High School Valedictorian Denied Diploma For Saying "Hell" in Graduation Speech

Kaitlin Nootbaar, an Oklahoma high school valedictorian, is being denied her diploma … because she said the word HELL in her May graduation speech. She graduated from Prague High School with a 4.0 GPA, but has been told she will have to submit a written apology in order to receive her diploma. “We went to the office and asked for the diploma and the principal said, ‘Your diploma is right here but you’re not getting it,'” her dad, David, recalled. “‘Close the door, we have a problem.'”

Myla Sinanaj on Kris Humphries: Just Friends… with Possible Benefits!

Myla Sinanaj thinks Kim Kardashian is a cruel bitch . But the random brunette has no harsh things to say about Kris Humphries, as evidenced today when she was deposed by Kardashian’s attorney as part of that estranged’s couples ongoing divorce battle. Insiders tell TMZ that Sinanaj testified to the following under oath: She never dated Humphries. She was never pregnant with his child. She has never received any money from him. Did she ever have sex with the power forward? Myla’s lawyer reportedly told his client not to answer that question. Sinanaj also said she never considered a lawsuit against Humphries for telling the FBI she made efforts to blackmail him. Which is all well and good… except she did. Attorney Joe Tacopina drafted a 26-page defamation suit on her behalf. It also came out during the deposition that Myla no longer works at the hotel where she and Kris met earlier this year. We have no idea why not. She’s clearly a model employee and human being.

Hilary Swank and John Campisi have broken up. A rep for the Academy Award-winning actress confirms that she and her boyfriend of five years have decided to end their relationship . The pair split earlier this summer, her rep said. The actress, who has spent the majority of the summer filming Mary & Martha in South Africa and Wilmington, N.C., and Campisi began dating in 2007. Rashida Jones was backtrackin’ Tuesday and is playin’ nice to keep the peace. After her comment during an interview on SpinningPlatter.com last week, the actress hit Twitter to publicly apologize for her comment: Promoting her romantic comedy “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” Jones revealed her admiration for Frank Ocean, the R&B crooner who opened up this summer about his relationship with another man. The interview noted that there’s still a need for high-profile folks to come out. Jones offered up Travolta. “A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this,” she said, referring to numerous massage therapists who have accused the “Savages” actor of making sexual advances. Rashida tweeted: “I made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Bethenny Frankel is taking pleasure in the pains of others. Unable to stop talking about her supposed marriage difficulties with Jason Hoppy, the talk show host tells In Touch that she’s grateful that the public breakups of other couples has diverted media attention. “It’s about Tom and Katie and Rob and Kristen,” the former Real Housewife tells the tabloid. “So they’re off of me right now!” This may be the first time in history that Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have been compared to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart . “It can be rough. It’s like anything else, you can have good days and bad days,” Bethenny added of her relationship. “Some days it can be brutal and you don’t want to talk about it or hear about it, and other days it’s light and bright. It’s the nature of the game.”

Jada Pinkett Smith is sick of the talk, the rumors and the innuendo. She wants to make it clear once and for all. “It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years: it’s rumored that we’re getting a divorce ,” the actress tells Essence of her marriage to Will Smith. “But no, we’re not getting a divorce. Where am I going to go? That’s my boo. It’s like he’s another part of me.” Chatter about her relationship is not the only personal matter Jada must deal with: she now faces critiques of daughter Willow Smith , whose music career has taken off. “How people feel about Willow is how people feel about Willow. But what I’m most concerned about is how Willow feels about herself,” Smith says. “She’s an independent, courageous, genius, talented little girl. I’m happy for her, that she can just be who she is.” Besides, the 40-year old has more important topics to worry about. She recently started a website – dontsellbodies.org – that focuses on the global fight against sex trafficking. “We’re all affected by this,” she says. “And one woman is one woman too many. We have to extend beyond ourselves.”

Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison to Enter Couples Therapy

Courtney Stodden is 17 and husband Doug Hutchison is 52. Clearly, these two are in need of couples therapy. Instead, they have signed up for Couples Therapy . TMZ confirms that the attention-starved duo will appear on the new season of this VH1 reality show , as the two have supposedly admitted there are “obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they’ve gotten because of their relationship.” Translation: we couldn’t get our own reality show . Courtney and Doug will join four other pairings – including Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen – on a series that pretends to provide actual advice for the suffering couples featuring on it.
