She’s already conquered the worlds of liquor and reality television. So, clearly, only one obstacle remains for Bethenny Frankel: Hollywood! According to an Us Weekly source, the former Real Housewife actually auditioned for Pain and Gain on February 27, an upcoming Michael Bay filmthat stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Ed Harris. “Bethenny secretly read for a role in Miami, Florida, and she did a good job,” an insider claims. “Although she has no formal training, she has obviously gained a lot of experience working with cameras and she was totally comfortable with what she had to read.” Bay was not present for the audition, but a second mole tells the tabloid it went very well. “They sent her an email after and said how great she was. She doesn’t know when she’ll find out if she gets the part, but the audition was fabulous.” This really shouldn’t come as a surprise. Frankel acted for years like everything she was saying and doing on screen was not scripted by Bravo.
Weeks away from giving birth, Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson says she has never felt more in touch with her body, or her sexuality specifically. No wonder Elle features Jessica Simpson nude this month. The hugely pregnant star opened up about her current sex life – oh, did she ever – with fiance Eric Johnson on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Tuesday. “I am definitely ‘feeling intimate,”” said the singer/actress, who notes that “I’m kind of unstoppable right now. The Big O is, like, the biggest O ever!” Former NFL pro Johnson, 32, is definitely game, she adds . “He’s always ready,” Jessica notes … wouldn’t you be? During the freewheeling chat, the fashion mogul also explained her decision to go nude for the April cover of Elle. “They didn’t even ask me to,” she said. “It was my idea. It kind of just seemed a natural thing for me to do.” It’s great she feels that way … but what do you think of the cover?

MTV News takes a look at why Madge’s upcoming album is a drug worth taking. By Jocelyn Vena Madonna’s MDNA Photo: Interscope Madonna wants us to dance the heartbreak away on MDNA. The record, set to drop on March 26, has some of the finest musical moments we’ve heard from the pop legend in the last few years, recalling the finer songs and themes she explored on Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor. It’s clear that Madge had her heart broken, most likely by her former hubby and British auteur, Guy Ritchie. She explores the pain of life post-divorce on many of the songs on the album, and most of the time, it works perfectly. Madonna really understands heartbreak and she understands even better how it can empower someone to be a better person. While all the buzz seems to be about “I Don’t Give A” and the bit too on-the-nose confessions she makes about her divorce (where she even sings about falling off a horse), her anger is even darker on the William Orbit-produced “Gang Bang.” Sparse at times and always punctuated by a pulsing beat, it’s incredibly hard. It’s the type of record you’d expect to hear at some after-hours club that your really edgy friend knows about. It’s about falling completely in love and falling more deeply into hate when it’s over. Serving as a pop-song revenge fantasy, Madonna sings, “And I’m going straight to hell/ And I’ve got a lot of friends there/ And if I see that b—- in Hell/ I’m gonna shoot him in the head again/ Cause I wanna see him die/ Over and over and over.” On the disco-tinged “Love Spent,” Madge sings about feeling like nothing more than a bank to a former lover (she did have one very costly breakup from Ritchie), and on the remorseful, melodic “Best Friend,” she admits, “Your picture’s off the wall, but I’m still waiting for your call/ And every man that walks through the door/ Will be compared to you.” “Superstar” is light and airy, recalling some of the singer’s highlights from the ’80s. The mid-tempo’s production, which comes courtesy of Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza, certainly helps distract from some of the sillier lyrics that have Madonna comparing her boy toy to famed dudes like Al Capone and James Dean. If anyone was wondering why she called the album MDNA, all they need to do is look to “I’m Addicted,” the super club-thumping track full of bleeping noises, spare moments and then big chugging ones, which are filled out with loopy instances. It’s about letting go and loving someone completely: “Now that your name/ Pumps like blood in my veins/ Pulsing through my body, lighting my mind/ It’s like MDNA and that’s OK.” MDNA, of course, is also known as ecstasy, giving the track the perfect metaphor for love on the dance floor. While most of the album addresses the highs and lows of falling in love, “Some Girls” is all about Madonna proclaiming her awesomeness. Another Orbit jam, it’s a crunchy, robotic, thumping anthem that puts Madonna right in the center of female empowerment. “I’m not like the rest,” she proclaims, as if anyone would ever question that. “Some girls are second best.” On the chorus, she declares, “Some girls are not like me/ I’m everything you’ve ever dreamed of/ I got you begging please.” One of the highlights is “Turn Up the Radio,” which sounds like it was born to be this summer’s feel-good anthem. It’s bright, happy and fun, all about letting go of the past. Over Martin Solveig’s sunny production, Madge sings, “It was time I opened my eyes/ I’m leaving the past behind/ Nothing’s ever what it seems/ Including this time and this crazy dream.” She’s not wrong to be that confident on this album. She’s certainly in the groove. And the album is full of strength, but it’s also her vulnerability that rounds it out. If fans thought link type=”content” id=”1678478″> “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” and “Girl Gone Wild” are what this era is all about, they are only seeing pieces of the MDNA puzzle, that’s only completed when listening to the album from front to back. In the end, this album is a drug worth taking. Are you counting down the days to the release of MDNA ? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Madonna
Reportedly embroiled in an online feud with Karrueche Tran , Chris Brown’s new girlfriend, Rihanna is making more headlines today for her use of Twitter. That’s because the singer has posted a provocative photo of herself on the network, posing last night in nothing but bracelets and shorts. See for yourself here: The sexy shot is seemingly a promotion for her upcoming music video, which Rihanna is currently shooting and which will be in honor of a track on her latest album, “Where Have You Been?” “Where have you been all my life?!” RiRi Tweeted along with the pic. But perhaps it’s also a response to her own father, Ronald Fenty, who told Heat magazine recently that Rihanna was a “little fat the last time I saw her.” Fenty added that he’s cool with his daughter rekindling a relationship, professional or otherwise , with the man who beat her bloody just a couple years ago, saying: “Chris is a nice guy and everybody’s entitled to make mistakes in their life. God knows how many I’ve made. She’s her own woman now.”
