Source Defends Gabriel Aubry: The Nanny Tripped!

Gabriel Aubry stands accused of not merely shoving the nanny of his three-year old daughter, Nahla, but of doing it while the woman was holding the toddler in her arms. But an insider tells Radar Online this allegation is clearly false because, come on, it just isn’t logical. “Why in the world would Gabriel push the nanny causing her to fall while she was holding his daughter?” a source says . “Gabriel is fiercely protective of Nahla. The nanny tripped, and she fell while holding Nahla. Yes, Gabriel and the nanny were arguing, he felt like his parenting skills were under attack again. Gabriel can’t believe how out of control this situation has become.” It all started on Wednesday, January 18, when Alliance Kamdem alleges she asked Aubry why Nahla was not in school. He reacted in anger and that’s when the pushing/tripping incident took place. Kamdem has since resigned her post, had her request for a restraining order against the model denied and a judge will decide on Monday whether or not Aubry can see Nahla while this investigation is ongoing.

Wale: ‘I Still Support’ Pill Despite MMG Split

‘I believe in Pill, and I’m sure Rozay believes in Pill, and we wish him the best,’ Wale tells MTV News of former Maybach Music comrade. By Rob Markman Wale Photo: MTV News There is no love lost between Maybach Music and Pill . Earlier this month, the Atlanta MC dropped a bomb when he revealed that he was working to terminate his deal with Warner Music Group and leave Rick Ross ‘ Maybach Music crew. There isn’t any beef with Wale , though; the D.C. spitter told MTV News he still supports his former MMG comrade. “Personal is personal, business is business. I’m friends with people that I’ve fired, so I’ve been in the game long enough to understand [you need to] separate the two,” Wale said Wednesday when he walked the red carpet for the reopening of Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in New York. “So shout-out to Pill and what he’s doin’.” On December 28, Pill vented via Twitter , criticizing his label for not providing enough television and radio support. Though the “Trap Goin’ Ham” MC was featured heavily on Maybach’s 2011 Self Made Vol. 1 compilation, on January 3, he told MTV News he was never actually signed to Ross’ label. According to Pill, his recording contract was with MMG’s parent label, Warner Bros. Still, P-I-Double-L was included on a number of label-driven projects, appearing on the October XXL cover with Ross and company as well as a May 2011 episode of “RapFix Live” with Rozay, Wale and Meek Mill. In the end, however, things just didn’t work out. Though Pill is obviously frustrated, he maintains that he doesn’t harbor any ill will toward anyone in MMG. “I ain’t got nothing against none of them, nobody. It’s just the situation don’t work,” Pill said matter-of-factly. “I still support what he’s doin’; it just didn’t work out on the business side,” Wale echoed. “Everybody gets chances, though. Everybody gets second, third, fourth, fifth chances. I believe in Pill, and I’m sure Rozay believes in Pill, and we wish him the best.” What do you think of Wale’s support for Pill despite the MMG split? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Wale

Jersey Shore High Five: Vinny Leaves?!

Plus: Pauly gets burned … and robbed. By Jim Cantiello Vinny on the “Jersey Shore” on Thursday night Photo: MTV Thursday night’s “Jersey Shore” brought back season-one hookups and introduced a new kleptomaniac, while Pauly’s “GTL” game is all out of whack thanks to a gnarly tanning-bed sunburn. Plus, Vinny’s anxiety disorder caught up with him and the fan favorite moved out of the house for some R&R. Oh no! Click on the embedded video below to catch my five favorite moments from this week’s “Jersey Shore.” 5. Jionni Gets Wet After the gang got caught in the rain, Snooki’s man Jionni needed some dry threads. What a guy the Situation is! Gives Jionni the clothes off his back and gives America the need for brain bleach yet again when he brings up the rumor that Snooki’s mouth and his “situation” are intimately familiar with each other. Woof. 4. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner At Karma, the girls got a little tipsy. Obvs. And Deena shared an adorable euphemism for getting her sex on. I wonder what Snooki calls it! So in other words, sex with Deena is like winning a trip to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and sex with Snooki is like a flavorless, usually dry overcooked slab of meat. Noted. 3. Face Off DJ Pauly D said, “Screw SPF” and ended up S-O-L. That sound could only mean one thing: A “Jersey Shore” r-r-r-r-r-remix!!! 2. Sticky-Fingered Hookup Later, Pauly got down a DTF girl, but as soon as the smooshing ended, Pauly’s long national nightmare began … To add insult to injury, DTF girl turned out to be Winona Ryder with a touch of that crazy Israeli girl from season one. Because the next day? “Ding dong, here’s your chain that I stole. Yay, I’m back on television! Hi, mom, I’m a star!” God help us if she keeps coming back to find her missing shoes. I’m on to you, shady lady. 1. Vinny Leaves?! Ugh, feelings? Boring! Get drunk, f— a girl … I don’t watch this show for touchy-feely crap. Boooo! But seriously, poor Vinny says he’s having severe anxiety attacks. I know what will make him feel better. Vinny, smack Snooki in the face with your balls. Still depressed? Hmm, that usually works. I don’t know what’s gonna happen! Vinny actually left?!? So now who has the biggest penis in the house? This is important, “Jersey Shore”! Don’t leave us hangin’! Pun intended? Bar Refaeli Ass in the Air of the Day

