A new report claims Kelly would like to release the project “imminently.” According to Billboard the album is complete but it isn’t clear how the accused sexual predator will release it now that he no longer has a record deal. “He has plenty of options, from going through an indie distributor or signing a deal with a new label to potentially uploading the project directly onto Spotify” the site states, “though a rep said Spotify’s direct-upload feature is still in beta and available to only a small number of artists, which does not include Kelly.” Sources who spoke with Billboard note that “while the music was recorded while the singer was under contract at Sony’s RCA Records, R. Kelly reclaimed ownership of his unreleased works as part of his agreement to leave the record label earlier this month.” Kelly’s team has reportedly been looking for a new distributor for months, reportedly even “before the Lifetime documentary came out.” As of right now, it’s looking like the project won’t drop as soon as Kelly had hoped , but we’ll continue to keep you updated. Earlier this month, millions of viewers were stunned by the Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly — which focused on the decades of sexual assault allegations against the singer. Now, it seems Michael Jackson is receiving the same treatment, via a four-hour documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival Friday night. The film, Leaving Neverland , focuses on the stories of two of Jackson’s accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck. As the doc has yet to secure a distributor and a wide release, it has thus only been seen by a select group of festival attendees. But if their reactions are any indication, Leaving Neverland may contain another scathing new information for the King of Pop to be forever stripped of his crown. “It only takes about two minutes into the four-hour documentary Leaving Neverland to realize that Michael Jackson’s legacy is never going to be the same again,” wrote Benjamin Lee in his review for The Guardian . “spoiler alert: Michael Jackson 100% sexually abused a lot of children,” tweeted IndieWire’s David Ehrlich. Shortly after the film’s release, Jackson’s estate issued a strongly-worded statement that was published in full on Rolling Stone ‘s website: According to Jackson’s reps, the film constitutes “the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death.” The statement continues: “The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact.” Now, Jackson’s family is also hitting back with a statement that questions both the integrity and the intentions of the filmmakers. “The truth is on our side,” writes the family. “Go do your research about these opportunists. The facts don’t lie, people do.” The statement continues: “We are furious that the media, who without a shred of proof or single piece of physical evidence, chose to believe the word of two admitted liars over the word of hundreds of families and friends around the world who spent time with Michael, many at Neverland, and experienced his legendary kindness and global generosity. “We are proud of what Michael Jackson stands for. “People have always loved to go after Michael. “He was an easy target because he was unique. But Michael was subjected to a thorough investigation which included a surprise raid of Neverland and other properties as well as a jury trial where Michael was found to be COMPLETELY INNOCENT. “Michael Jackson was and always will be 100% innocent of these false allegations.” The Jackson family’s statement can be read in its entirety here . Sexual assault allegations followed Jackson throughout his career, but none of the many accusers were able to help secure a conviction. The Jacksons have decried the film as a “public lynching” of a man who is no longer here to defend himself, while others feel that Leaving Neverland might finally provide a modicum of justice and peace of mind to the singer’s victims. Many are concerned about the effect the film might have on Jackson’s children, particularly his troubled daughter Paris, who reportedly refuses to watch the documentary. Michael Jackson has been dead for nearly a decade now. But the absence of this iconic singer has not prevented new and VERY disturbing allegations of child abuse from being leveled against the King of Pop. There's a new documentary coming to HBO that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival last week — it's titled Leaving Neverland and it focuses on Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck 40, both of whom claim Jackson abused them as children. The film delves deeply into these heinous charges, too. Such as what? We've listed many of them below, courtesy of what Robson and Safechuck say in this documentary. Be warned, however, many of these stories (if true) are legitimately horrifying… 1. We’ll Start with Robson He was five when he met Jackson after winning a dance contest on the Australian leg of the singer’s 1987 Bad tour. 2. The Misconduct Started Early Robson claims the abuse started when he was seven years old and Jackson introduced him to pornography and alcohol. 3. YIKES: Robson says the artist had a cardboard cut-out of Peter Pan in his bedroom, which he would look at while he masturbated behind him. 4. Who Was Safechuck? He was a young actor who was 10 years old when he struck up a friendship with Jackson after starring in a Pepsi commercial alongside the superstar. 5. A Jarring Confession Safechuck says he started staying the night in MJ’s bed on a frequent basis — and claims the star told him he had performed oral sex on him while he was asleep. 