Read the original:

Today Twitter introduced its new layout for Twitter.com. The design has been simplified to make it easier than ever to follow what you care about, connect with others and discover something new. You’ll see this new design both on Twitter.com and mobile phones, so that you’ll have a familiar experience any time, anywhere. Four new tabs bring you instantly closer to everything you care about. Visit fly.twitter.com to learn more about the changes. The redesign of Twitter will be rolled out over the next few weeks. You can see it immediately on the just-updated versions of mobile.twitter.com, Twitter for iPhone, and Twitter for Android. You can get early access on your computer by downloading and logging into Twitter for iPhone or Twitter for Android. Updates for other apps, such as Twitter for iPad, are in the works. Follow Us: @Hot1079atl , @Praise1025 , @majicatl The #NewTwitter homepage is the biggest difference with a Facebook Profile page look. As you can see in a screenshot of my profile page above, my personal image and bio are featured more prominently. The new Connect section is where you get in on the conversation. It’s the place to see who has followed or mentioned you, retweeted or favorited one of your Tweets. Connect is your way to keep the conversation flowing. Discover lets you tap into a stream of useful and entertaining information, customized just for you. When you use Discover, you’ll see results reflecting your interests—based on your current location, what you follow and what’s happening in the world. As you use Twitter more, Discover gets even better at serving up more content just for you.

The New NewsBusters: We’re Almost There

Great job, NBers! We’re now well past the halfway point in our fundraising effort. As of my writing this, we’ve raised $18,247 of the $30,000 we need to upgrade and improve the NB site. In the five years since we launched, NewsBusters has really taken off. Many of you have been with us for a long time now, and have helped us in our growth. This redesign is the next step on our upward trajectory. With your help, we will continue meeting unprecedented demand, and informing the nation of the specter of liberal media bias. Click here to check out some of the features we plan on implementing. If you haven’t given already, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution by clicking here . You can also click here to donate via PayPal (just make sure you enter “NewsBusters” in the description field). On behalf of everyone here at NB, thank you for your generosity and for your continued support as we expand and improve.
