The Situation to Judge: I Can’t Make Arraignment Due to Marriage Boot Camp!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino asked judge to delay his federal tax fraud case because of a previous engagement, and you’re not going to believe what it is: He’s shooting Marriage Boot Camp when he’s supposed to be arraigned! Seriously, The Situation’s lawyers begged a judge in a letter to postpone the reality star’s arraignment, since it conflicts with his reality TV career. The former Jersey Shore star was scheduled to be arraigned October 6. Before Mike Sorrentino got arrested for tax fraud, he and his fiancee (?!) had already signed a contract to do the show in L.A. from October 5-19. The production company behind the series was concerned that Sitch would bail in the wake of his indictment, especially since the charges are no joke. It turns out they have nothing to worry about. Thank GOODNESS. Maybe the judge loves him some We TV programming, because the request was apparently granted and the arraignment pushed back to October 23. Interesting, the network just announced the new cast members for Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars , which is set to premiere in early 2015. The Situation is not in the press release, possibly because this situation had yet to be resolved, and you never know what might happen in court. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt , Aviva and Reid Drescher, Natalie Nunn and Jacob Payne, Tyson Apostol and Rachel Foulger and Syleena Johnson and Kiwane Garris will be there. For some reason, obsessive fans of certain celebrities often feel the need to launch online attacks against other stars whom they perceive to be rivals of their favorites. Normally, this behavior is baffling but harmless, such as when Nicki Minaj fans harassed Iggy Azalea on Twitter. Sometimes, however, these situations turn ugly, as was the case yesterday when one of Ariana Grande’s “Arianators” began posting racist tweets targeting the members of girl group Fifth Harmony. “Fifth Harmony are 4 Mexicans and one obese n–ger,” tweeted a user named “@ArianasProblem.” “I bet they all weigh over a hundred pounds. Like there fan base there fat lesbians.” Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei responded to the tweet as calmly as could be expected, writing: “@arianasproblem I’m gonna need you to educate yourself before making yourself look like an idiot on social media.” Unfortunately, Kordei’s fans apparently took her response as a cue to hurl insults at @ArianasProblem, and the situation quickly escalated. “I have had enough of being harassed by Normani & her fans i committing suicide,” @ArianasProblem tweeted later the same night. “I’m killing myself because no one believes. Everyone is talking about how Kanye yelled at a guy in a wheelchair to stand up, probably planted in the audience for controversy…but who I am sure he would have made stand up if it was for controversy to take a lead from the Evangelicals to convince the masses he is sent here for some spiritual higher purpose… But the real highlight of the Australian concert is how Kim dealt with trashy girls, because everyone in Australia is trashy, just based on accent alone….as they flashed their tits… Kim seemed pretty into it, only because she was once the girl flashing her tits, getting fucked by black dudes, doing whatever it took to get the attention in the room, and now that she’s made it – she can let her inner catty bitch take a break, and open the floor up to the new generation of “Look at me” girls to take their place…. Some responded by saying that the situation is sort of sad and we probably shouldn’t be mocking Mayweather. 50 responded by downgrading his challenge to “one page of the Cat in the Hat.” Now Mayweather has responded in his own fashion: Those are checks from Mayweather’s last two fights. John Hamm Speaks On Protests In Ferguson With so many celebs quick to spout a lot of Black community blame and “ what about (insert irrelevant topic here)??” nonsense around the events occurring in Ferguson, it’s a little refreshing to see a celeb who speaks on behalf of those seeking justice rather than deflecting . Via USAToday : Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, a St. Louis native, says he hopes “cooler heads prevail” in the Missouri city of Ferguson and that “people come through it for the better.” Hamm, who’s in London to promote his latest movie, Million Dollar Arm, told reporters he has a special reason for speaking out about the unrest in the St. Louis suburb since the fatal shooting earlier this month of an African-American teen, Michael Brown, by a white Ferguson police officer. Hamm said the situation there is “difficult to watch because it’s my hometown.” But he said he supports the protesters. He says, “They have a legitimate reason to protest and they’re exercising their right to do that and so hopefully, in the end, people will come through it stronger.” He said cities should not “be measured on how they have failed, but how they get through and how they clean up after their mistakes.” Sounds like he sides with the protesters…but still doesn’t want to step too far into it.
