Amanda Knox is going strong with her boyfriend, James Terrano. As her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito ‘s book detailing their romance and jail time hits stores, Amanda and James have been spotted in their native Seattle, going for walks, working on dance moves and having drinks together. Here’s a photo of the couple … In Sollecito’s novel Honor Bound: My Journey to Hell and Back with Amanda Knox , he says he felt “indescribable joy,” as they were acquitted of killing Meredith Kercher. Amanda was sobbing, and he said the former lovebirds had a “private moment in the basement of the courthouse, waiting to be taken back to prison one last time.” Raffaele said that his then-girlfriend, who had been dubbed “Foxy Knoxy” by the press, ” squeezed his hand and said she couldn’t wait to see her home and friends.” They didn’t get back together, however. In the week since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds exchanged vows, their fans have seen next to nothing of the gorgeous, super-private newlyweds … until now! Check out this photo that surfaced of the two of them kissing the day after they got married in South Carolina. They look very much happy and in love. Also, it looks like Blake’s wedding ring is not small … The ring, which was designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, has not been present in any photos from the set of Gossip Girl , which Blake films in New York. Days after launching an injunction in a civil case against Closer magazine, Kate Middleton and Prince William have filed a criminal complaint in a French court. Seeking justice against those who disseminated Kate Middleton topless photos last week, the complaint asks prosecutors to charge the paparazzo behind the shots. Of course, there was no name listed in the royals’ criminal complaint, as it’s unclear who was responsible for taking the pics published in the celebrity gossip mag. Under French law, those convicted of violating Will and Kate’s privacy – the unnamed paparazzo and Closer ‘s editor, in theory – could face thousands of euros in fines. A possible one-year jail sentence is also on the table, albeit unlikely. As it happened, Closer removed the pics from its website on Friday shortly after being sued, and before the criminal complaint was even filed by the royals. However, Closer ‘s Italian sister publication, Chi, ran a 26-page spread today of Kate Middleton nude and topless images, many of them the same as Closer ‘s. A statement released by Mondadori, the group that owns Chi and Closer, defended the decisions made by the respective editors to run a report on the pictures: “The publisher respects the arguments put forward by the editors.” Watch Closer ‘s editor stand by the decision after the jump …
Smashed has been built up as Mary Elizabeth Winstead ‘s career-maker — a character-driven piece about an alcoholic woman entering AA — although time will tell if the addiction dramedy has the mojo to muscle in on the awards race with folks like Marion Cotillard and Jennifer Lawrence hogging all the buzz with their respective festival hits. But take a look at the first Smashed trailer and four additional clips, co-starring Aaron Paul, Octavia Spencer , Megan Mullally, and Nick Offerman (courtesy of Sony Classics ) and get to early prognosticating on Winstead’s chances. Paul threatens to be a force as well, with that constant crackling energy of his. Hell, everyone in this ensemble is pretty fantastic in their own right (see following clips for scenes with Paul, Mullally, and the erstwhile Ron Swanson) though for my money the scene below of Winstead’s Kate going from flip to crushingly emotional in the span of a single shot as she introduces herself at an AA meeting is the most powerful and telling sign yet that this is a big moment for Winstead. New York State Liquor Authority charges W.i.P. with 17 violations, saying the club poses a ‘threat to public health and safety.’ By Rob Markman W.i.P. nightclub Photo: The fall-out from June 14’s bottle-bashing brawl reportedly between Drake’s and Chris Brown’s camps continues. On Tuesday, The New York State Liquor Authority ordered an emergency suspension of W.i.P.’s liquor license, the club where the incident took place. W.i.P., with its adjacent (and affiliated) club Greenhouse, were both slapped with 17 separate violations. The New York Daily News is reporting that R. Kelly, New York Knicks basketball star Iman Shumpert and the cast of the upcoming film “Savages” all had scheduled parties at the clubs, but now will have to look for new venues. “The SLA will not tolerate violent bars that break the law,” SLA Chairman Dennis Rosen said in a press release obtained by MTV News. “This should serve as a message that this agency will not hesitate to take immediate action when licensees pose a threat to public health and safety.” The release cites 10 separate assaults and altercations at the two clubs, the earliest occurring on March 11 and the latest being the bottle-throwing incident which left quite a few patrons injured, including NBA star Tony Parker , who is now suing the club for $20 million after he suffered a cut in his left eye. While both Drake and Chris Brown and their respective entourages have been implicated in the brawl, police have yet to charge any of the men with a crime.
