Elderly Mother Found Living With The Skeletal Remains Of Her Son How the hell don’t you smell your son’s body rotting?!? Via NYPost The elderly Brooklyn woman found this month living with the skeletal remains of her son, possibly for as long as 20 years, is a legally blind hoarder who may not have even known he was there, NYPD sources said. The chilling discovery of the skeleton was made Sept. 15 when a relative showed up at Rita Wolfensohn’s Midwood home to fetch her belongings and take them to her in the hospital. In a debris-choked second-floor bedroom, sister-in-law Josette Buchman found a “completely intact” skeleton, dressed in jeans, socks and a shirt, lying on its back on a thin mattress on the floor, police sources told The Post. “It’s like some reverse ‘Psycho’ scene,” a law enforcement source said at the time, referring to Hitchcock’s 1960 horror flick in which a son, Norman Bates, keeps his dead mother’s remains in a basement. *big-eye emoji* Authorities have not officially identified the body but believe the man was Wolfensohn’s son and that he died of natural causes. They would not provide a name. According to public records, Wolfensohn had two sons, Michael and Louis. Relatives said they had not seen Louis — who today would be 49 years old — in 20 years. Lawyer Demands Eric Garner’s Children Take DNA Tests Before Settlement The lawyer for Eric Garner’s illegitimate child has demanded that the kids of Garner undergo DNA tests to prove that they are his before dividing the $7 million settlement reports The Grio : Lorraine Coyle, who represents 2-year-old Legacy Miller, made the shocking demand on Wednesday. During a hearing behind closed doors at the Staten Island Surrogate Court, Coyle demanded the tests because Garner’s name does not appear on the birth certificates for the other children. Jonathan Moore, the Garner family’s lawyer, seemed shocked by what he called an “offensive” demand. “Why do that when there’s no reason to do that?” Moore asked the New York Daily News. “Everyone knows they are his children.” “I don’t think she (Coyle) would have said this if the Garner family had a different complexion,” Moore said. Coyle has argued that she is only doing her “due diligence” because she does not believe Esaw Garner’s reasoning for leaving her husband’s name off the birth certificates. Esaw Garner said that she had kicked Eric Garner out of the hospital because he was “getting on my nerves” when she was going into labor and added that as for the birth certificates, “It didn’t make any difference to him, he knew they were his kids.”

Kaepernick’s decision to sit or take a knee during the national anthem first drew attention after his team’s Aug. 26 preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, when he told NFL.com that he was “not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” Since then, Kaepernick’s continued protest has drawn considerable criticism from politicians, police unions, pundits, other professional athletes and many on social media who have opposed both his message and his method of conveying it. But the problem Kaepernick wants to highlight has continued. And on Monday, it was back in the news again, after police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, released multiple videos that showed the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher. Overall, police have killed at least 67 people since Kaepernick’s protest began, according to The Guardian’s database. Roughly 22 percent of the victims have been black. Police have killed more than 780 people so far in 2016, according to The Guardian’s numbers. At least 193 of those people ― or about 25 percent ― were black. Of the 15 black people killed since Kaepernick’s demonstration started, at least 11 were shot, according to The Washington Post’s tracker of fatal police shootings. The white officer who shot Crutcher, Betty Shelby, was placed on paid administrative leave while the department investigates the case ― another issue Kaepernick highlighted when he spoke out against police killings.
