New Jersey paralegal Tawanna Hilliard has been charged with witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy after allegedly using her work computer to access and expose information about her son’s Brooklyn gang. The New York Daily News reports: “Prosecutors said in 2016, Hilliard posted on YouTube a videotaped post-arrest statement by her son’s co-defendant, a social media share that all but outed the defendant as a snitch. She found the video in discovery material, and labeled it ‘NYC Brim Gang Member Snitching Pt. 1.’ when she posted it online. After the video was posted, the witness began receiving death threats.In another message, she said the witness was ‘giving up murders, victims, shooters and all … SMH.’ She said online that what she posted was just “the tip of the iceberg.” Hilliard’s son Tyquan is currently serving a 7-10 year prison sentence. Both Tawanna and Tyquan were charged with witness tampering. She pleaded not guilty and was released on $75,000 bond. She was also ordered to wear a monitoring bracelet on her ankle, stay off social media, and turn in her passport. Even worse, Tawanna was told not to have contact with any gang members, including her son. She’s scheduled to appear in court on August 27. Eeek!

According to NYDailyNews , 59-year-old Duane Johnson was sentenced to 3 years in prison yesterday after pleading guilty to criminal neglect and 3rd degree murder of his 69-year-old wife Debra Johnson. See, Debra lived in a nursing home and she told Duane she wanted to be removed so that she could die at home after some “partying”. The couple used meth for 5 days, had sex, and listened to their favorite song Quiet Riot’s “Metal Health”. Duane was found butt-a$$ naked next to his wife’s dead body back on January 24 this year. Debra’s autopsy revealed her cause of death as “methamphetamine toxicity”. Duane likely would have gotten more time but the judge gave him credit for the 201 days served. This case took place in Minnesota but if we didn’t know any better we’d swear it’s Florida.

Source: Patrick McMullan / Getty Kimora Lee Simmons Served With Papers In New Custody Battle Fans have always praised Kimora Lee Simmons for keeping good relationships with all of her exes, but apparently, something took a left turn in her post-relationship relationship with Djimon Hounsou . Back in June on Father’s Day, Djimon complained to paparazzi that he hasn’t been able to see his 10-year-old son in a long time, and now, he’s taking legal action to try and change that. Kimora was served with papers while walking down the street in Beverly Hills on Friday, notifying her that her ex was filing for joint custody of their child, Kenzo. Kimora maintains that Hounsou is just an absent father who rarely wanted to see his son, and that’s the only reason he hasn’t. Hansu’s filings took place on August 1, and indicate that he’s petitioning to establish a parental relationship–a step taken to officially establish who Kenzo’s parents are in the eyes of the law. That might be necessary, since he and Kimora were never legally married. Included in the docs is the fact that Djimon is seeking child support, a custody arrangement with Kimora, along with visitation rights. He is requesting joint joint legal and physical custody between both parents and asks for both parties to have equal time with the child. If the Baby Phat founder is keeping her son from his father, it could be for fear that he might take Kenzo back to Africa with him and never return. Russell Simmons told TMZ that he offered Hounsou a visit with Kenzo just a few days ago, saying that he would take his son to him as long as he signs a document promising not to take the kid to Africa.
