On last night’s season premiere of Khloe & Lamar , Khloe Kardashian went out of her way to spice up the couple’s sex life, including the (failed) installation of a swing in her bedroom. (See below.) But despite Lamar Odom’s rejection of his wife’s advances, Khloe made it clear to The Associated Press in an interview prior to the episode: “We’re enjoying each other, we have a very active love life.” Phew . We can all rest a lot easier now. Khlor & Lamar Season Premiere Clips: All About Sex Khloe also talked about Lamar’s sudden trade to the Dallas Mavericks and how that will be handled on episodes to come. “Moving in general is stressful, so moving to a state that I’ve never been is stressful,” she said. “Then when your husband’s having a very emotional transition, that’s like adding one more layer to this. Then I’m having the camera crew film and for them, they love it. They’re like, `This is gold!’ I’m like, `Can’t you just leave us alone for one week?’ But, you know, that’s what you know we signed up for.” Finally, to the surprise of many, the only Kardashian sister with any personality also talked at length about quasi brother-in-law, Scott Disick . She had mostly positive things to say about him. “I’ve definitely noticed a change and he’s trying. He’s a great dad,”Khloe said. “I’ve definitely noticed a growth in him. And there was so much other drama going on [with Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries], I think it made him look better, too.”
Jennifer Aniston had producers cut out a nude scene from her upcoming film Wanderlust for the sake of her new relationship with boyfriend Justin Theroux, reports say. According to The Wrap , the actress wants Theroux alone to be able to see her naked, so she had a scene where she flashed her bare breasts taken out of the movie. The 43-year-old star reportedly had her forthcoming topless scene changed, so when she flashes TV news cameras in a scene, her breasts are now shown pixilated. According to a source : “When the film was edited with the frontal nudity in it, Jen pleaded for an alternate version due to her blossoming relationship with Theroux. The two met on the set of the film and are now cohabitating. A Universal spokeswoman denied that Jen had her topless time changed: “The scene was shot a bunch of different ways, and we have the best possible version.” Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to nudity, of course, appearing almost topless in Horrible Bosses and getting snapped in the buff for Rolling Stone and GQ . The Throne will finally premiere the visuals for their Watch the Throne single Thursday at 12:05 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Nadeska Alexis Jay-Z and Kanye West Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/ WireImage Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne Tour swept North America last fall, and one highlight of the large-scale production was the duo’s multiple performances of their hit single “N—as in Paris.” When the Throne rolled through Vancouver in December, they played the song a record 11 times, and on Thursday, they will finally roll out an official video to accompany the single. The video will hit MTV.com at 12:05 p.m. Thursday and will feature footage from the Los Angeles stop of their Watch the Throne Tour. During that Vancouver show, the Throne performed “Paris” for 40.25 minutes, according to Rolling Stone, while the average time per date was approximately 18 minutes. Thus far, the Throne have released only one video to accompany their album. The Spike Jonze-directed clip for “Otis” premiered in August with a brief cameo from comedian Aziz Ansari, but a bulk of the video found ‘Ye and Jay taking a chainsaw to a Maybach , which they then filled with models. During an interview with MTV News last summer, producer Hit-Boy explained how he crafted the popular “Paris” beat . ” ‘N—as in Paris’ came about from me having a beat idea already. When I went to New York, I just further went into it,” Hit-Boy said of linking up with the Throne. “It was just a batch of beats. Kanye asked me for some beats, and that was one of the beats I gave him. … [Kanye and Jay-Z] actually went over to Paris; I didn’t get to make that trip. Born to Die singer hits back at critics, saying, “I thought I looked beautiful and sang fine.” By John Mitchell Lana Del Rey on “Saturday Night Live” Photo: NBC Lana Del Rey was raked over the Internet coals following her January 14 performance on “Saturday Night Live.” Her takes on “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans” were greeted with near-universal vitriol from critics, music bloggers and even NBC News anchor Brian Williams, who in a now-infamous email to Gawker Media founder Nick Denton called her performance “one of the worst outings in ‘SNL’ history.” But the emerging pop star, whose debut album for Interscope, Born to Die, hit stores Tuesday (January 31), thinks she did a perfectly fine job on the legendary sketch show, telling Rolling Stone, “I actually felt good about it. I thought I looked beautiful and sang fine … I know some people didn’t like it, but that’s just the way I perform, and my fans know that.” Del Rey did admit to being nervous, though in a more general sense, saying live performance has never been her strong suit because she is “not a natural performer or exhibitionist” and that when she was younger she “hated the focus; it made me feel strange.” As the backlash