Happy Birthday! PYNK Magazine Celebrates Brandy’s Birthday in NYC

PYNK Magazine  hosted a #PYNKPowerDinner honoring singer/actress  Brandy , presented by Creme Of Nature. The event was filled with great music, good food catered from  Omar’s Kitchen , and good vibes from the VIP guests in attendance. The dinner was held at Harlem Haberdashery in NYC. Before the delicious appetizers and entrees were served, memories and kind remarks were shared amongst the guests about the  Chicago  star.  PYNK  founders  Mecca Moore  and  Meeka Claxton  reminisced on their first  cover shoot  with Brandy, emphasizing on how humble she was then and continues to be now. Sorry ladies… Lance Gross Marries Rebecca Jefferson Lance Gross recently tied the knot with his longtime love Rebecca Jefferson . The duo who welcomed a baby girl in November , tied the knot at L.A.’s Greystone Mansion Saturday…   as guests including Terrence Jenkins… and Kelly Rowland looked on. At the reception good times were had… and Lance surprised Becca with a serenade from Case for their first dance. Ain’t sweet black love grand?! Celebs Attend “Cutting It” Screening In Atlanta Last night, WE TV hosted a “blue carpet” premiere for upcoming reality series “Cutting It: In the ATL.” Over 400 guests showed up to the Woodruff Arts Center to catch a sneak peak of the first episode. Cast members Maja Sly, Mushiya Tshikuka, Beautii Joseph, Lakenya Morris and Dedra Allen hit the carpet amid a throng of excited fans and photographers, as well as celebs from Real Housewives of Atlanta , Love & Hip Hop Atlanta , and well-known Atlanta socialites. Beyoncé Shares Tina Knowles’ Wedding Photos Beyoncé gave fans a treat today when she shared photos from her mom’s lavish wedding to Richard Lawson. As previously reported Tina was encouraged to wed the actor by her granddaughter Blue who played flower girl at the ceremony and looked ‘oh so precious in white. Later the entire Carter clan kicked it at the reception where they busted out some moves… and Bey gave some loving to her mother-in-law Gloria Carter. BOSSIP’s Uncovering Gender Politics In Rap Business Comes To SXSW Music Festival BOSSIP’s Deputy Editor Janeé Bolden was in Austin last week for the SXSW Music Festival, where she moderated the “Gender Politics In Rap Business” panel which included esteemed speakers Devi Dev (IHeartMedia), Shanti Das (Press Reset Ent, The Hip-Hop Professional), Aiyisha Obafemi (Disturbing Tha Peace, Ebony Son Entertainment) and Whitney-Gayle Benta (SVP Talent Relations, Revolt TV). The hour-long panel which covered controversial issues including sexism, gender equality and the marketing of both female and male rap artists was well received by a near-packed audience who stayed beyond the planned hour to ask questions and continue the conversation. That’s the question that’s being asked after the Jenner was spotted sporting some bling on her ring finger. On Saturday Kylie was in London promoting Nip Fab skincare after being dubbed one of their global ambassadors. And as she walked the carpet, photogs zoomed in on an interesting ring on her left hand that looked like it could be a blinged out wedding band. But there’s no way Tyga would already be trying to marry Kylie riiiiight????
