint Eastwood talked to an empty chair representing the president while speaking at the 2012 Republican National Convention. This isn’t the first time a racist public display has been made against Obama. A photograph of a bumper sticker featuring racist anti-Obama language went viral on Facebook in March, and a Georgia bar is facing backlash after posting a sign that read, “I heard the White House smelled like collard greens and fried chicken.” That’s some KKK isht right there! Nicki might not be the only Black Republican . A December 2010 Gallup Poll pointed out that blacks are conservative on most moral issues, almost as conservative as Republicans . The following are some of the ideas that make blacks as conservative as Republicans on social issues: 1. 31% of blacks said that homosexuality is morally acceptable while 30% of Republicans said the same. 61% of non-black Democrats agreed that homosexuality is morally acceptable. 2. 46% of both blacks and Republicans believe that sex between an unmarried male and female is morally acceptable as opposed to 68% of non-black Democrats. 3. 37% of blacks said that abortion is morally acceptable and 25% of Republicans agreed with them. 54% of non-black Democrats agreed that abortion is morally acceptable. 4. 30% of blacks agreed that same sex marriages should be recognized by law as valid, 22% of Republicans concurred. 57% of non-black Democrats also agreed. Overall, blacks are more closely aligned with Republicans morally verses their non-black Democratic counterparts. Furthermore, blacks are more religious and go to church more often than either Republicans or non-black Democrats. In church attendance 76% of blacks attend weekly services and 67% of Republicans attend weekly. The elections are upon us again, will blacks still support the Democrats and President Obama? If Blacks never vote for Republicans, why would they ever listen to our concerns? Also, if we always vote for Democrats no matter if they fulfill their promises or not, why should they listen? Gym Fires Back At Gabby Douglas’ “They Called Me A Slave” Comment Who do you believe?? Douglas’ former gym in Virginia Beach are “shocked” and “hurt” over allegations the two-time gold medal-winning gymnast made about racial bullying during her time there. Douglas told Oprah Winfrey in a recent interview that she was subject to racial taunts and comments while training at Excalibur Gymnastics in her hometown. She told one story in which a teammate told her to perform a task because she was their slave. “I definitely felt isolated,” Douglas told Winfrey. “I felt, ‘Why do I deserve this? Is it because I’m black?’ “ People associated with Excalibur were quick to rebut the claims to multiple news outlets. They say Douglas is exaggerating. “Really, I was shocked and very hurt,” former coach Dena Walker told NewsChannel 3. The CEO of Excalibur vehemently denied the statement. “I wish to defend the children that trained with her and supported her when she attacks them with these allegations,” Gustavo Moure told E! News. “Is Gabrielle a credible person just because she is an Olympic champion? She is not giving any names or dates, leading us to believe that the accusation is fake.” We believe Gabby, and not just because she’s black. Why would she make that up?? SMH. Source
Dang, Gabby has had it rough… She’s one of the most celebrated athletes to come out of the recently concluded London Olympics, but Gabby Douglas languished and suffered as a young gymnast in her native Virginia Beach, Virginia — where she was taunted by fellow gymnasts, sometimes even with racial slurs. Now 16 and in possession of two gold medals, Douglas (with mom Natalie Hawkins) told Oprah Winfrey on Sunday’s Oprah’s Next Chapter about the less-than-ideal atmosphere at a local gym. “One of my teammates was like, ‘Can you scrape the bar?’ And they were like, ‘Why doesn’t Gabby do it, she’s our slave?’” “I definitely felt isolated, I felt why am I deserving this? Is it because I’m black? Those thoughts would go through my mind,” said the champ, who became the first-ever African-American to win the coveted All-Around trophy. The teasing got so bad that, at age 14, Douglas threatened to quit the sport altogether if they couldn’t move away and find a new coach. “I felt like I was bullied and isolated from the group, and they treated me not how they would treat the other teammates,” Douglas admitted. Indeed, Douglas eventually did move to Des Moines, Iowa, in order to train at Liang Chow’s gym, where fellow Olympic champ Shawn Johnson trained. SMH. Hampton University’s business school dean is standing by a controversial ban on dreadlocks and cornrows for some students . Male students enrolled in the school’s 5-year MBA program who take the seminar class cannot wear dreadlocks or cornrows in class. The ban, which began in 2001, has been controversial over the years. “I don’t think it shouldn’t matter what the hairstyle. It’s my life. I should be able to do whatever I want to do,” said incoming freshman Uriah Bethea, who wears dreadlocks and says he wouldn’t compromise his look