intensified, Daniel Radcliffe, who hosted the January 14 show, came to Del Rey’s defense, telling reporters at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominations, “It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly. I also think people are making it about things other than the performance … if you read what people are saying about her online, it’s all about her past and her family and stuff that’s nobody else’s business. I don’t think [the performance] warranted anywhere near that reaction.” Del Rey echoed those same sentiments during her brief sit-down with Rolling Stone, chalking the intensity of the criticism up to people’s general disdain for her public persona. “There’s backlash about everything I do. It’s nothing new,” she told the music mag. “When I walk outside, people have something to say about it. It wouldn’t have mattered if I was absolutely excellent. People don’t have anything nice to say about this project.” Regardless of the criticism, Del Rey is moving forward. Whether she’s a particularly strong live performer or not, her Born to Die album is enjoying a mostly positive reception from music critics … those able to set aside their feelings about her as a public figure and focus on the music itself anyway. Slate ‘s Jonah Weiner commented that he liked the album more after a few listens: “The more time I spend in its company, the more I feel as though I’m approaching it on something like its own terms.” MTV News’ own James Montgomery appreciated Born to Die even more, writing that Del Rey’s set is “positively brimming with atmospherics — soaring, sonorous strings, echoing electronic boom-bap, morose, maudlin guitar crescendos — all of which imbue it with a truly epic (if not unnecessarily dramatic) scope.” The verdict on Del Rey’s musical future — and the impact the “SNL” fiasco and the endless think pieces that popped up in its aftermath — will likely come more sharply into focus this time next week when her first week sales figures are released. Like other famous Democrats, Jon Stewart is not pleased with Barack Obama. In the wake of Matt Damon expressing disappointment with the Commander-in-Chief, the Daily Show host has come out in the latest issue of Rolling Stone and said, above all else, he’s simply confused by the President. “I’m not sure what he truly thinks is the right path,” Stewart tells the magazine . “Other than that he believes the wealthy should pay a little bit more of their fair share.” Adds the comedian: “He ran on this idea that the system and the methodology are corrupt,” he says. “It felt like the country was upset enough that he had the momentum needed to re-evaluate how business is done. Instead, when he got elected, he acted as though the system is so entrenched that it has to be managed… I’m surprised at how much he deferred to the legislative process.” Stewart’s feelings on Obama are in stark contract to how he views Bruce Springsteen. “You would go see his show and he would blow your fucking mind for four hours. At a certain point, you’d want to go up onstage and be like, ‘Guys! It’s OK. I got my money’s worth, like, two and a half hours ago. Save yourself! I don’t want you to burn out,. You’re giving too much! We do not deserve what you’ve done here tonight! A lot of us are jackasses!”

By James Montgomery Red Hot Chili Peppers Photo: MTV News In one of the first stories written about the Red Hot Chili Peppers ‘ I’m With You, Rolling Stone ‘s David Fricke referred to the disc as the band’s “comeback album,” a phrase that would seem to make sense to most people, considering it was not only the band’s first effort in five years, but also their first since the departure of longtime guitarist John Frusciante . It should be noted, however, that RHCP frontman Anthony Kiedis is not “most people.” Because to him, while I’m With You comes after a lengthy two-year hiatus and an even longer bout of soul-searching. “It’s the first time the band took more than a couple months off probably in the last 10 years,” new guitarist Klinghoffer said. Anthony Keidis told us he feels like RHCP are a “new band” on I’m With You. While they never seriously considered calling it quits, even Kiedis will admit that the Peppers’ break was necessary. In fact, it probably helped save the band. Because when they finally emerged from their hibernation, with a new member and a new lease on life, they were rejuvenated, reloaded and — most important of all — reborn. Which is why, though Kiedis won’t call I’m With You a “comeback album,” he’s got no shortage of other adjectives to describe it and the newfound joy it’s brought him and his bandmates. “It does feel incredibly fresh, and I feel as excited or more excited about this period — from the writing to the recording to the playing to the anticipation of going on tour — as I’ve ever felt about anything that we’ve done, from the beginning,” he said. “Sitting here, doing these interviews, listening to Josh, I often just go into a daydream of playing these songs live, and it’s the same feeling that I got in 1983, when I couldn’t sleep the night before a show, and if I did fall asleep, I would have a surreal little dream about the show itself; and, you know, I still have that feeling about this record and the inevitability of playing live, and kind of dreaming of set-list possibilities. … It’s a good feeling.” Related Videos MTV First: Red Hot Chili Peppers Related Artists Red Hot Chili Peppers
