The “Basketball Wives” beauty took to Twitter to thank God for another year… Then she took to the NYC streets to celebrate with friends. Monday night Jennifer Williams celebrated her birthday with a dinner at Millesime, the seafood brasserie at The Carlton Hotel in NYC. The former star of VH1’s “Basketball Wives” and ex-wife of NBA star Eric Williams, she was joined by friends Including Al Reynolds, Isaiah Washington and Angela Yee, among others. The group started off the dinner with the restaurant’s Caesar grille salad and enjoyed pan roasted chicken breast and tuna steak as mains with sides of creamed spinach and broccolini. Boosie ain’t got to jail for this… Rapper Webbie has been arrested for battery and robbery after allegedly kicking a woman down a flight of stairs and filching $340 from her pocketbook but Web tells us, none of it’s true. Via TMZ reports : According to a police report filed in Baton Rouge, LA, Webbie is accused of attacking a woman inside a Chase Suite Hotel early this morning after being banned from the premises — kicking her down two sets of stairs before swiping her purse and stealing $340 in cash. The details surrounding the altercation are unclear. According to the report, Webbie was arrested on the scene at approximately 2:30 AM. A rep for Webbie tells TMZ, the rapper met the woman behind the accusations at a party last night — but he never attacked her, or stole her money. The rep admits Webbie took money from the woman’s purse — but insists the money is his … and the woman in question had stolen it from him. The rep says Webbie — who was released today on $9,000 bond — plans to fight the accusations. If this ain’t savage life then we don’t know what is. Headbutts, drunks, kicking people down the stairs; we are really a society of classy people.

Going behind the scenes, she uncovers the trend of models’ skin bleaching, as well as a popular eyelid surgery and their struggles with transgender modelling. In the first episode of the new season, Ms Duboc heads backstage during Rio fashion week, explores the catwalks amongst shanty towns, and investigate a dicey racial issue, an emerging trend of transgender supermodels. In another episode in Kingston Jamaica, one model says to Ms Duboc, ‘You may not be able to have your food, but you’ve got to have your skin bleaching,’ and in Seoul, she follows models as they undergo eye-lid surgery in an effort to adhere to an ‘ideal look’ of westerners. Last season saw Ms Duboc unearth the cultural dynamics of fashion weeks in places such as Nigeria, Colombia, and Pakistan, where she watched and filmed a model getting a butt cheek implant. Vice Global Editor Andy Capper added: ‘Our expertise is not really in haute couture or in fashion, but in finding human stories behind them and luring people in with a tag like “fashion.”‘ The series airs on Vice September 13, where they will move from Rio Fashion Week through to the Caribbean and finally Tel Aviv, the last episode which airs December 13. Guess we’re not the only ones who thought Clint forgot to take his meds. In an interview with Black Enterprise President Barack Obama directly addressed criticism over his perceived lack of involvement in the African-American community. Peep how he handled it below: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn’t done enough to support black businesses? My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed. I want all Americans to have opportunity. I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America, but the programs that we have put in place have been directed at those folks who are least able to get financing through conventional means, who have been in the past locked out of opportunities that were available to everybody. So, I’ll put my track record up against anybody in terms of us putting in place broad-based programs that ultimately had a huge benefit for African American businesses. We think he handled the question well — any other answer might have opened the door for all kinds of bs from right wing conservatives. Of course it’s likely that known Obama haters like Tavis Smiley and Cornel West will jump all over this one — just cuz he wouldn’t rather be at a New Black Panther rally or something like they act like he should want to be.
