Nin-JA please! JoJo Says He Wouldn’t Have Joined Jodeci Via Sister2Sister On last season of VH1′s “Couples Therapy,” JoJo and Tashaunda opened up about JoJo’s battle with alcoholism and Tashaunda’s struggle with her past as a victim of sexual abuse. But what caused JoJo to ever begin drinking? Is he ready to stop? And how has abuse affected Tashaunda as a mother and her relationship with JoJo? Jamie: Do you remember starting with alcohol? JoJo: You know, it’s been so long. Ever since Jodeci had their first hit, that’s when everything started spiraling downward. I mean with the whole band, individually and as a group. From then on I really didn’t have no feelings about it. It was just party and BS. But I didn’t think it was taking a toll on me until the first time that I said I wasn’t going to drink anything, and I fell into a seizure. So that was like a withdrawal. Jamie: This is really something. Do you have problems with your liver or anything now? JoJo: The only thing that’s going on with me now—and I thank God I’m still here able to talk to you again—is my pancreas. I drank so much until a small part of my pancreas had ate away. That’s no pain you want to feel. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. Jamie: If you were to start all over today, knowing what you know now, what would you do or not do? JoJo: Knowing what I know now, I don’t think I would have been in Jodeci. S2S also asked his wife about her temptation to kick JoJo’s azz to the curb. Jamie: Tiny was it difficult loving him through this? JoJo: Good question. I want to know the answer to this. Jamie: Because that’s hard on you. He’s not even who he is when he’s drinking. Tashaunda: Right. There have been some difficult moments where I felt like running away but I know that there’s this beautiful person in there and he’s hiding behind alcohol. If you marry somebody, you love them unconditionally. It’s not just something that you can just walk away from. The biggest thing that a lot of people don’t understand, which I myself didn’t understand until I was in this situation is that alcoholism. It’s an illness. Image via flickr

You know white people…get money don’t spend it… Lindsay Lohan Has Owed Lawyer Shawn Holley Over $300,000 For Over A Year Via RadarOnline Lindsay Lohan owes her recently fired, long standing criminal defense attorney, Shawn Holley, a whopping $300,000 plus in unpaid legal fees and hasn’t made a payment to the famed lawyer in more than half a year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. “Lindsay owes Shawn over $300k in legal fees and she hasn’t made any payments to her in over six months,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “Lindsay hadn’t paid anything for any of the work Shawn has done on her three new criminal charges of lying to cops, in connection with her car accident in Santa Monica last summer. Shawn has kept Lindsay out of jail for over five years now and she has no idea how good she has had it. Shawn is extremely respected by judges and prosecutors and that has benefited Lindsay greatly. Lindsay’s new criminal attorney, Mark Heller, isn’t even based in Los Angeles and certainly doesn’t have the revered reputation that Shawn does.” As previously reported, Lohan is currently on probation for stealing a necklace from a Venice jewelry store. Meantime, she will be back in court on January 15 to be arraigned on her latest charges. Lohan is required to be in court for the arraignment, at which time she will be required to enter a plea. A date will also be set for a probation violation hearing, and if the troubled actress is found to be guilty, she could be sent to jail for up to six months. “I suspect that Lindsay’s new attorney is either representing her for a reduced fee, or not charging her at all,” the source says. “I think Mark wants the publicity that representing Lindsay Lohan can bring.” What an ungrateful lil beyotch Blohan is! Britney Spears’ breakup with Jason Trawick , her fiance of 13 months, was not as sudden as it might have seemed … if it seemed sudden at all, which it didn’t. If you read much celebrity gossip , you know that Britney split rumors have been off the hook lately, leading us to believe, sadly, that it was only a matter of time. As for what caused the split? Reports suggesting that kids were to blame – she wanted more, he did not – are likely partially true, but there could also be more to it. A lot more to it. Jason Trawick had been highly and increasingly stressed over her mental health and eventually it just wore him down, according to FOX 411. According to an insider: “The breakup has really been in motion awhile. Jason has been very stressed and concerned for Britney and what she might do if he left.” “He is worried about her and really loved her, but it started to take a real toll on him. The burden of taking care instead of a partnerships where she also takes care.” After more than three years together, the couple announced their split mutually on Friday, amid reports that Britney was dumping him from her conservatorship. That care-taking role – Jason being in charge of Britney’s career and life, in many respects – also killed the romance, an expert and a source close to the situation says.

Hermione Way: Behind Harry Styles and Taylor Swift Split?