6. We reported on the singer’s dalliances with her back in 2016 when he brought the teenager with him to party at an Atlanta nightclub. Well friends of Halle say that Kelly grabbed her around the neck and threw her into a wall for allegedly looking at another man at his concert. This incident was said to be witnessed by both Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary. Two other violent incidents are also said to have taken place after Halle allegedly looked at a group of men leaving a hotel. It’s reported that Kelly slapped Halle for this. Folks near R. Kelly refute these allegations with the worst defense ever. Let his cronies tell it, Robert is non-violent and if he DID slap Halle then someone would have recorded it and sold the video. Kelly captive Joycelyn Savag e is still trying to reach his daughter. Tim Savage has revealed to DailyMailTV how his teenage daughter looked like a ‘prisoner’ during their disturbing last encounter more than two years ago. In recent footage of the young lady walking around in Chicago, she appears to have undergone more changes. Her hair is short and she is rocking baggy clothes. Chris Brown has shared a new photo of himself posing with fans in Paris, just days after he was arrested in that city on a charge of suspected rape. This, of course, begs the question: How in the name of all that is good and holy does Chris Brown have any fans?!? Granted, the polarizing artist has been released by French officials. He was taken into custody on Monday due to allegations by a 24-year old woman that he took her into a room within his hotel suite and committed a brutal assault that lasted for approximately 25 minutes. But Brown was subsequently let go by the police, with prosecutors still looking into this alleged victim’s claims… … yet unlikely to charge Brown with any crimes. In response the arrest, Brown has acted like, well, Chris Brown. He had been in Paris for work and he remained there after his release, writing as a caption to the photo above: “Its A WRAP!!!!” Shortly after the rape accusation went public, though, he posted the photo/message below to his Instagram page: And he wrote along with it: I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!! As we’ve often said throughout this ordeal: It would suck to be falsely accused of rape and we’d be angry of this happened to us, too. But Brown has an extensive history of violence against women; he has literally committed assault against Rihanna in the past. In no way is this charge against his character or morals. But anyway. TMZ has now confirmed that Brown has filed a criminal complaint against his accuser, alleging that she violated his privacy and defamed his character. More than a mere civil case, this filing could land the accuser in jail for up to a year if she’s found guilty. Brown, meanwhile, is looking to profit off the rape arrest. The singer has shared a screenshot of his clothing brand Black Pyramid’s Instagram account on his story. It depicts two different T-shirts, with the text “This Bitch Lyin’” written on them. It also advertises a Paris edition of the shirt with a picture of the Mona Lisa, the text instead reading, “That Bitch Lyin’. We hear Justin Bieber may buy one . Finally, TMZ reports that French police let Brown go because they simply didn’t find the accuser to be credible. She told the cops that she was raped by one of Brown’s friends after the singer accosted her — and then “abused” for a third time in another room. But she never tried to leave. And she never told any of the 20 or so people out in the main area of the suite what had happened or what was happening. For this reason, the cops did not buy what she was trying to tell them. After recently teasing fans with the implication that she’s banging her BFF , Kathryn Dennis is in a new, actual relationship. No, she’s not back with that creep Thomas Ravenel. Kathryn is dating a Country singer named Hunter Price. The Southern Charm has a new man, and she’s ready for her fans and followers to know. Kathryn tagged this photo with a single black heart emoji. She then tagged the man himself — Hunter Price. “Who’s this?” asked one of Kathryn’s attentive fans and followers. The singer’s name was tagged, but Kathryn knew what the fan was really asking. Kathryn replied: “My person.” If you’re happy for her, you’re not alone. Co-star Naomi Olindo took to the comments to offer her teasing congratulations. “OoOoOoOoO,” Naomi wrote. “Insta offish.” That means Instagram official, as in a relationship secure enough for Kathryn to feel comfortable sharing it with the world. Going Instagram official means that Kathryn’s fans and followers will be along for the ride — and any potential heartbreak. “Right?!” Kathryn replied. “tH@t$ wHeN u KnO iT$ rE@L amirite??” She’s saying that’s when you know it’s real, am I right? When a follower wrote that his single, “Left Behind,” is on her playlist, Kathryn replied: “Mine too.” At 25, Hunter is just one year younger than 26-year-old Kathryn Dennis. That is a stark contrast to her major relationship with her disgraced former castmate Thomas Ravenel. The couple shares two children, Kensie and Saint, over whom they are engaged in a nasty custody battle . Thomas Ravenel is 56 years old — a full 30 years Kathryn’s senior. She won’t even be half Thomas’ age until August of 2022. Hunter sounds more age-appropriate. And also, from what we know about him, like less of a colossal douche. So Hunter definitely seems like an upgrade. Before you go pointing out that Kathryn hooked up with her co-star, Shep Rose, we’re not shading him. Yes, Shep is handsome, either despite or because of the inexplicable Owen Wilson vibes that he radiates. But they were just hooking up. Neither of them ever said that they were dating. Good for Kathryn for living her best life, but it’s probably a smart move for her to not date a co-star at this time. They all know her and they all know her ex. It could get weird. Right now, Kathryn’s very young children, Kensie and Saint, are the center of her entire world. She has 50/50 custody with her baby daddy, Thomas, but is currently trying to get sole custody. Her timing is about right, as Thomas is expected to face trial on rape charges. If Kathryn is announcing that she’s dating Hunter, it may mean that she’s comfortable having him around her kids. Good news! Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting another child. The couple welcomed their second child in 2016, just before the world went to hell in a handbasket. And now they’re expecting their third child! Congratulations! On January 22, Chelsea Clinton took to Twitter to make the announcement. “Marc and I have loved watching Charlotte be such a wonderful big sister,” Chelsea’s tweet begins. “And,” she continues. “We’re excited to watch Aidan become a big brother!” Chelsea concludes: “We cannot wait to meet our newest addition later this summer.” That’s pretty vague — but we can look at the newest Clinton baby some time between the middle of June and the middle of September. Chelsea is famous, but not nearly so famous as her parents, Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton. When Chelsea was asked on Twitter if her parents are pumped for a new grandbaby, she responded. “They are :)” Chelsea writes. That is so sweet! Grandparents are always happy to see grandbabies born into the happy homes of their children. Chelsea is 38 and her husband, Marc, is 41. The couple married in 2010, and already has two children, as mentioned in Chelsea’s tweet. Their 4-year-old daughter is named Charlotte. Their 2-year-old son is Aidan. We are so excited for all of them to meet their latest addition! In 2017, Chelsea opened up about her experiences as a parent. “[Charlotte] loves singing her ABCs, Pharrell’s ‘Happy,’ ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ and more,” Chelsea shared. She continued: “We love that she loves to sing and we love to sing with her.” “She has told us we don’t have great voices so I think that is definitely karma!” Chelsea admitted. “[Aidan] will probably tell us the same once he’s talking,” she predicted. “Still, we will keep singing along with reading and talking to both our kids,” Chelsea concluded. Those activities are critical for a child’s intellectual development and for bonding. “Like so many moms,” Chelsea confessed. “I don’t think I will ever feel there are enough hours in the day to do all the things with my kids I wish I could do” She admitted that this is true “even on the days when I’m home.” “But,” she notes. “I know I am lucky to have control over my schedule.” She’s busy, but not in the same way that a single mother who’s holding down two jobs just to keep her child fed, closed, and housed is busy. “So,” Chelsea explained. “I can be home most weekends and in the mornings or evenings and hopefully both.” As we mentioned, we’re so happy for the Clinton family. Congratulations are in order. We only wish, as they must wish, that they could be preparing to welcome their newest child into a better, more promising world. Unfortunately, every day we wake up and check our phones for the latest horrifying news. Few are as aware of this as the Clinton family. And no one tried to do more to prevent our current nightmare. This morning, we reported on the shocking news that Chris Brown had been arrested in Paris i n connection with rape allegations. Now, it seems that authorities have released Brown on his own recognizance and informed him that he is free to return to the United States. The news comes as a shock to many, as the allegations against Brown are quite serious, and it was rumored that the case against him was a strong one. In addition to the rape allegations that led to the arrest of the singer and two associates, it was reported that Brown was facing drug charges, as authorities discovered a large amount of cocaine when he was taken into custody. Moments ago, however, TMZ broke the news that Brown will soon be headed home to the US. The controversial entertainer took to Instagram to address the situation just moments after being released from custody. “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE,” reads the latest post on his page. “FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” He added: “THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!” Brown also posted a graphic that reads simply: “THIS B!TCH LYIN'” The allegations are, of course, only the latest legal entanglement for Brown, who has been in trouble with the law for most of his 15 years in the spotlight. In 2009, Brown assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna , an incident that initially seemed as though it would land Brown behind bars and bring his music career to crashing halt. Neither proved to be the case, of course, and while Brown remained a wildly popular artist, he’s also proven consistently unable to refrain from engaging in appalling acts of violence. In 2014, Brown was imprisoned after he assaulted a photographer and was then kicked out of a court-ordered rehab facility for smashing a window on his mother’s car. There’s no word on yet on what will happen with Brown’s case from here, but if he was released without posting bond and permitted to return to the States, it seems unlikely that he’ll face any charges. Reports say Barnett was vacationing in Mexico at the time of his death, but the cause is still unknown. The Broad City writer was beloved and respected by so many of his comedy colleagues. I’m at a loss for words hearing about Kevin Barnett… We went to college together and both moved out to LA to pursue the dream.
