Howard Stern swears off "’F’ing Democrats" Forever!

Says Democrats are all “Communists” On his Sirius/XM radio show on Thursday, Howard Stern had some very harsh words for the Federal Communications Commission. From EyeBlast : “I got so crazy over this yesterday, so I called my agent. And my agent, he’s very liberal Democrat kind of guy. I go that’s it! You know what Don. I’ve voted Republican and I’ve voted Democrat. I have vowed I will never vote for a Democrat again. I don’t give a fuck. No matter who they are… The facts are these Democrats at the FCC are Communists… they’re for communism.” At issue is the FCC’s plan to allow some Wireless providers to interfere with satellite radio broadcasts. From SatWaves : Stern discussed the issue live on his show yesterday, quoting and reading directly from an article I wrote several days ago, titled “Will The FCC Interfere With Sirius XM Yet Again?.” With a tone of disgust that should be expected of anyone now familiar with the decade long issue, Stern rightly noted that the FCC seems to go after him no matter where he is, through whatever means possible… Of note, Stern ran briefly in 1994 for the nomination of the Libertarian Party for Governor of New York.

Howard Stern On CBS ‘Early Show’: Jay Leno Bashing

Getty Images Howard Stern didn't have anything nice to say about Jay Leno today in his interview on CBS ' Early Show . He wasn't as lewd as he normally is on his own show, but he made no attempt to hide his disdain for the host. He bashed Leno pretty bad, and seemed like he had no qualms about his harsh words. Howard Stern (Getty) Among other things, Stern said Leno “seems to be the kind of showbiz animal who won't let go.” He said Leno was “fired” and that a “man” would move on. Guess he was on Team Coco, huh? Leno also apparently has an adverse effects on the shock jock's physical well-being. He said this morning: “Just the mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me want to vomit.” How do you really feel, Mr. Stern? Howard also weighed in on the rumors that he'll be Simon Cowell 's replacement on American Idol next season. He didn't really answer the question either way, but said “in this economy,” he wouldn't turn down “100 million.” See the video here: See more pictures of Howard Stern here (click any picture):

But there is more to the story… DR. BLOGSTEIN : You had the responsibility of replacing Howard Stern when he went to Sirius Satellite Radio. ROB BARNETT : Piece of cake, right? STEVE LANGFORD : This we have to hear. The former CBS executive in charge when Howard left that sad cemetery of stations in late 2005… ROB BARNETT : The real truth of it has never completely come out. STEVE LANGFORD : So many stories, so little time for Rob Barnett, who was at the wheel when CBS Radio went into a ditch after Howard moved to Sirius XM… ROB BARNETT : Howard is as unique a person in the world that we all live in and he’s completely irreplaceable. STEVE LANGFORD : Barnett revealing a couple of stories about how CBS Radio tried to move on without Howard, on Dr. Blogstein’s Radio Happy Hour … ROB BARNETT : We went to Jon Stewart first—because we worked with him a little bit back in the MTV days—and offered him not hosting a radio show, but the idea of him doing one of the millions of jobs he does, which is produce. And we pitched him kind of a Lorne Michaels concept, where you could really start over from scratch and cast something that would be different than a typical four-hour radio show. STEVE LANGFORD : When that didn’t happen, Plan B involved a couple of other characters from Comedy Central… ROB BARNETT : We had some amazing meetings with Matt [ Stone ] and Trey [ Parker ] from South Park . That never came out in the press, but it was incredibly fun. STEVE LANGFORD : But as everyone knows, the fun stayed at Comedy Central and CBS listeners—those who couldn’t get up to change the station—ended up with David Lee Roth and company. DR. BLOGSTEIN : Did that drive you off of radio? Because that’s a no-win situation. STEVE LANGFORD : More than four years later, the search goes on. Howard Stern: ‘I Won’t Work With DeGeneres Or DioGuardi’ On ‘American Idol’

