Snooki and the Situation Pull Ahead in Jersey Shore Salary Game

Two Jersey Shore cast members are going rogue after their united strike for a pay raise. Snooki, a.k.a. Schnickers, a.k.a. America’s Schneetheart, a.k.a. a talking McNugget from an ’80s McDonald’s commercial , has struck a deal to be paid “substantially more money than before” for the next Jersey Shore half-season. Her co-star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, is rumored to receive between $27,500 and $45,000 in his special exclusive deal with MTV. That’s a lot of money to work at a t-shirt shop and point at your abdomen. [ TMZ ]

Heidi Montag Doesn’t Think It’s ‘Funny’ That Snooki Wants To Punch Her

‘Jersey Shore’ star said of Montag, ‘I will punch her in the face because I don’t like her.’ By Jocelyn Vena Heidi Montag Photo: Getty Images Just as Heidi Montag’s show “The Hills” wraps up for good and Snooki’s second season of “Jersey Shore” is set to debut on July 29 , the two ladies have gotten themselves into a bit of a feud. Snooki sat down with Perez Hilton for a chat and made some disparaging comments about Heidi. “I will punch her in the face because I don’t like her,” Snooki told Hilton when asked if Heidi should join her show. “She had too many surgeries. She looks like an alien and guidettes don’t look like aliens, just saying.” Snooki was then asked if Heidi had said anything in the past to prompt such a reaction. She explained, “I don’t know [if she said anything about me]. I don’t research Heidi because she’s nothing to me.” Snooki’s own career was brought up, and when asked whether she’s worried about her own pop culture relevance, Snooki revealed her business model, which turns out to be similar to Montag’s. “That concerns me a little bit. That’s why I’m trying to do as much as I can right now. I have a clothing line coming out and then my hair [line] is Snook-it, [using] hairspray and a teasing comb,” she said. “My book’s coming out about how I view the world. I don’t want to put everything out at once.” Heidi caught wind of Snooki’s feelings about her, thanks to a tweet or two from Perez Hilton, and reacted to the news. “@PerezHilton for a girl who was punched in the face I would think she of all people would know that is not a funny thing to joke about,” she wrote . “@PerezHilton You have also been punched so I would think you would understand that is crossing the line and I don’t think that is funny.” What do you think of the Heidi/ Snooki feud? When it comes to hooking up, ‘definitely Jersey, because that’s where the guidos live!’ Snooki declares to MTV News. By MTV News staff Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Photo: MTV News Fergie, Enrique Iglesias, LMFAO, Lil Jon. The upcoming Jersey Shore Soundtrack, inspired by the show in all its tanned and tequila’d glory, boasts some of the biggest acts in music. But while “Jersey Shore” star Snooki has love for all of the featured artists, she had no problem naming her favorite track on the disc when MTV News caught up with her on the album release party red carpet at New York City’s Marquee nightclub on Tuesday. “My favorite track is obviously Pauly D’s track,” she told us about her fellow castmate. “It’s his first track on an album, and I’m very proud of him.” But Pauly isn’t the only “Shore” star with a new single. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has also recorded a club-ready song, in which he raps, “I ain’t at a bar to get drunk alone/ I’m gonna take a hottie home.” “Mike’s track is pretty good,” Snooki said. “I’m proud of him.” She’d be happy to listen to either one while partying at clubs on the familiar Seaside Heights boardwalk or near the hot sands of Miami, where the cast traveled to shoot season two of their show. Just don’t ask Snooki to pick which town has the hotter nightspots. “Miami definitely has a lot of good clubs, and so does Jersey,” she said. “The only thing that’s good about Miami is they’re open till 6 in the morning. Jersey closes at 2 a.m., so that kind of sucks.” And what of the clubgoers in each locale? When it comes to bumping-and-grinding and locking lips, which town comes out the winner? “Better hookups, definitely Jersey,” Snooki declared, “because that’s where the guidos live!” Season two of “Jersey Shore” premieres Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. By Jocelyn Vena Snooki appears on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV News “Jersey Shore” star Nicole Polizzi is better known as Snooki these days, but back in high school the MTV reality darling was a bit of a tomboy. And on the latest “When I Was 17,” the TV star admitted that she had one dangerous and scary incident while four-wheeling. “So growing up [I was] very into, like, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, snowboarding,” Snooki recalled in this week’s episode, which also features “Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek and N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams. It seemed that her love of four-wheeling got her into a little bit of trouble. “So one day, I was 17, and my girl came over and we decided to go four-wheeling,” she said. “So me and her are driving on the road and I pass this really hot senior’s house. He’s outside watering his plants with his shirt off.” This obviously caught Snooki’s attention. Her pal Stephanie added, “It was this guy that we all thought was gorgeous and, of course, Nicole got distracted.” “I turned my head,” Snooki further explained about the incident. “And I noticed that I’m going into this bank [at] 20 miles per hour [and] ran into the bank. The four-wheeler tumbled three times. My girlfriend jumped off [and] skinned her knee. You could see her knee bone and I got stuck under the four-wheeler. I couldn’t move anything just because I looked at this boy because his shirt was off.” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Snooki, James Van Der Beek and Pharrell Williams — airs Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV.
