Two things are rather clear at this point: Ashton Kutcher is dating Mila Kunis . Mila Kunis really is the Sexiest Woman Alive . Combine these two facts and there’s little wonder that an insider tells Us Weekly Moore is “not psyched” about her ex moving on with the gorgeous actress. “She was always insecure over the course of her marriage,” a friend says of Moore . “So, yeah, it’s hurtful that he’s with someone he knew the whole time he was with her.” Kutcher and Moore announced their separation about a year ago, after it came out he totally had an affair with Sara Leal , but the couple’s divorce is yet to be finalized. One anonymous sources tells the tabloid its due to the actor’s frugality. “He’s trying to get the best deal he can.” Ummm… he already has that. Have you seen who is bedding now?!?
Four years ago, Sarah Palin was a serious contender to become the next Vice President of the United States. Now, she’s reading celebrity gossip at KMart. At the retail establishment with her second-oldest daughter Willow, Sarah decided to check out the latest edition of the National Enquirer as the paparazzi watched. The tabloid, of course, features Bristol Palin on its cover. The title of the cover story: “Plastic Surgery Shockers.” Despite sporting a remarkable, almost unrecognizably different-looking face since 2009, the Dancing With the Stars hopeful has denied plastic surgery in the past. Regardless of whether she had work done, that’s a scary cover. Sarah must be so proud of her little girl’s inclusion on it, alongside her old foe Katie Couric. What do you think: Did Bristol get plastic surgery? Yes, and she looks ridiculous! Yes, and she looks hotter now! Unclear No, you guys are imagining things. Who cares! Stop being HATERS! View Poll »
In case the separation of Amy Poehler and Will Arnett didn’t ruin your belief in love, consider the following: Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have split. Entertainment Tonight confirms that the couple, which has been married 30 years and which has three children together, are going their separate ways. DeVito, of course, stars on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia , while Perlman recently had a recurring role on the HBO’s Hung . The stars’ rep did not mention the word “divorce,” so perhaps there’s still hope for one of Hollywood’s funniest, most long-term twosomes.
They may still get along better than most couples, but David Arquette and Courteney Cox are officially out of the marriage game: the actor filed for divorce from the actress today. In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Arquette cites “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for the twosome’s split. They were wed exactly 13 years ago today and share an eight-year old daughter named Coco. Cox and Arquette met on the set of the original Scream and rumors of their split first surfaced in October 2010 when the latter was accused of an affair and the stars released a statement saying: “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage.” Arquette proceeded to embark on a series of wild weekends and eventually ended up in rehab in January 2011. But Cox supported her husband throughout, going on record with how proud she was of David for seeking help. Neither side has bashed the other in public once and Arquette is not seeking spousal or child support in the divorce proceedings. [Photo: WENN.com]
Arquette and Cox have been separated for nearly two years. By Kara Warner Courteney Cox and David Arquette Photo: John Shearer/ Getty Images After nearly two years of separation, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are headed toward divorce. TMZ reports that Arquette officially filed divorce papers last week and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. According to the documents obtained by the website, Arquette is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Coco. He did not ask for spousal or child support and is apparently representing himself, as he did not list a lawyer. Also, it appears that Arquette signed the divorce documents on March 23 and only just decided to file them. Aside from his brief bit of oversharing about their relationship on Howard Stern’s radio show , Arquette and Cox have kept a relatively low profile since the news broke about their separation back in the fall of 2010. The former “Friends” star was quick to defend the behavior of her husband of 11 years during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last March. “If you didn’t hear the Howard Stern interviews and you just read quotes, I’m sure it seemed out of context, crazy,” she said. “I’m not saying there wasn’t some crazy behavior, but if you know who David is, you know what his intentions are, how honest he is, and how big his heart is. You can’t really get mad at David because he’s not a malicious person. He was dealing with things the best way he could. He’s not out to harm. But I’m his biggest protector. I can’t help it.” Cox and Arquette met on the set of 1995’s horror blockbuster “Scream” and recently reprised their roles in “Scream 4,” in which their married characters were also dealing with relationship problems. The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and his wife of over 18 years, Gwen, are divorcing. The couple announced their separation “after much heartfelt consideration” today. “Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate , our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children,” Chris and Gwen said in a joint statement Thursday. Harrison, 40, is best known for hosting ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette . In 2010, he was accused on-screen of hitting on a producer’s wife. At the time, he was hardly ruffled by the “cheap shot” of controversial contestant Rozlyn Papa . “I had nothing to hide,” he said. “My wife was there.” The couple live 35 miles from Hollywood with their kids Joshua, 9, and Taylor, 7. Harrison, who coaches both kids’ soccer teams, is “an amazing father,” Gwen says. “He’s very loving and involved.” He’s also amazing at his job. No word if he will also be the next Bachelor , but Harrison will be back running the show for its popular spinoff (see Bachelorette spoilers ) May 14. [Photo: WENN.com]