According to recent reports, the Taylor Swift and Harry Styles break up was based on an argument between the couple while their vacationed in Virgin Gorda. And now we may know more about the basis for that fight. Styles was spotted over the weekend partying on Richard Branson’s Necker Island, seemingly at ease with a group that includes British Internet entrepreneur and reality-TV star Hermione Way . Courtesy of a friend’s Facebook post from the event, she’s pictured with Harry and company in a red bikini here: Sources tell E! News that Way flirted with Styles , but nothing came of their interaction. Still, Way Tweeted a link to a Daily Mail story about Harry’s split with Taylor along with the caption “Oh Dear…” She’s not exactly distancing herself from the situation. “Everyone on the island was wondering what exactly had gone wrong but he did not say at all,” the source says. “He did not tell anyone they were necessarily over, just that there had been some unrest and that something had gone wrong. He wasn’t specific and no one pressed him for more.” At least one mole, however, confirms that Styles and Swift are “100” percent finished.

Tim Tebow Denies Rift with Jets, Speaks Up for Character

A Tim Tebow trade will almost certainly go down this offseason, if the team doesn’t cut its backup quarterback outright. But while he’s still a member of this terrible organization, the maligned quarterback wants to set the record straight: No, he never refused to play for the squad during last week’s game against San Diego. Because Mark Sanchez sucks , he was benched in favor of Greg McElroy, with reports then surfacing that Tebow – offended over being passed over for the gig – told Rex Ryan not to use him at all in the game. Not even in the Wildcat formation for which his skill set is supposedly made. But Tebow spoke to The New York Daily News yesterday and clarified his stance. “That wasn’t the talk at all,” Tebow said of the rumored complaint. “[Coach Ryan] knows that. And everybody on this team knows that I would never not to do something if I was asked. … “For people to not know the situation and then start to bash your character and then say you’re a phony or you’re a fake or you’re a hypocrite, I think that’s what’s disappointing and that’s what’s frustrating. Your character is who you are as a man and that’s a lot more important… I take that way more serious than I’ll ever take a football game.” Tebow was clearly brought in by New York as some kind of PR gimmick, seeing as the team hasn’t bothered to play him for any extended time. But he didn’t sound bitter in the newspaper interview. He just wanted to clear his good name and not come across as a prima donna. “You work your whole life to build a reputation,” Tebow said. “Then people try to bring you down when they don’t understand even what happened. It’s disappointing. You just want to express your side of the story… You want people to look at what really happened, not what one person said.” We believe, you, Tim Tebow. And we also believe the Jets are an awful football team.

Jerry Sandusky refuses to go away. The disgraced ex-Penn State coordinator, who was convicted in June on over 40 counts of sexual abuse and sentenced to in October to at least 30 years in prison , has released a bizarre new letter. Dated December 18, the note (addressed to The Citizen Voice , a Central Pennsylvania newspaper) decrees that “justice and fairness were not a focus” in his trial. Sandusky goes on to say: “Right now, our focus is on appeal. Time is much to learn, issues and information not presented. Nobody, who covered the case and reported it had the time or took the time to study the allegations, the accusers, the inconsistency, and the methods.” Sandusky has alleged a major conspiracy is responsible for his conviction, one that involves the media, investigators, civil attorneys and, of course, his accusers. He ends the latest example of his despicable ways by writing out an acronym for ENDURE: E — Embrace each day as a gift N — Never surrender except to God D — Don’t let your situation get the best of you U — Understand God’s purpose and presence. R — Remain as positive as possible E — Exercise your mind, body, and spirit.

Dumb rappers need teachin’ Fat Joe Faces 2 Years In Prison After Pleading Guilty To Tax Evasion Via Miami Herald Rap star “Fat Joe” faces up to two years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to failing to pay taxes on nearly $3 million in income over two years. The performer, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, entered the plea in federal court in New Jersey because some of the companies he earns money from are incorporated there. The 42-year-old Miami Beach, Fla., resident entered pleas to two counts covering years 2007 and 2008 but his sentencing will take into consideration the government’s initial allegation that he failed to pay income taxes for years 2007 through 2010. Federal prosecutors said the total tax loss to the government for those four years was $718,038. Cartagena lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman said his client “had already taken steps to resolve this situation” before he was charged. He said the rapper hoped to pay back the taxes by the time of his sentencing April 3. Looks like some of that “Make It Rain” money was supposed to go to the government. The Chiefs are stepping up to the plate… Kansas City Chiefs Cover Jovan Belcher Funeral Costs Via TMZ reports : The Kansas City Chiefs organization is paying for Jovan Belcher ‘s funeral arrangements … and has offered financial assistance to Kasandra Perkins’ family as well … TMZ has learned. Sources directly involved with the situation tell us … the Chiefs have made it clear they don’t want either family to be stuck with the massive bills stemming from the funerals or memorial services. We’re told members of Belcher’s family — which now has custody of the couple’s orphaned newborn baby — graciously accepted the offer … and the team will cover all of the costs of Belcher’s memorial in KC and funeral in NY. It’s unclear if Perkins’ family has accepted the offer as well. When called for comment, a rep for the Chiefs told us, “We are assisting both families with arrangements … We just prefer not to get into specifics of what we are doing or have done.” Calls to the Belcher and Perkins families have not been returned A very kind offer by the Chiefs to help out with the arrangements. Best wishes to both families, this was indeed a tragedy for all involved.
