According to Pop Culture , the snapshots shared by the MTV star revealed just how she got an instant makeover with NBR extensions. “HUGE thank you to [Stephanie Gerber] in Novi Michigan!” Lowell began her post while publicizing her before and after photo. “She absolutely KILLED these NBR extensions on me and the color is to die for.” NBR extensions AKA “natural beaded rows” are extensions placed in rows within the hair by creating a “track” with an exclusive bead and string technique. A day after Felcity Huffman pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud, we have an update on the other big name associated with this recent college admissions scandal. What does the future hold for Lori Loughlin? According to TMZ insiders, it will almost definitely include the inside of a prison cell. This typically-reliable website reports that Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli have been offered a plea deal. Prosecutors are fine with the couple not going to trial, but they are decidely NOT fine with the stars agreeing to any sort of arrangement that doesn’t include time behind bars. As previously reported, these lawyers are intent on making an example out of the wealthy defendents who were arrested back on March 12 for allegedly scheming and bribing their kids’ way into college. In Loughlin’s case, prosecutors are offering her a plea bargain that involves a minimum of two years in jail. And here’s the thing: if these federal attorneys are offering prison time as a plea , and Loughlin turns it down, one has to imagine that they will only seek even more years in the clink if Loughlin turns it down. No word yet on whether the Fuller House actress is willing to agree to such terms. Huffman, meanwhile, will be sentenced at a later date for her guilty plea… … but prosecutors have only recommended around four months in jail for this actress, with a judge eventually having the final say on her punishment. Why the stark difference between Loughlin’s potential sentencing and that of Huffman? It’s simply a matter of degrees. Felicity has admitted to paying $15,000 to someone who helped arrange extra time for her daughter to take the SAT; along with a proctor actually going in and changing the teenager’s test score. Terrible and illegal, for sure. However, Loughlin and her husband are accused of shelling out $500,000 for an even crazier and ridiculous scheme: They supposedly used this money to bribe officials at the University of Southern California, working with an employee at the school to pretend that their two daughters were athletic recruits who were on the crew team in high school. This was simply not the case, however. By using her wealth and status to get her children on an athletic recruit list, though, Loughlin was able to lower their admission standards and – presto! – they were granted entry to USC. Based on video evidence, meanwhile, it doesn’t appear as if Loughlin had any regrets about taking this action. It’s also clear that Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade , knew all about the scheme — considering the willingly posed in a fake crew uniform in order to pass herself off as a recruit. In a statement released yesterday, however, Huffman swears her child was in the dark. This is what she said after pleading guilty: I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions. I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her. This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.

According to U.S. News , a huge percentage of students enrolled in Indiana’s Elkhart School District receive free or discounted prices on cafeteria food during the school week. The resources provided ensure that the children don’t go hungry. Thanks to a partnership created with Cultivate Culinary School & Catering and other food-service providers, the school district is launching a program to send students home with prepared but unserved food from the cafeteria & other local catering companies. “Mostly, we rescue food that’s been made but never served by catering companies, large food service businesses, like the school system,” Cultivate’s Jim Conklin explained. “Over-preparing is just part of what happens. We take well-prepared food, combine it with other food and make individual frozen meals out if it.” The pilot program will do a test run by giving 20 students eight meals every Friday to be taken home for the weekend.
Lori Loughlin is best known for her role as Aunt Becky on Full House. But it now seems clearer than ever that she may end in in the proverbial big house. The actress, along with fellow star Felicity Huffman, appeared in front of a federal judge in Boston on Wednesday, April 3, regarding the pair’s alleged roles in the nationwide college admissions scandal that continues to rock the country. It’s been widely expected ever since Loughlin and Huffman were indicted by the FBI that the women would come to some sort of plea bargain with authorities. But even if this ends up being the case, TMZ talked to legal insiders who believe prosecutors will still push for jail time. “You can’t have people being treated differently because they have money. That’s how we got to this place. Every defendant will be treated the same,” says a TMZ source about Loughlin and Huffman. The judge today told all defendants – including Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli – that they face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison, three years probation and a $250,000 fine. A day earlier, all 13 defendants were subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud. Loughlin and Giannulli were taken into custody last month after they were accused of paying bribes to ensure that their two daughters were accepted into the University of Southern California. Their scheme worked and the teenagers did earn admission… … but they are reportedly now leaving the school in the wake of this controversy. Both actresses cited here were recorded on wiretapped calls discussing the scandal with ringleader William Rick Singer. Huffman and her famous husband, William H. Macy, allegedly paid $15,000 to Singer in order to participate in a college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of their oldest daughter, Sofia Grace. In this instance, she was given twice the amount of time to take the SAT as other students. The FBI believes the proctor corrected her answers. As a result, Sofia scored 1420 on her SAT, an improvement of approximately 400 points over her PSAT. All through some convoluted and really awful cheating. Loughlin, meanwhile, has come under even more scorn and derision from the public. According to court documents, she and Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 “in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” They actually posed their kids in fake crew team uniforms and pretended the girls were members of a high school squad in order to get them on a special admissions list with lower standards. It’s widely assumed that Olivia Jade, a social media star in her own right, was well aware of the scandal at the time. She has reportedly cut ties with her parents following their arrest . In total, 47 people were charged by the feds in what they amazingly dubbed Operation Varsity Blues. According to these same legal documents, the actresses and others allegedly paid as much as $6.5 million to get their kids into various schools; including Yale, Stanford, Georgetown and USC. In all, the feds uncovered about $25 million in bribes. That’s insane! Also insane? Some fans were lining up to get autographs from Loughlin outside the courthouse today. Come on, people.
