I wasn’t on the internet this weekend, only because I was getting so fucking drunk that my nervous system is still fucked, shaking, confused, nightmares of losing my last remaining teeth, you get what I’m saying…. But I did log into facebook at least once, looking for internet pussy, to make it all okay, and this video from June 3 was making the rounds. I saw it 10 times in 3 minutes, clicked through to see it had 4 million views, that have become 5,000,000 views, and I’ll tell you this, as funny a concept as shitty, creepy dating site videos is, this is totally fake, staged and a hired actor. If you think otherwise, you’re an idiot. It’s gotta be her school project for her MBA or maybe her acting reel, or something, anything that’s not legit. Now let’s get on with our day…and stop posting this on my facebook feed…it makes me want to cut the bitch with my dick. To See The Video FOLLOW THIS LINK
Rick Ross is currently enjoying being one of the top hip hop artists in the game right now, but we all had to start somewhere. We all now know that Rick Ross was once a corrections officer, however I believe being a corrections officer requires some type of education or at least obtaining a few credits, right? The Maybach Music Group CEO graduated from Carol City Senior High School and later attended historically black college Albany State University in Albany, Georgia on a football scholarship. ‘Scotty is a genuinely nice kid, a good Southern boy,’ one classmate tells MTV News. By Gil Kaufman, with reporting by Tami Katzoff Scotty McCreery performs during his hometown visit in Garner, North Carolina Photo: Steve Exum/Getty Images There are so many unusual things about “American Idol” finalist Scotty McCreery: his signature microphone technique, his preternatural ease onstage and, oh yeah, the fact that’s he’s both a kick-ass baseball pitcher for his high school team, the Garner Trojans, and one of the key members of Garner Magnet High School’s vocal ensemble, Die Meistersingers. Alec Hulmes, 17, has known McCreery since preschool, and they’ve lived in the same neighborhood and played baseball together their whole lives. On the eve of Scotty’s top-three performance, he told MTV News that ever since they were in elementary school, he remembers McCreery singing Elvis tunes on the bus while doing that “little eye thing.” And while they were amused, Hulmes said they often complain, “Dude, Scotty, shut up for one second! Just shut up! Stop singing!” But since McCreery’s epic run on “Idol,” things have changed. “Now every time he sings, it’s like, ‘Go ahead, Scotty, keep going, keep going!’ ” Hulmes laughed. The school’s “blue crew” started out as a student cheering section for football and basketball games, but over the past few months, it has transformed into an all-Scotty cheering section. The town of 27,000 just outside Raleigh, North Carolina, has also gotten fully behind their favorite son, with billboards, signs, banners and viewing parties. Garner Magnet High School student Jay Booth, 17, who has known Scotty since freshman year, said that these days, you can’t walk 15 feet in town or at their school without seeing some McCreery-boosting paraphernalia. There’s a packed-to-the-rafters viewing party in the school gym every Thursday night and announcements throughout the week reminding students to vote for Scotty. Check out Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina ‘s hometown visits! “I think Scotty is a genuinely nice kid, a good Southern boy,” Booth said. “He always cares about everyone else and is respectful to others.” Before he was picked for the show, Scotty had talked to his pals about maybe doing “Idol” one day. “We didn’t think anything of it, because it seemed like such a farfetched idea,” Booth admitted. Once McCreery did try out and made the show, his teammates saw the huge reaction and realized that it could turn into a very big deal. Yes, there’s the fame and the TV love and the potential recording contract. But preschool friend Kyle Tobin, 18, said there’s another fringe benefit that would warm the heart of any 17-year-old boy. “He used to joke about not being able to pull women,” Tobin said. “But [ when he came home last weekend ], all you could hear was women’s voices.” He might seem like a quiet, unassuming Southern boy on the show, but Booth said during football and basketball games, Scotty was always the loudest fan, yelling his support for the home team and ripping off his shirt even in cold weather. “He’s normally a pretty quiet kid if you don’t know him very well,” Booth said. “So whenever you see him at a football game screaming at the other team, it’s pretty funny.” Considering that he’s already heard some original compositions that were “far beyond” Scotty’s 17 years, Booth predicted that if his buddy wins (actually, when he wins), McCreery will make a true roots country record that would stick to the style he’s fostered on “Idol.” Don’t miss “Idol Party Live” every Thursday at noon on MTV.com for analysis, celebrity guests and even some karaoke — get in the conversation by tweeting with the hashtag #idolparty! Education budgets have been slashed. Teachers are overburdened and underpaid. Now more than ever, parents need to offer a helping hand. According to a 2000 U .S. Department of Education Schools and Staffing Survey, 91 percent of teachers say lack of parent involvement is a problem in schools. Here are a variety of ways to get involved in your kid’s education and foster success in the classroom—whether you’re a stay-at-home mom with daytime hours to give, or a working parent with only evening hours to offer. 1- Become visible. As teacher I cannot tell you how many teacher parent conferences I have spent in my classroom alone. I just sit waiting for a parent to walk through the door. It isn’t because we haven’t told you. It was on the calendar at the beginning of the school year. We have called. We have sent letters home with the child and mailed them postal mail. So “show up”!Make time for parent/teacher conferences and go to awards ceremonies, concerts, carnivals, science fairs, book fairs, and curriculum nights. The older your child is, the more important it is for you to be there. Often parents back off when children enter middle or high school. Attending these events may be the only way you can plug in at these levels. 2- Communicate- We live in the world of technology. A simple email to reach out and find out how your child is doing is helpful. It also allows for a method of trouble shooting and weakness in your child’s work. I have no enjoyment in failing a student. I write my email in the front of your child notebook. I provide my cell as well. Most teachers do that as well. Homework now lives on a centralized web page for your child. Take a moment and look at the class page. You may be inspired by what you see. 3- Make yourself accessible. Even if you work outside the home, give your children’s teachers your direct contact information. I cannot tell you how many times a phone number supplied at the beginning of the year reaches an out of service line. It’s frustrating. If you’re at home but find yourself away often, give teachers your cell phone number. When teachers know you’re available, they’ll include you in much of what goes on at school.. The more you know, the better equipped you’ll be to help your children succeed. 4- Understand what is going on at school. Too often we go into school with an agenda based on our convenience. Set aside your preferences and ask yourself: How can I best support my children this year? and How can I best support their teachers? For some, working at the school isn’t feasible. But the time you spend talking to your kids about what they do in school and how they feel about it is just as important. Ask your children to set some goals for their school year. Offer whatever support they need to reach those goals. Then ask their teachers, “How can I best help this year?” Do not assume that the whole truth has been told in a situation. I cannot count the times I had an angry parent suddenly appear because they felt their child was harmed. After the yelling ceased and I pointed out the real crux of the matter there was a new approach. 5- Stay aware . At times, we’ve missed deadlines or a overlooked piece of homework or two, can cause problems! I say “we” because as the grown-up, you need to supervise the contents of your child’s backpack It is in the sudden changes in your child that you spot the ship going off course. Stay aware. Remember the Titanic wasn’t sunk by one big gash but by numerous small gashes Remember that teachers cannot do it all alone. We need your support as a parent to work in partnership with us.
