Lady Gaga ended 2015 on quite a high note, winning rave reviews – along with a Golden Globe – for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel. And now the singer’s 2016 is off to an impressive start as well. She will sing the national anthem this Sunday in Santa Clara, prior to Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, meanwhile, will perform in American Sign Language during this rendition of the country’s theme song. With this honor, Lady Gaga joins an impressive rundown of artists who have opened the most-watched sporting event on the planet with a nod to their nation. Idina Menzel did the honors in 2015, while past stars who have belted out the track at the Super Bowl have included Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood. We wish, of course, that Lady Gaga was instead performing at halftime of the game. Instead, viewers and attendees will be subjected to Coldplay, although the band is at least expected to include such guests as Beyonce in its halftime set.

This is not mere speculation on our part, not after Lopez completed a recent concert in Las Vegas, bent over at the waist to show her appreciation to the crowd for its applause… … and tore open her pants in the process. OOPS! Also: HAWT! The wardrobe malfunction took place at the conclusion of Lopez’s “All I Have” show on Saturday, January 23. Before exiting the stage, the singer thanked the thousands in attendance with a bow, only for cameras to capture her bedazzled jumpsuit opening up to reveal one of the most famous butts in the business. The mother of twins Max and Emme made her Las Vegas debut on January 21. Throughout each show, she wears no less than 12 shimmering, VERY revealing costumes, including a Zuhair Murad corset, bodysuits by Nicolas Jebran and one-of-a-kind getups by Versace. But we doubt Lopez planned on revealing this much of herself this time around. No matter, though. When you have a rear end such as this, we also doubt Lopez has lost much sleep as a result of millions of people watching the following video on their computers.

South of the border this time. According to TMZ insiders, the artist and his friends were acting like obnoxious tourists on Thursday when visiting some Mayan ruins in Cancun. While taking in the sights of the famous Tulum pyramids, initial reports indicated that Bieber ran afoul of the temple gods when he pulled down his pants and actually mooned those below him. It’s now unclear, however, whether or not this actually took place. But we can confirm that local authorities were called to the scene by employees who were upset that Bieber and his entourage were walking around with open bottles of beer.