Here’s some Bar Refaeli on all fours, assuming a decent position as she works out like her life depends on it cuz her life does depend on it and this may be hot if you’re into watching chicks in tight pants work out, which I do, but I prefer to approach the situation from a far creepier angle, like from behind, where I can see sweat stains, period stains, vagina definition and more importantly imagine myself inside her as I jog on the trendmill to catch her….it’s a great weight loss method when the gym doesn’t kick you out and ban you everytime they find you in the women’s lockerroom – telling yourself “just be happy they didn’t call the cops”…. That said, for a self shot, self posted pic of a lingerie and bikini model, this shit is pretty fucking weak.

Ron Paul Accurately Predicts Future in 2002 Speech

The common knock against Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is that he is out of touch with too much of the electorate to possibly win the presidency. If that’s true, perhaps it’s the electorate’s problem, not Paul’s. In a chilling speech on April 24, 2002, the Texas Congressman outlined numerous issues he predicted would transpire over the next decade and why. Watch Paul’s address to Congress, juxtaposed with the reports of the news he saw coming, here: Ron Paul – Predictions in Due Time Basically, Ron Paul accurately predicted: The invasion of Iraq The failure of the government of Afghanistan Both political parties endorsement of military interventionalism The erosion of U.S. civil liberties and the Constitution Americans becoming poorer over the ensuing decade An international financial crisis that would decimate U.S. government finances, trigger a recession and resulting in exploding deficits for years Paul concluded his speech saying he hoped he would be wrong on all accounts. Can anyone really argue that he was – or that he’s out of touch now?

The Unit From Jersey Shore: What a Douche!

Jonny Manfre, a.k.a. The Unit, is making his presence felt in the new season of Jersey Shore – for better or worse. So who is the Situation’s right-hand, pot-stirring man? On the Season 5 premiere of the MTV hit, the gang returned from Italy to a welcome home bash in Seaside. Snooki’s BFF Ryder and The Unit were among the attendees. It got awkward fast. Not only did Ryder ride The Unit at some point, but Jonny M. also witnessed the alleged Snooki-Situation hookup – to Mike’s everlasting delight. Because we know you’re DYING to know, here are some fun Unit facts: He’s Mike’s BFF. Seriously. Two peas in a PED-enhanced pod. He is dating a girl named Amia Miley (pictured) somehow: The Unit, a Situation original nickname, refers to what you think it does. Gross. He allegedly smushed Ryder while Snooki served Sitch right next to him. Gross. Unit joined Mike’s plot to fake rat out Snooki to Jionni just for fun in Season 4. He was arrested outside the Seaside house during Season 5 with a “mysterious powdery white substance” and faces drug possession charges as a result. He was recently, and still may be, in a relationship with an “award-winning porn actress.” Sigh. Huge letdown for you ladies out there, we’re sure.

