Rapper claims a friend accidentally sent tweet of department phone numbers, resulting in ‘overwhelmed’ lines. By Rob Markman The Game (file) Photo: Jason LaVeris/ Getty Images It’s no secret that Game has an itchy Twitter finger, and now a tweet from his account has landed him in hot water with the police. After a message appeared on the West Coast rapper’s Twitter asking aspiring interns to call the sheriff’s station in Compton, the station’s phone lines were flooded with calls. The resulting calls reportedly caused a delay in emergency services, including a missing person report, a spousal assault incident, two robberies and a stolen car incident. Now the sheriff’s department is looking to hit the rapper up with a series of charges. A press release issued to MTV News by the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department said that the phone calls started at about 5:23 p.m. PT on Friday (August 12) and didn’t subside until a few hours later, at 8. “These needless phone calls interfered with the ability of sheriff’s desk personnel to answer the business line phones and 9-1-1 calls, and for dispatchers to send help to people who really needed it,” said Captain Mike Parker of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau. “We don’t know how many people needed help but couldn’t get through the overwhelmed phone lines.” Parker tweeted the Game directly, alerting him that his initial call-out was jeopardizing public safety. Game, however, told TMZ.com that he wasn’t responsible for the tweet, and that a friend accidently sent the message from the rapper’s phone while he was at a photo shoot on Friday. The sheriff’s department is now presenting their case to the district attorney’s office in consideration of a criminal filing of three charges including annoying or harassing phone calls via electronic device or Internet, delaying or obstructing peace officers in the performance of their duties, and knowingly and maliciously disrupting or impeding communications over a public safety radio frequency. MTV News reached out to Game’s publicist regarding these reports and is still awaiting a response. Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ With Game, Diddy And Machine Gun Kelly Related Artists The Game
These people deserve to die a slow painful death, although we can’t imagine anything worse than what they already did to his babymama. Just weeks after the birth of their first child together, Grant Hayes and his new wife Amanda Perry allegedly murdered the mother of his three-year-old and one-year-old sons, hacking up the pieces with a saw and a machete before packing the parts on ice in coolers and driving them all the way to TEXAS in a U-Haul to throw them in a creek!!!!! Here are some details: Laura Ackerson, 27, vanished from Kinston, North Carolina almost two weeks ago. She was reported missing after she failed to pick up her two young sons from her ex-boyfriend’s house for a weekend visit. The beautiful young mother had been involved in an acrimonious custody battle with Grant Hayes, the father of her two children, who it emerged had a new baby girl with his wife barely a month ago. Here’s a photo of Laura with her sons Grant and Gentle: Police have now charged Hayes and his wife, Amanda, with murder after Miss Ackerson’s dismembered body was found in Oyster Creek, Texas, close to where Mrs Hayes’s sister lives. Hayes, a musician, had married Amanda Perry in March last year. They had a baby daughter, Lillian, on June 9 – just over a month before the murders. Chief Deputy Craig Brady of the Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office alleges Hayes murdered Miss Ackerson in North Carolina, and hacked her body apart using a saw and a machete. Records show the couple bought several ice chests and a U-Haul trailer just days after Miss Ackerson disappeared, and police claim they used them to transport her body to Texas, a drive of more than 1,200 miles. The couple then allegedly went out into the creek on a small 10-foot boat, dumping Miss Ackerson’s body piece by piece into the water – before driving back to North Carolina to see their newborn baby daughter. On Sunday detectives found pieces of Miss Ackerson’s torso in Oyster Creek, and the next day they retrieved her head and leg from the hot, swamp water. Officers also recovered a machete from an outhouse near where her body was found. How disgusting. SMH. These people ain’t sh*t. Was it really necessary to KILL the woman??? More details on the next page.

