For over a week a now. protests in Ferguson, Missouri over the death of Michael Brown have been making international headlines. Yesterday, President Obama issued a statement on the situation that somehow seemed to further enrage both sides of the conflict, and as the video below demonstrates, after 11 days of protests, tensions may be running higher than ever: Ferguson Police Officer Threatens Civilian The clip clearly shows a police officer pointing a rifle at a non-violent protestor and shouting, “I’ll f–king kill you.” The civilian asks to the officer’s name only to be told, “Go f–k yourself.” Thankfully, another officer was able defuse the situation before it became violent. The video – shot by an unknown protestor and uploaded to YouTube earlier today – is just the latest indication that there will be no easy resolution to the unrest in Ferguson, and the ordeal will likely continue to have national ramifications. Darren Wilson has been identified as the officer who shot Brown , but it is not yet known what sort of punishment he’ll receive. National debates on the incident were re-ignited yesterday, when surveillance footage of Brown that shows the 18-year-old stealing cigars from a convenient store was released online. The theft of the cigars resulted in the shooting death of Brown, and both supporters and critics of the Ferguson police Department have claimed that the video supports their position. Following confirmation of a physical fight between group members Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day, each of the members have taken to the internet to speak out about new of their split. SMH… hide ya kids … New York Teaching Assistant Confesses To Inappropriately Touching Students A Danish teaching assistant at a posh New York preschool recently confessed to inappropriately touching students; putting their hands on his groin and at one point putting the head of a child in his lap. Interestingly enough, the coward has since recanted his confession and the person who initially reported him was fired for “insubordination.” NyMag.com reports: The saga began in February when Malthe Thomsen started an internship at the school’s 45th Street branch. He was well-liked and highly regarded, the New York Times reports, until Mariangela Kefalas, an assistant teacher, reported to superiors that Thomsen was displaying “peculiar behavior,” including “inappropriate touching of children.” Kefalas recorded Thomsen hugging the 4- and 5-year-olds in his class and letting them play on his lap. The school launched an internal investigation that included observations and interviews, eventually concluding that there was nothing to the allegations. Kefalas was fired soon after for insubordination when she refused to turn over further evidence she said proved Thomsen’s guilt. Thomsen, meanwhile, remained at work. But in June, police came calling and, after confessing, he was arrested. Parents reacted in horror, with some of them hiring lawyers to look into the situation. Thomsen has since recanted his confession. His lawyers say police were deceptive in their interrogation, lying about videos that showed him abusing kids. In his statement given to police and reviewed by the Times, Thomsen says he would put the children’s hands on his groin during play time. “I recognize that it’s an absolutely disgusting thing,” he said. “I am not myself sure about why I would do such a thing.” SMH…what is going on at that school?????
The Lindsay Lohan bikini photos from last week showed the “actress” looking as though she was several months pregnant with an unwanted booze baby. Since then, Lindsay has been posting constant selfies, and attempting to mold her various sags and protrusions into something that might pass for a human female form. On the left, we’ve got Lindsay using her tongue to clean last night’s coke residue from her hair (Waste not, want not!), and on the right the Master of Deception attempts to conceal the drink/cigarette/crack pipe in her hand by cleverly extending her arm off camera. We kid. She’s probably just pointing out local points of interest like that bar where she slipped in her own vomit, and that other bar where she slipped in someone else’s vomit. In fairness, Lindsay looks better here than she did last week. But then again, the Courtney Love swimsuit photos look better than Linds did last week, and we’re pretty sure Courtney’s been legally dead for months. Apparently Phaedra’s been keeping up her “southern belle with a perfect family” image up for the sake of her kids and RHOA reality cameras , but was pushed over the edge by Apollo’s prison sentence. Via MailOnline : Phaedra Parks reportedly won’t be sticking around for husband Apollo Nida to serve his eight-year prison sentence. According to In Touch Weekly, the 41-year-old Real Housewives Of Atlanta star ‘wants to leave him’ after he was convicted of federal bank fraud and identity theft and sentenced to almost a decadein the slammer on July 8. ‘If they never started a family, she would have filed for divorce long ago,’ the publication reports an insider as saying. ‘But this is going to push Phaedra to act quickly.’ The entertainment attorney and the 35-year-old personal trainer are parents to two young sons – Ayden, three, and Dylan, 14 months – and despite wanting to keep her family together for the sake of the children, she’s reportedly had enough of her husband’s criminal activities. Aubrey don’t write rhymes, he writes checks… Drake Pays Former Rapper $100,000 For Borrowed Lines Apparently Drake’s opening lines on YG’s “Who Do You Love” track sound STRIKINGLY similar to a portion of a verse from Rappin’ 4-Tay’s 1994 track “Playaz Club.” 4-Tay never filed a formal lawsuit, but today he’s enjoying some Views From The 6 -figure settlement in exchange for his throwback lines. Via TMZ : Drake just paid a ton of respect to Rappin’ 4-Tay — in the form of cold, hard cash — to settle a beef in which 4-Tay claimed Drizzy jacked his rhymes. 4-Tay first put Drake on blast when YG’s hit “Who Do You Love” came out. Drake drops lyrics on the song that are clearly ripped straight from 4-Tay’s 1994 hit “Playaz Club.” 4-Tay was offended Drake didn’t give him credit on the song. No lawsuit was ever filed, but sources close to the situation tell us a very lucrative agreement was reached. 4-Tay’s manager tells TMZ … Drake’s record label agreed to pay 4-Tay $100,000 for “borrowing” the lines. Dear Bossip , I’ve been with my boyfriend, on and off, all through high school. We’re both under 20 years of age and have an apartment together. I guess everything is fading because every other week or month he’s been asking me would I like to go back home, like I just can. I moved away from my family, but me and my family aren’t that close anyway. And, I’ve been getting frustrated with him about that, but lately he told me he’s not physically nor sexually attracted to me anymore. Quiet honestly, I’m not attracted to myself; I’m not saying this because I feel bad or anything. I know I’m not looking my best, but how can I when I’m young and pay bills? I can’t even by myself a new hair bow. I need a makeover, or sweepstakes. But, it’s not that easy because the apartment and bills are in my name and we have a savings account together. He’s controlling, and I’m tired of that, too. It’s always he can say and do whatever, but I can’t and he’s overly insecure. If you seen him you wouldn’t think that because he’s very good looking. I don’t know. I really need some advice. It’s not easy not having anyone to talk to. I’ve also felt that I was pulling away from him because my interest has been on girls lately. But, also, because I feel like I’m too good to keep putting up with this after all I’ve done and continue to do. Is our high school romance over? You are no longer lovebirds living under the protection and roofs of your parents, sneaking out with each other on the weekdays and week nights to meet up and talk about your dreams and fantasies. You are no longer in high school, meeting at your locker in between classes, kissing and feeling one another up, and making plans to skip school. Nope. Those days are long gone. You both decided you wanted to be adults, and play grown-ups, and move out on your own and live in your high school sweetheart bliss. Welp, you did and it’s not so pretty is it? Life is hard, and it’s tough. Life is full of paying bills, going to work, and being responsible adults. It’s not about laying up and laying around your loved one all day, and not having a worry in a world. It’s about taking care of yourselves, feeding yourselves, and struggling to keep the lights on, the water, paying car notes, your phones, and traveling back and forth to work. Welcome to adulthood. Welcome to being independent and living on your own. Now, because –ish has hit the fan, and the reality has set in for him, he is ready to bail out and call it quits. He’s ready to run home and go back to the safety net he once had. He’s figured out that life is not kind. It’s not hanging out in the streets and not worrying if food will be on the table and in the fridge when he comes home. He has to work. Be a man. And, take care of his responsibilities. And, you have become part of his responsibility. No longer is it just about him, or just about you. It’s the two of you in this together. So, now what do you do? Do you give up and run back home? Unfortunately, you say you can’t go home because you’re not close with your family. What will you do, or what can you do? Well, it will suck if he just up and leaves you and returns home. That is why he keeps asking you if you would like to go back home. The reality is that he wants to go back and home. And, because you can’t he is frustrated. He is angry. And, you are part of his frustration and anger. And, this puts a strain on your relationship and his feelings for you where he no longer finds you attractive physically or sexually. He wants out and feels obligated to stay. SMH! You have options. And, you need to strongly consider them. The first is let him go home. Let him leave, and end this relationship. He is not about this life, and you can’t afford to take care of him emotionally or mentally, nor be in this unhealthy relationship where he resents you. Why be with someone who doesn’t find you physically or sexually attractive? Why be with someone who resents you, and wants to control you? It’s not worth your sanity, health, and well-being. Let him go, wish him well, and figure out how you can either stay in this apartment by yourself, or you find a smaller studio apartment that you can afford. It’s time to look out for you! The next option is that you both return home to your parent’s homes. Yes, that means you will have to learn how to work on your relationship with your parent/s, and resolve the matter as an adult. No more arguing, no more talking back, and no more bucking their rules. I know it’s hard being a young adult living with your parent/s, and you think you know it all. Well, apparently that hasn’t worked out for you because look at your situation. At some point, you have to