Jessica Simpson says her daughter made her presence known early on. “We were just about to [go] all-day drinking,” the singer and Fashion Star mentor recalls to Elle , which features Jessica Simpson nude on the cover of its new issue. “We were off to ride our bikes, hang out. But I felt this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with friends?” With an inkling that something was a little off, the 31-year-old Simpson took a home pregnancy test – and discovered she was expecting with fiance Eric Johnson. Instantly, her life changed. “I’m a free-spirited girl, but giving up my scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!” she says.
In footage from her MTV documentary ‘Stay Strong,’ the singer/actress explains the meaning behind her ink. By Jocelyn Vena Demi Lovato in “Demi Lovato: Stay Strong” Photo: MTV Demi Lovato ‘s moving MTV documentary, “Stay Strong,” was named after the her two wrist tattoos, which pay homage to the mantra her fans would tell her while Lovato was in treatment. And in a special extra bit of footage, the singer/actress breaks down the meanings behind all of her ink. “I have about nine or ten tattoos. So, I have a lot of tattoos. The very first tattoo I got, I was sixteen. And I got ‘You make me beautiful’ on my ribs,’ she explains about the lyrics from the Bethany Dillon song “Beautiful.” “It’s one of my favorite songs ever and I got it because I was dealing with self-image issues.” Demi went on to tell the story behind her second tattoo, a feather behind her ear. “I got it a Warped Tour on a tour bus, and that just was stupid.” And that’s not the only tattoo she got on a bus at Warped Tour. Another year, she got a tattoo of a kiss mark on her wrist. “It’s my friend Heidi’s lips,” Lovato explained. “And then I have feathers down my ribs,” she said of another set of tattoos. “I have a cross on my hand and then I have ‘peace’ and ‘rock’n’roll’ on my fingers. My dad doesn’t know, but he’ll find out now.” While all of her ink means something to her, it’s the ones she got in the last year that really speak to her journey, such as the one on her right arm that reads “faith.” “It’s a matching tattoo with one of my friends I met in treatment. I didn’t think I was going to come out of treatment with a new best friend, but I did and obviously I believe in faith. Faith has gotten me to where I am today.” And Lovato shouts out her Lovatics, not only with the words “Stay” and “Strong” scrolled across her wrists, but with one other tattoo. “I got ‘Stay’ and ‘Strong’ on my wrists, and these actually were really meaningful to me,” she said. “My fans constantly said it the entire time I was in treatment … and while they said it they would also put a little heart. I have a signature heart that I dot my I’s with. So my fans would draw it on their wrists every day until I came out of treatment. And I thought, ‘What better way to thank them?’ That’s a connection I have with my fans I don’t see with many other people. And it’s really cool that I have that; it’s really special.” So, will she get more ink? “I have to stop! I am going to be covered in tattoos,” Lovato laughed during the live “After Show.” “I am so impulsive when it comes to it.” Want to win a copy of ‘Unbroken’ signed by Demi Lovato? Whitney Houston may have died unexpectedly on February 11, but the singer at least had the good fortune to plan ahead. In a 19-page document obtained by Inside Edition , it’s revealed that Whitney left absolutely everything to her teenage daughter. This includes personal wealth, furniture, clothing jewelry and cars. The money will be placed in a trust – with Whitney’s mother, Cissy, serving as executor – until Bobbi Kristina, who turned 19 on March 4, is 21 years old. She then gets more cash when she turns 25 and the rest when she’s 30. Houston initially drafted the will in 1993, but amended it to the current version in April 2000. Bobbi Kristina, meanwhile, will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her first interview since her mom’s passing this Sunday evening on OWN.

Justin Bieber turned 18 years old on March 1, which means you can feel less dirty thinking of the singer in certain ways, ladies. But know this: he probably isn’t thinking of you at all. That’s because the singer is clearly smitten with girlfriend Selena Gomez, as evidenced by his behavior at a surprise party thrown in his honor Friday night at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. “He was all over Selena the whole time, walking her around by the hand. He kept kissing her,” an onlooker tells Us Weekly . “It’s clear she was the best part of the night for him. He is still so in love with her.” Also in attendance at the shindig: Justin’s mom and grandparents; his manager (who presented him with a new car last week); Kim Kardashian , Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Ashley Tisdale, Cody Simpson and… Mike Tyson, among other stars. A the Twit pic above proves, however, Justin only had eyes – and lips – for one attendee.