Las Vegas Set To Launch EDM Into High Gear In 2012

Marquee Nightclub’s one-year anniversary rings in new year with performances by Avicii, Kaskade. By Sam Hendrick Kaskade celebrates New Year’s Eve at Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas Photo: Ethan Miller/ Getty Images Two years ago, we probably wouldn’t be writing this story. In fact, nobody would be. But dance music has taken Sin City by storm so rapidly that it’s simply impossible to ignore. Last year drew America’s largest EDM festival to Las Vegas. And with it came a core of A-list international acts passing through town and calling many of the city’s hottest venues home, turning America’s Playground into what some called America’s Ibiza . As the American palate skews ever toward dance, Las Vegas club life is healthier than ever. MTV News ventured back to the desert to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Marquee Nightclub and further prove that this EDM mecca is not only thriving but poised to smash 2012. “I think it’s only fitting that we ended the year with two amazing artists [Kaskade and Avicii],” said Jason Strauss, owner and co-founder of Strategic Group, the entity behind Marquee, Tao and LAVO. “To have an explosive partner artist like Tim [Avicii] to be with us is going to be historic for us and really tie in this whole year the way it should be”. Marquee certainly has reason to celebrate. In just one year, it’s been able to obtain a power lineup of residencies from the likes of Above & Beyond, ATB, Benny Benassi, Chuckie, Dirty South, Erick Morillo, Kaskade, Markus Schulz and Redfoo. Add Hardwell and a half dozen new DJs to the 2012 lineup, along with cutting-edge sight and sound, and it’s clear that Marquee has planted a flag in the upper echelon of the Vegas EDM scene. “I really like the club feeling of Marquee,” Avicii (born Tim Bergling) said prior to his set. “The production is amazing and that kind of creates a really unique vibe from the DJ perspective.” This past weekend, the mega venue started off in high gear with a staggering 12-hour set from Kaskade , followed by an anniversary show from Avicii, who just a couple of years ago, couldn’t even buy a lady a drink. “I had my first gig at Wet Republic about two years ago and they wouldn’t even let me into the club,” he recalled. “They had two guards escort me to the DJ booth and then straight off because of alcohol and everything.” Avicii and a slew of other influential players have partnered with some of the world’s premier venues to bring EDM into the heart of American cool culture. “It’s been big all throughout America, but I think this is where you can really see it because you get the biggest DJs in the world playing here every week,” Avicii said. “I don’t know any other place that has the same lineups that Vegas does.” “Everyone goes there. People from all kinds, all sorts, they like all kinds of music,” Fedde le Grand recently told MTV News. “It’s very important that dance music is in Vegas because people from all around come. Especially with dance music, you have to experience it to really get it.” EDM’s influence in Vegas has become so prominent that the city has declared an official holiday honoring one of the genre’s biggest names. Mayor Carolyn Goodman has issued a proclamation officially declaring January 2, 2012, “deadmau5 Day” in the City of Las Vegas, marking the date deadmau5 launched his exclusive partnership with Wynn Las Vegas. Do you plan to be in Vegas in 2012? Tell us which EDM artist you’d like to see while in Sin City in the comments below!

‘Jersey Shore’ Girls Dish On ‘The Unit’

‘He’s like Mike times 10 … It’s not attractive,’ Snooki tells MTV News. By Christina Garibaldi “Jersey Shore” stars Snooki, Deena, JWoww, and Sammi Photo: MTV News In the season five premiere, “Jersey Shore” picks up right where it left off, bringing nothing but drama. But this time, it was brought by someone from outside the house: Jonny “The Unit.” During the premiere episode on Thursday, Mike “The Situation” introduces us to his best friend, who wasted no time stirring up tension among Snooki, her boyfriend Jionni and Mike. ” ‘The Unit’ is another part of Mike,” Deena told MTV News. “He’s like Mike’s unit, it’s kind of unreal. He kind of, like, gives Mike more ‘umph’ to be, like, a jerk.” Snooki added, “He’s like Mike times 10, so it’s, like, gross, gross, gross. It’s not attractive.” In the season five kickoff, the housemates immediately go from the cobblestone streets of Florence to the boardwalk of Seaside, New Jersey. To celebrate their big return, the crew is given a surprise homecoming party, which brought out everyone’s friends and family. Yet the celebration quickly turned sour when “The Unit” threatened to tell Snooki’s boyfriend, Jionni, that he witnessed she and “The Situation” hooking up — a story line that was heavily followed during season four in Florence. “I think in Italy it was all drama because we missed home and obviously some people were stirring up unnecessary, fake rumors in the house,” Snooki told MTV News before the premiere. “So when we get back to Jersey, you’re gonna see that pan out more.” It doesn’t seem like we’ve seen the last of “The Unit.” After the two had a heated conversation at the welcome-home party, Snooki offered an apology, which he reluctantly accepted — for now. What did you think of “The Unit?” Let us know in the comments. Don’t miss every Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. For continuing “Shore” coverage, be sure to check in with MTV’s Remote Control blog.