Heidi Klum has broken her silence since she and Seal announced their separation last week, Tweeting thanks to her supporters in the wake of her surprise split. The supermodel who hadn’t Tweeted since January 15, acknowledged those who’ve helped her so far through the split from her husband of over six years. “Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words,” Klum wrote . “[It] really means so much. Thanks again to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi” Seal, meanwhile, has given several interviews, and has described how he and Klum broke the news of their split to their children, while promoting his new album. The singer also recently said on CNN that a reconciliation may happen . Klum and Seal decided to part ways “after much soul-searching,” they said in a statement. “We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and we will continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.” A holiday trip in December was said to be the final straw for the couple. Congratulating the Boston Bruins on the 2011 Stanley Cup championship, President Barack Obama welcomed the team, with one notable omission, to the White House. Goaltender Tim Thomas, the team’s linchpin and only the second American player ever to win playoff MVP, having posted two shutouts in the Final, skipped the event . Thomas said months ago he would not attend due to political and ideological differences with the Obama administration, and he stayed true to his word yesterday. Bruins team president Cam Neely said he could’ve forced Tim Thomas to go, but did not do so, and feels the decision was Thomas’ and the team honors his choice. “Everybody has their own opinions and political beliefs. He chose not to join us,” said Neely. “We certainly would have liked to have him but that’s his choice.” “All the guys came except for Tim. It’s his decision and his choice.” While his politics aren’t common knowledge among many fans, Thomas hasn’t hidden his leanings as an unabashed Glenn Beck fan and “true Tea Party patriot.” On the one hand, when the President asks you to visit the White House event, shouldn’t you just go, regardless of political differences with the administration? On the other hand, should Thomas be praised – whether you agree with his views or not – for using a unique moment to make a political statement of his own? Thomas will no doubt lose a lot of supporters over this, but you have to at least respect an athlete who uses his fame or influence for something he believes in. Right? Mere hours after Heidi Klum and Seal confirmed their divorce, interviews between Seal and Ellen DeGeneres (airing today) and PBS’ Tavis Smiley (Friday) hit the web. The topic of his separation was not off the table. Not even close. About to embark on a new album tour, Seal is more than willing to openly speak about what shocked us – and himself, apparently. “I think we were shocked,” he said. Seal on Ellen “You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ”Till death do us part.’ Those vows hold value,” the singer told Ellen. “They are not just words. These things happen. We pretty much said how we feel and made it clear in the release statement.” “But, for intents and purposes of this show, you just grow apart after awhile. You try and you work through it and the thing that you quickly realize when you are married and you become a parent is you do the best that you can.” “It makes you actually appreciate your parents a lot more.” “The thing that I’m most proud about this great woman who married – and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart – is that together she has given me four incredible gifts, four beautiful children.
MTV News walks you through the garbled dialogue and intricate plot of the Batman teaser. By Kevin P. Sullivan Bane in “Dark Knight Rises” Photo: Warner Bros. Even two weeks after “The Dark Knight Rises” prologue debuted before select IMAX showings of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” everyone who saw it can’t seem to stop talking about Bane and what he says — or at least what people thought he said. Ever since the preview’s premiere, there has been talk of tweaking audio levels and lowering background noise in order to make Bane more intelligible. Just Tuesday, a rumor circulated that Warner Bros. had provided IMAX projectionists with an adjusted soundtrack for the prologue . Warner Bros. denied the claim, but talk of changes persists. If you’ve already seen the prologue, adjusting audio levels now won’t help you until the July release of the finished film, so we’ve gone over the footage and decoded each story element and every line of Bane’s dialogue for you. ( Major spoilers ahead! ) The Setup Most of the confusion about what’s going on starts before we even see Bane. We jump right into the story without much explanation of what’s going on. “Leaked” CIA documents, used as part of a viral campaign, fill in some of the blanks. Dr. Pavel, a missing Russian nuclear physicist, seeks asylum in the United States with the help of the CIA. Pavel believes he is in immediate danger and goes into hiding. A group of mercenaries find him and negotiate with the CIA to deliver the scientist over to them safely, at the cost of $3 million. The prologue begins with that exchange. Bane The mercenaries bring along three unexpected guests to the party with the CIA. The leader of the soldiers informs the head agent that the men work for Bane. Eager to learn more about the masked man, the CIA agent brings the three men onto the airplane but only promises safe passage to the one who talks the most. Bane then speaks his first line as the agent threatens his men. “Or perhaps he’s wondering why someone would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane.” Bane and the agent exchange some words, during which we get some background on his character. His mask keeps him from experiencing severe pain caused by a yet-unknown ailment. It also was what made people pay attention to Bane in the first place. “No one cared who I was until I put on the mask.” The Plan From here, we see Bane’s master plan play out. A large plane hooks onto the smaller one flown by the CIA and drags it into a nosedive. There’s a small fight inside, but Bane and his men win handily. They lower a dead body in a bag into the plane and perform a transfusion with Dr. Pavel, so when the wreckage is found, the DNA matches the missing doctor. As the group prepares to exit, Bane informs one of his younger partners in crime that he must stay behind in order to avoid suspicion. When the man asks Bane if they have started a fire, he replies with the now-famous line: “The fire rises.” Pretty straightforward, right?
