Kanye West has an easy explanation for why he rushed the stage at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, nearly interrupting Beck’s Album of the Year acceptance speech before heading back to his seat. Because he’s crazy pants! “Right when that happened, everybody was looking at me, and then people started screaming, ‘Kanye! Kanye! Go do it!'” Kanye told Ryan Seacrest on the radio this morning. “Okay, that didn’t really happen, these were voices in my head. So the voices in my head told me to go up, and then I just walked up, like, halfway up the stage.” West laughed after letting Beck finish, but he was dead serious an hour or so later when slamming the Grammys for giving Beck an award in the first place. He felt as if Beyonce should have won Album of the Year. But he sounded a different tune upon speaking to Seacrest today. At least to some degree. “Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game. So there’s nothing that I would want to do as a fellow musician to disrespect him in any way,” the rapper said. Mr. Kim Kardashian even feels bad about saying the Grammys should have respected artistry by honoring Beyonce. “I think it came off the wrong way, and that was a mis-wording on my part, because obviously Beck is one of the most respected artists and respects artistry.” So why did Kanye go off in such a manner after the show? Police probing yesterday’s fatal car addictent involving Bruce Jenner want to see his phone records and the phone itself, likely to see if he was texting and driving. Saturday on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Bruce Jenner was involved in a car crash in which one person died and seven were injured. The 65-year-old Olympic champion himself was unharmed. Jenner already volunteered to go to a nearby hospital to have blood drawn for alcohol testing, and authorities determined that he was not speeding. Law enforcement sources also say Bruce tried to avoid the accident, as the tires on trailer (behind his SUV) produced significant skid marks. At the last minute, Bruce’s car swerved to the right, but was unable to avoid the Lexus, which it hit, and caused to swing left into oncoming traffic. A Hummer hit the Lexus, killing the Lexus driver. The actions of Prius driver, who was hit from behind by the Lexus in the chain reaction, have also been the subject of some debate by investigators. That driver told police she stopped at a red light, but was about 300 feet away from one, and has given what authorities describe as a “vague” account. In case you’re not already aware: Dan Bilzerian is an Instagram celebrity . But that description doesn’t quite do him justice. He’s more like a walking caricature of manliness – a bearded brute who’s primary interests are firearms, stacks of cash and scantily-clad women. It’s impossible to make sense of why a beautiful, beloved, well-off 21-year-old with a blossoming music career would set off on the same self-destructive path that claimed her mother’s life, but one insider says those who know Bobbi best had long feared for her health and well-being. “Her self-destruction went from zero to one hundred the day her mother died,” says the source. The unidentified insider adds that the death of Whitney Houston was the beginning of the end for Bobbi, as they’d shared an unusually close bond since she was a child: “Whitney shared too much information about the marriage with Bobbi. It made Bobbi gravitate more toward Whitney’s feelings and that’s why she grew to resent Bobby.” The source says Bobby and Whitney’s troubled marriage profoundly influenced the relationship between Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon : “In Bobbi’s mind, [she and Gordon] were Bonnie and Clyde against the world, high and happy, eerily similar to the relationship Whitney had with Bobbi.
