Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are reportedly dating. For real this time. According to reports, Depp, 49, and Heard, 27, have rekindled the fledgling romance that was quietly but repeatedly speculated about last year. Now it’s more open. The duo was seen holding hands and cozying up to one another at the Rolling Stones concert in Hollywood Sunday night. Last summer, Depp had recently split from his partner of 14 years, French model/singer Vanessa Paradis. Depp has two children with Paradis. Heard, who is openly bisexual, last dated photographer Tasya van Ree. After their respective breakups, The Rum Diary co-stars were quickly linked. Looks like real romance in the works now. Think they make a cute couple?
Former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash is trying to get all three of the lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct by him dismissed, citing statutes of limitations. He stands accused of inappropriate sexual relations with boys under the age of 18; Clash previously denied all of the allegations against him. Clash attorney Michael Berger wrote in a brief Friday: “There are two applicable types of statutes of limitations , a six-year one based on when the right of action has accrued, and a three-year one based on when the alleged victim turned 18 and was therefore no longer under the disability of being a minor.” According to Clash’s camp, both have lapsed. Cecil Singleton , the first to file suit against the former Sesame Street staple, said in court documents that his interaction with Clash occurred in 2003. He was 15 at the time. He stated that he wasn’t “aware he had suffered adverse psychological and emotional effects from Kevin Clash’s sexual acts and conduct until 2012.” The second plaintiff, who filed as John Doe, said in his suit that he was 16 when he had an inappropriate sexual relationship with Clash in 2000. A third plaintiff, identified only as S.M., charged in a complaint that he was “16 or 17” when he had sexual contact with Clash in the mid-1990s. Yet another man, Sheldon Stephens , accused Clash of similar behavior before settling out of court … then saying he wishes he hadn’t settled. Berger states in today’s filing that the three men suing Clash would have needed to file suit, respectively, in 2009, 2006 and 2001 to be within six years. Or, based on their respective ages, in 2009, 2003 and 2000, respectively as the latest possible dates to be within three years of them turning 18. All three suits were filed in November and December of 2012. Jeff Herman, who represents all three plaintiffs, tells E! News he doesn’t think a motion to “avoid liability on technical grounds” will be successful. “It should be noted his motion does not say the abuse did not happen, just that it is too late to file the complaints,” Herman told the network in response. “The law we are proceeding under recognizes the rights of victims to bring their lawsuits within six years from the time they connect their injuries to the abuse.” “We are hopeful the Court will see it our way, however, by being able to bring their claims forth publicly the victims are already further along in the healing process.”

All was can do is SMH at this guy and his comments… According to Raw Story: The president of Emory University, James Wagner has drawn criticism for using the Three-Fifths Compromise of 1787 as an example of what he called “pragmatic half-victories” in his latest column for the university’s magazine. “Some might suggest that the constitutional compromise reached for the lowest common denominator — for the barest minimum value on which both sides could agree,” Wagner wrote about the agreement between Southern and Northern states to count slaves as three-fifths of a person. “I rather think something different happened. Both sides found a way to temper ideology and continue working toward the highest aspiration they both shared—the aspiration to form a more perfect union. They set their sights higher, not lower, in order to identify their common goal and keep moving toward it.” Wagner’s invocation of the agreement as a “lesson of our forebears” was immediately criticized on social media on Saturday; Salon also called “shockingly horrible” ; and Gawker suggested that same day that The Affordable Care Act, the Voting Rights Act, or “Do all homework, you get to watch The Simpsons” would have been more appropriate examples of political compromise. As stated in Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the U.S. Constitution, the agreement mandated that, “Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.” The agreement was abandoned after the abolition of slavery, as mandated by the 13th Amendment. The “Stay” singer, 24, and Brown, 23, were “not at all on speaking terms” at the hotspot once they settled in with their respective pals, an observer tells Us Weekly. “She refused to sit with or even near him,” the witness adds. “When she noticed he was there, she made a huge show of rubbing her presence in his face.” “Happy Valentines Day,” Rihanna tweeted to her 28 million followers earlier in the day. “Today the day fa lovin not hatin so to cats like you and I it’s just another day…” As for Valentine’s gifts for Brown or any other loved ones, the Barbados beauty shared an Instagram snapshot revealing a different sort of bouquet from an unidentified admirer. “Roses are green!” she wrote beneath a photo of what appeared to be a maryjane plant, sent by an unidentified friend. “Somebody knows how to make me happy.” The scene was much different at the Grammys earlier in the week — where the pair (four years after Brown’s infamous assault of his then-love) nuzzled in their seats at the Staples Center, and were “very affectionate” at an afterparty. In advance of this evening’s emotional third season-ender, MTV has announced the official premiere date for Teen Mom 2 Season 4. And it’s hella soon! Jenelle Evans , Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer Calvert, and Kailyn Lowry return in just two weeks. February 18 marks the start of the fourth season. A two-hour reunion special hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky will air next Monday, February 11, before Season 4 gets underway. Will that season be its last? Last week, multiple sources erroneously reported Teen Mom 2 canceled already, while others said it is “definitely on its way out” after Season 4. The reason, of course, is the drama surrounding Jenelle Evans, who may be “too much of a liability” due to drug, legal and other personal problems. MTV denied axing the show, but said in a statement regarding the show’s future: “No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2.” The fab four has come a long way in three seasons. Leah Messer married Corey Simms, then divorced him and married (and got pregnant by) Jeremy Calvert. Kailyn Lowry just married Javy Marroquin. Jenelle … goodness, that’s a whole separate section on our site. Only Chelsea Houska has gone the whole time without major upheaval in her life.

The already-intense NASCAR Sprint Cup race took an unexpected and violent turn this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway when a melee broke out in the put. There was no love lost between Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer, who bumped cars several times … and whose teams erupted into a fight. Following some unpleasant run-ins with Bowyer this year, Gordon appeared to get even with Bowyer by slowing down and purposefully clipping his rear fender. That incident sent both cars careening into the wall, then sent the pit crews of the respective drivers into a frenzy as pushing, shoving and fisticuffs ensued. Gordon was quickly ushered away from the fight, but the chaos continued unabated for some time; it’s unclear what punishment(s) the perpetrators may face.