grow up, and start to take responsibility for your part and what you contribute to the dissention in the relationship. Sit down, talk, and work it out. Whatever is going on at home, you can talk about it. Learn to listen, and learn how to better communicate with one another. Being at home will allow you the opportunity to continue working, save some money, and you can give yourself 6 months to a year to earn enough money to move into another smaller and more affordable apartment alone. Yes, alone. The relationship with your boyfriend is over. It’s time to focus on you, building you, and taking care of yourself. And, also get back into school. Having an education, and empowering yourself will pay off in the long run so you won’t end up in this same rut. The final option is that you and your boyfriend can reassess your situation, get into couple’s counseling, and find an apartment that is more affordable to your income. There are some issues and challenges you both face and need to address. You have problems at home, and with your family that you bringing into this relationship. He resents you, and is unhappy in this situation, and has emotionally, mentally, and physically shut down from you. You see the layers that is being created simply because neither of you are not ready for the types of responsibilities you’re taking on, and you’re both under 20 years of age? You’re also complicating matters with your sexuality, and questioning whether you want to be with girls. You don’t find yourself pretty or attractive. You give all your power over to him, and you allow him to dictate to you what you can and cannot do. If you remain in this relationship, and in this situation it will only get worse. He will become verbally abusive, emotionally abusive, and then physically abusive. And, you will stay because you feel you have no place to go, nowhere to turn, and no one to talk to. You have the power to change this situation, and this circumstance. Think of you. Think of what you desire and what you want out of life. If it means ending it with him, then end it. If it means you struggle on your own without him, then it’s better to struggle alone than with someone who doesn’t want to be with you. The worst thing you can do is try to make someone stay with you who doesn’t want to be with you, or force something that is no longer working. If he wants to leave, then let him leave. Hell, help him pack, and wish him well. He is doing you a favor. And, I’m sure there are some programs, centers, and groups that can assist you in finding an apartment, a better job, and getting into college, either community college, or a trade school. Find a spiritual foundation, church, or center where you can go and talk to someone, and also a place where you can get motivated and inspired. Surround yourself with positive reinforcements. You can reclaim your life, and your power, but you have to be willing to do it. So, look at your options, and welcome to the real world. Miley Cyrus is kind of interesting. I know you’re probably laughing at that statement because she’s anything but interesting. You know just identity crisis making lots of money for herself and lots of people….but I see her as more of a lab rat in an aquarium science experiment of what happens when you exploit your children to Disney and force them to be alienated from society, exposed only to industry people and the internet throughout her formative years…unable to leave the house for an ice cream or to play in the park… totally alone with no one who really understands her or her situation….only to break through with some weirdo exhibitonist clown act, where she jacks her outfit up her vag night after night, and in her downtime gets high and produces creepy, weird, unstable videos you’d think she’d keep to herself…because they are neither flattering, awesome, or good for anything or anyone…yet she posts them and the whole thing is as messy as what I imagine is going on in her head…and the only thing you can blame is her stripper groupie mom and one hit wonder dad for taking her inbred ass out of the countryside and throwing her into this life…. I mean this is text book behavior for another overdose…and premature inbred heart disease death… And I guess the real question in all this insanity is how dead would Miley need to be to be too dead to have sex with? The moves come just days after Rob shockingly peaced out of his sister’s wedding weekend, catching a flight to Los Angeles Saturday morning… before Kim Kardashian said “I Do” for the third time. Some sort of issue allegedly arose over Rob refusing to be included in any family portraits due to his low self-esteem. Rob Kardashian Weight Gain “Friends at the wedding expressed serious concern for him,” a close family pal, who attended the Kimye festivities, tells People. “When I saw him, it looked like something was very wrong.” Rob’s struggle with a ballooning figure has been making headlines for months now. He recently shot down talk that he attended rehab to deal with depression as a result of this weight gain, but Rob also acknowledged on Twitter last week that he’s well aware of his girth. “I know I’m fat,” he actually wrote, asking haters to stop hating. But this insider says he’s “not sure” Rob’s behavior and downtrodden moods are “solely related to weight gain,” while also making it clear to the star that “his friends and family are rooting for him.” No member of the family has commented on the situation since the wedding, though Kardashian recently reached out to Lamar Odom for advice.