Radio host says he’ll bring his ‘own people’ on board. By Jocelyn Vena Howard Stern Photo: MTV News Rumors about controversial radio host Howard Stern joining the “American Idol” judges’ table after Simon Cowell’s departure at the end of this season have been swirling for awhile, and Stern has discussed the talk openly on his Sirius Radio show . In his latest bit of “Idol” chatter, the shock jock said that he would only get on board if two judges currently on the show — Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi — were shown the door. “What do you want me to tell you? Listen, I won’t work with Ellen DeGeneres or Kara DioGuardi. If I go to ‘American Idol’, they’re out,” he told New York Post reporter Cindy Adams on Thursday night. “They don’t have an opinion. You gotta be with it, you gotta make the show happen.” Stern, who spoke Adams on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “Green Zone,” didn’t name potential replacements for DioGuardi and DeGeneres, but he did say he would bring his own people on board. “When I come in there, I’m gonna bring a couple of people — my own people with me — and we’re going to take that show to new heights,” he added. “Someone sings bad, we take the trap door and throw them right down the trap door. I’m going to put an electric dog collar on the contestants, when they screw up I’m going to shock ’em. You understand? We’re going to talk a real show.” Stern also engaged in some public salary negotiations, telling “Entertainment Tonight” how much he thinks he should get paid . “I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,” Stern said. He also added his thoughts on DeGeneres’ first week behind the judges’ table. “Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen,’ he said. “She’s out if I come in.” What do you think of Stern’s comments? Howard Stern Considering Replacing Simon Cowell On ‘American Idol’

‘There’s not a better job on the planet than judging a karaoke contest,’ Stern says on his Sirius radio show. By James Montgomery, with additional reporting by Gil Kaufman Howard Stern Photo: Jim Spellman/ WireImage On Monday (February 8), Howard Stern not only confirmed reports that Fox is interested in hiring him to replace departing “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell , but that the interest is mutual. “There’s not a better job on the planet than judging a f—–g karaoke contest,” Stern told his satellite radio listeners. “It might be possible, we’ll see.” Stern, who frequently dissects “Idol” on his radio program, joked that the deciding factor in the negotiations might be the size of the paycheck show producers are willing to shell out for his services. “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough, because I already make a ton of dough,” he said. Stern’s five-year, $500 million contract with Sirius XM is set to expire in January of next year. And according to some reports , “Idol” producers are prepared to match that deal. “A $100 million to judge a karaoke contest? Yeah, I think I would do that show for $100 million,” Stern said. “It would be the best thing that happened to me. What a cush job: $100 million for four months. Who wouldn’t take that?” Stern added that he wouldn’t do a radio show if he landed the “Idol” job, and said that, while the show is “nothing” without Cowell, he had read reports that it was the acerbic Brit himself who suggested the longtime shock jock take his place at the end of this season. “I’m not going to comment about any discussions I might or might not have had,” he said. “I watch ‘American Idol.’ … people seem to think that if I was on it, because I’m such a foul-mouthed, miserable f—, that I would get them thrown off the air. I know how to judge.” And to that end, he said that, really, he’s the best man for the job, since he’d be able to replace the acerbic wit the show would be missing without Cowell. “If I do say so myself, I can’t imagine anyone else but me replacing [Cowell],” Stern said. “I mean, how else are they going to make that show work? Who knows how to broadcast and who knows how to be interesting? And who’s not afraid to speak their mind?” And what else would Stern bring to the table? Well, judging by the jokes he made about current “Idol” judges Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres, he wouldn’t be opposed to sparring with his fellow judges. And when asked about the kinds of critiques he’d offer up to auditioners, he replied with this hypothetical nugget. ” ‘Hey Fantasia, you’re not getting little boys hard. You look like you stepped out of a cartoon. … They want a Britney Spears or a Rihanna,” Stern said. “Little boys are scared that you are going to sit on them. You’re out. … You’ve got to go clean up your act. Get a haircut like Rihanna if you want little boys [to get excited about] you.” Should make for an interesting show! A spokesperson for 19 Entertainment, which produces “American Idol,” had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment at press time. Would Howard Stern make a good replacement for Simon Cowell on “American Idol”? What do you think? Sound off in the comments below!
