Messy, messy, messy… Toya Wright Talks Tamar Braxton Fallout In New Book Remember when we told you that Toya Wright’s got a new book where she shares a love text from Lil Wayne ? Well in addition to that, “In My Own Words…My Reality” also discusses the recent fallout between Toya and Tamar Braxton. After years of friendship and Tamar defending Toya from K. Michelle , the two are apparently no longer friends. Why? Because Tamar was allegedly none too pleased that Toya appeared on “The Real” after she was unceremoniously fired, so much so that she unfollowed her AND Monica for appearing on the show. Furthermore Toya wonders in her book if someone had her banned from “The Real” considering that she was NEVER invited to be a guest until AFTER Tamar left. Via BallerAlert: My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there. After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be strange. I never had a convo with my homegirl about what happened to her and how she ended up leaving the talk show. All I knew is that she no longer worked there. Surely Tamar wouldn’t be that shady, riiiight? Toya also addressed being unfollowed by Tay Tay. I was able to release the cover art of my new book on the show. I was super excited! Little did I know, when I was done with the show I was gonna lose a friend and get unfollowed. It was news to my ears as I logged on to my social media accounts to see that I was tagged in all kinds of posts saying that myself and another friend were unfollowed for going on the show. Insiders Claim Rob And Chyna Are Faking Their Relationship After weeks of rumors of Rob and Chyna’s relationship being extra rocky — some even saying things are completely over — new reports are claiming that the two have agreed to fake a semi-happy union to keep reality TV checks flowing. “Insiders” tell InTouch Weekly that Rob is desperate not only to make cash of his own, but to compete with his highly successful sisters in the same game they perfected. They say Rob’s seriously focused on getting the $2 million payday his mom Kris set up for Rob & Chyna. “Rob wanted to make more money even if it meant pretending to be in a loving relationship. They are scrambling to hide the truth about their messy, twisted relationship.” And even though the facade is falling apart, Rob refuses to admit to the breakup. “It would be too humiliating. The lie has gotten so out of control.” However, Chyna has zero problems with keeping the lie going, because she’s finally achieving the mainstream fame and bigtime money she’s always wanted. “She wants to make millions from endorsement deals. She’s desperate to be as famous as the Kardashians.” If that’s so, her plan may be working. According to TMZ , Rob’s been back on his hermit flow — refusing to leave the house for days on end, and flaking on scheduled shoots. While they’re confident that “Rob & Chyna’s” ratings could go through the roof in a second season, especially with a new baby and a wedding, E! executives are scared to greenlight it for fear of losing out if Rob won’t film. Denzel Washington Charged With Choking Aretha Franklin Before you lose your mind, relax , take a deep breath, and peep game. A report in the NYPost states that Denzel Washington has accepted a plea deal for strangling Aretha Franklin. Thing is, it’s not THAT Denzel Washington and it’s not THAT Aretha Franklin. A man from Manhattan named Denzel Washington was charged with assaulting his mother, who just so happened to be named Aretha Franklin. The altercation happened inside the mom’s apartment in a doorman building on West 93rd Street, according to the Manhattan criminal complaint. “I am informed by Aretha Franklin,” the complaint says, “that she observed the defendant place his hands around her neck and apply pressure, thereby causing redness, bruising and substantial pain to her neck.” As part of the plea deal Washington will have to enroll in an anger management course. Tim Burton Explains Why His Movies Are Predominantly White Have you ever noticed Tim Burton ‘s movies lack a little melanin ? The director of such childhood classics as Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas is under attack for admitting his disdain for diversity. Tim recently sat down with Bustle to discuss his latest flick Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children , and says there’s a reason why his movies are predominately white . “Nowadays, people are talking about it more,” he says regarding film diversity. But “things either call for things, or they don’t. I remember back when I was a child watching The Brady Bunch and they started to get all politically correct. Like, OK, let’s have an Asian child and a black. I used to get more offended by that than just… I grew up watching blaxploitation movies, right? And I said, that’s great. I didn’t go like, OK, there should be more white people in these movies.” In Burton’s latest flick, Samuel L. Jackson stands out as the only Black actor to be included in the cast. Jackson recently added his own two cents about the mostly white stars cast in the film… “I had to go back in my head and go, how many black characters have been in Tim Burton movies?” Jackson says. “And I may have been the first, I don’t know, or the most prominent in that particular way, but it happens the way it happens. I don’t think it’s any fault of his or his method of storytelling, it’s just how it’s played out. Tim’s a really great guy.” We’re sure Tim Burton is a “great guy” but he can also be labeled a bigot as well.