for a class. Dean Credle disagrees and says when people criticize the ban for denying cultural aspects of style, he believes cornrows and dreadlocks have not been a historically professional look. “I said when was it that cornrows and dreadlocks were a part of African American history?” Credle added, “I mean Charles Drew didn’t wear, Muhammad Ali didn’t wear it. Martin Luther King didn’t wear it.” Some argue that because this is a private institution they are allowed to make up these rules and standards. Don’t like it? Leave and apply to another one. White racists, neo-Nazis and skinhead groups encourage followers to enlist in the Army and Marine Corps to acquire the skills to overthrow what some call the ZOG — the Zionist Occupation Government. Former U.S. Army soldier Wade Page opened fire with a 9 mm handgun at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on August 5, murdering six people and critically wounding three before killing himself during a shootout with police. The U.S. Defense Department as well has stepped up efforts to purge violent racists from its ranks, earning praise from organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, which has tracked and exposed hate groups since the 1970s. Page, who was 40, was well known in the white supremacist music scene. In the early 2000s he told academic researcher Pete Simi that he became a neo-Nazi after joining the military in 1992. Fred Lucas, who served with him, said Page openly espoused his racist views until 1998, when he was demoted from sergeant to specialist, discharged and barred from re-enlistment. Experts have identified the presence of street gang members as a more widespread problem. Even so, the Pentagon has launched three major pushes in recent decades to crack down on racist extremists. The first directive was issued in 1986, when Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger ordered military personnel to reject supremacist organizations. That failed to stop former Marine T.J. Leyden, with two-inch SS bolts tattooed above his collar, from serving from 1988 to 1991 while openly supporting neo-Nazi causes. A member of the Hammerskin Nation, a skinhead group, he said he hung a swastika from his locker, taking it down only when his commander politely asked him to ahead of inspections by the commanding general. “We’re very strict on the tattoo policy here within this recruiting station,” said Sergeant Aaron Iskenderian, head of the Army recruiting office in Fayetteville, the Army town next to Fort Bragg. Iskenderian cited the example of a young man who came in recently with a tattoo of the Confederate flag. The potential recruit also told Iskenderian he had a black girlfriend. Iskenderian sent the issue up the chain of command, and the young man was rejected. Academics who study white supremacists say proponents of the “infiltration strategy” of joining the U.S. military have adapted, telling skinheads to deceive military recruiters by letting their hair grow, avoiding or covering tattoos, and suppressing their racist views. For neo-Nazis who get past the screeners, as with the gang members, the military needs a comprehensive strategy, said Carter F. Smith, a former military investigator who is now a professor of criminal justice at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. “They are some of the most disciplined soldiers we have. They really want to learn to shoot those weapons,” Smith said. “The problem wasn’t just that we were opening the floodgates to let them in. Marshawn Lynch Claims Arresting DUI Cops Racially Profiled Him Things are getting racial in the Marshawn Lynch DUI case — the NFL star’s lawyer tells TMZ he believes the two white cops who arrested Lynch may have had it out for the running back because of the color of his skin. Lynch was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol in Oakland back in July and was arrested for drunk driving after officers say his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. In the police report, cops said they had noticed the Seattle Seahawks running back had been swerving all over the road. But Lynch’s attorney, Ivan Golde, tells us “There may be an issue of police misconduct/racism based on the fact that you have two white cops [and] an African American defendant by himself.” Golde believes the proof may rest in the fact that the incident was NOT captured on the CHP dash cam. Golde claims cops told him the recording device was “not functioning properly” during the arrest. “There’s an inference, a possibility … it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to say that the police maybe turned it off,” Golde says. TMZ spoke with a rep for the CHP who tells us, “Although the lawyer for Mr. Lynch alleges there is possible police misconduct and racism because both of the officers who arrested him were of Caucasian ancestry and their patrol vehicle’s mobile video/audio recording system was inoperative, this allegation is false and without merit.” Even if these cops were racist pieces of isht Marshawn, you were still P*SS drunk and swerving more than Big Sean.