‘I don’t think you should deify any human being,’ ‘Harry Potter’ star told MTV News last year. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe Photo: Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images The transition from child star to adult star often comes with some hiccups. In a recent interview with GQ, “Harry Potter” actor Daniel Radcliffe admits that there was a time when he found himself drinking a little too much. “I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff,” he said of the time during shooting on 2009’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Since then, the 21-year-old has slowed down, telling the magazine that he prefers to have a “quiet life.” But Radcliffe has certainly been open about why he doesn’t see himself as a role model. Last year, he told MTV News, “I don’t look at myself as a role model. I would never place myself on that pedestal, obviously. If other people want to place me there, that’s up to them,” he explained. “I would advise them not to because I don’t think you should deify any human being. I think it’s something that I’ve grown more comfortable with the idea.” And despite his impressive career and all of the charitable work he has done with organizations like the Trevor Project, Radcliffe suggested someone else his fans should look to for guidance instead. “The thing I always say and I’ve often said in interviews, I think if people want a role model, Harry Potter’s a very, very good role model. And he’s something that won’t change,” Radcliffe added. “He’ll be fixed in that permanent lovely way, and so those are the role models you want. “I’m gonna grow old and get fat and stuff,” he added with a good-natured laugh. “And so you don’t want to make me a role model.” While Radcliffe tells GQ the paparazzi never caught him inebriated, when MTV News sat down with him, he did recall a certain pap shot of him smoking a cigarette that did get taken. But the star was willing to shrug it all off. “It’s a terrible thing to admit to, but yes I’m gonna go to help [for smoking]. That stuff, you know, is part and parcel of the job and it comes with the territory and you have to let it wash over you,” he said of the photographers. ‘We are hoping that Mr. Davis is released today,’ Gucci’s lawyer tells MTV News on Tuesday. By Rob Markman Gucci Mane in police custody on Friday, April 8, 2011 Photo: Dekelb County Sheriff Despite persistent rumors, Gucci Mane is not free — not yet at least. Gucci’s attorney, Ashutosh Joshi, told MTV News that the Georgia rapper (real name: Radric Davis) is still locked up in Fulton County Jail due to a probation violation , but he could be released later on Tuesday (July 5). “We are hoping that Mr. Davis is released today,” Joshi said. “He is scheduled to be released from Fulton County Jail. However, there are some procedural holdups between the county jail and the state prison as to whether Mr. Davis has to go back to the state prison before he can be released.” Joshi added that he has an order from a Fulton County judge that should ensure Gucci’s release. A Fulton County Jail rep confirmed for MTV News that there is a chance Gucci’s release would be put on hold and that there are instructions to send him up to Jackson State Prison. “There is an order from a Fulton County judge requiring that Mr. Davis serve his time at a Fulton County jail,” Joshi said. “So it is our hope and belief that once the county jail and the state prison are able to communicate — which we understand is occurring today, and once the state prison is aware of the judge’s order, that they will remove or release any hold they have on Mr. Davis and he can be physically released from the Fulton County Jail.” According to Joshi, after serving about two months at Fulton County, the “So Icey” MC was transferred to Jackson State Prison, but due to the short amount of time he had left on his probation he didn’t meet the minimum requirements to serve his time at Jackson State. As a result, Gucci’s legal team returned to the sentencing judge in Fulton County requesting an order requiring the rapper to serve all of his time in Fulton County. The judge agreed and Gucc’s lawyer is waiting for the state to get that message. Gucci was jailed in April after numerous unspecified probation violations stemming from a 2005 aggravated assault case. His probation from that case will be resolved after he is released, according to his attorney. Related Artists Gucci Mane
Why the hell are people bringing their babies to the crime scenes these days???? A 14-month-old girl was thrown from a speeding getaway car late Thursday night after the suspects were caught shoplifting at KMart, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to the KMart at 7325 Two Notch Road for a shoplifting call. “We know that three people went into the KMart with a child in the vehicle. We know that as they arrived at the KMart that they were there to shoplift,” said Captain Chris Cowan. When deputies arrived, KMart security had 21-year-old Courtney NaShawn Palmer in custody. Security officers told deputies that Palmer and another woman got into a scuffle with officers after being confronted and accused of stealing from the store. Deputies say a third woman, 22-year-old Kimberly Moody, was parked in the lot waiting in the getaway car when she noticed what was going on in the store, according to the sheriff’s department. After seeing what was happening, Moody decided to leave the premises in a hurry, according to deputies. ” She hit the accelerate,” said Captain Cowan. “She accelerated to a high rate of speed, sending a 1-year-old out of the back of the vehicle into the parking lot, causing serious injury.” The child was not restrained and the door was not secure, according to investigators. “Once she realizes the child’s been thrown out of the vehicle, she stops,” said Captain Cowan. “She and the other individual come running out of the KMart, picked the child up, put the child in the car, and then take the child to the hospital.” Deputy Curtis Wilson says the child has broken ribs, a collapsed lung and multiple abrasions and is currently in ICU at the hospital. Moody was charged Friday with unlawful conduct towards a child. Her bond hearing was held Friday night. Officers said she has since posted bail. Palmer was arrested Thursday night and charged with shoplifting. Palmer was arrested Thursday night and charged with shoplifting. Investigators say she tried to steal two bottles of body spray, a bottle of body wash, a stick of deodorant, a pair of earrings, and a pack of tissue totaling $29.61. A judge granted Palmer a $2,130 personal recognizance bond Friday morning. She also posted bail. A third arrest came Friday night, according to deputies. 20-year-old Courtney Nicole-Francetta Mace was charged with two counts of assault and battery as well as one count of unlawful conduct toward a child. Deputies said Mace is the mother of the child that was thrown from the vehicle Thursday. The mother of the injured baby, according to the deputies, was involved in the scuffle with the security officer. “We’ll continue to investigate,” said Captain Cowan. “We need to process witness statements. We need to continue to interview people, process surveillance footage, and once we do that, then we’ll make a determination whether somebody else will be charged and what those charges will be.” Truly sad…all this because they were trying to gank KMart for some deodorant and body spray. SMH. We hope that baby has a speedy recovery. Source
A crime scene investigator testified Friday he found the hair in Anthony#39;s car trunk near the wheel well after the Florida woman#39;s 2-year-old daughter Caylee was reported missing. It was just a strand of hair, but it could play a critical role in the murder trial of Casey Anthony. Gerardo Bloise of the Orange County Sheriff#39;s Office told the jury in the Orlando courtroom how he marked the hair as well as dirt, leaves and other debris in the trunk of the Pontiac Sunfire.
