‘Hills’ Buzz Moment #4: Heidi Moves Out … And On

When Heidi moved in with Spencer, her friendship with LC forever changed. By Jocelyn Vena Heidi Montag Photo: Ray Tamarra/ Getty Images Over the course of the five seasons Lauren Conrad was on “The Hills,” there was no shortage of drama between LC and onetime pal Heidi Montag. Back in the day, these two girls weren’t just best friends, they were also roommates. With the show’s final season kicking off Tuesday, there was one moment that became the turning point in their friendship — and it comes in at #4 on our list of the most buzzed-about “Hills” moments. In the first episode of season one, fans could see that LC and Heidi were two very different girls , but it was also evident that they had each other’s backs. Over time, the two ladies’ opinions would really differ when it came to a guy named Spencer Pratt. “He’s not a good person,” LC told Montag about her now-husband. “I’m telling you that because I’m your friend.” It wasn’t until Heidi decided to move in with Spencer that things really started to heat up. Even though her friendship with Lauren was already on the brink, Heidi was convinced they could make it work. LC realized at the time that Heidi’s exit would be the end of their friendship, but like any good pal, she told her, “You know you can always come back.” ‘The Hills’ Most Buzzed-About Moments – #5: Kristin Cavallari Declares War – #6: Heidi And Spencer’s Many Weddings – #7: Holly Gets Tipsy At Speidi’s Rehearsal Dinner – #8: Heidi Montag Crashes Lauren’s Party – #9: Justin Is Renamed ‘Justin Bobby’ – #10: Stephanie Pratt’s Job Interview In the end, LC was right. Stephanie Pratt Defends Speidi, Role Model Status

Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag have been in the news lately, conducting a personal stress test on the theory that any publicity is good publicity. Between Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery , Spencer’s Twitter outbursts at Audrina Patridge, Kate Hudson and others, his involuntary Hills leave, and her sexual harassment the show’s creator, it’s been a whirlwind of bad PR. But Stephanie Pratt thinks you can still look up to Speidi. “I think we’ve all grown up,” she said of her co-stars and family members at Thursday’s Hot Hollywood party at Drai’s Hollywood inside the W Hollywood. “The problem is that anything bad we do is so magnified,” explained younger Pratt. “We all do a pretty good job of being OK role models for everyone.” To Stephanie Pratt, Speidi still meets role model criteria . Of the couple’s alleged sexual harassment suit against Adam DiVello , which they later jettisoned, she said, “I really stay out of it. I don’t know what’s going on.” In January, the younger Pratt had some role model setbacks of her own after she was sentenced to three years of probation following her October 2009 DUI. Her own physical appearance has also transformed dramatically of late. “Thank god for being on the show,” she said. “Because it really has helped my style and appearance.” Oh yes, it’s totally been a good thing, absolutely. You can also thank PETA for showing us Stephanie Pratt nude . Holla!

‘The Hills’ Stars Pick Their Favorite Moments

Kristin, Stephanie, Lo and Audrina look back on fights, breakups and much more drama. By Jocelyn Vena Kristin Cavallari Photo: Miranda Penn Turin With the sixth and final season of “The Hills” set to bow on Tuesday, and MTV News already counting down the show’s top 10 most buzzed-about moments , it seemed like the perfect time to ask the “Hills” cast to weigh in on some of their own favorite moments. Here, Audrina, Lo, Stephanie and Kristin share their picks for the most memorable (and often shocking) episodes. Kristin Cavallari “The one that really stands out the most for me was the first episode that I was on [in the second half of season five]. … The fight that I got into with Audrina and Stephanie was so out of left field,” Cavallari told MTV News. “And it was the last thing I was expecting to happen, and it was probably one of the biggest fights I’ve ever been in. So that was the moment that just really stands out the most for me.” Stephanie Pratt “I know what my most shocking was,” she said. “When Lauren showed up to Heidi and Spencer’s wedding. I was the only one shocked.” Lo Bosworth “I think my most shocking moment hasn’t exactly come to life yet on TV, because we haven’t seen the episodes yet. I am really looking forward to seeing all the crazy on this current season. I feel like we have never gone into all the stuff we’re touching on [in season six],” she teased. “The surgeries, the partying … we’ve really never gone that far even if it’s going on. We’ve just touched on boyfriends and friendships. I think this season will be more real.” Audrina Patridge “There’s so many favorite moments,” Patridge said. “It’s funny, because watching the show with the music, it makes it so emotional. So there’s been a lot of moments, fun moments, like going on vacation and just having fun with each other. There’s been so many dramatic moments and fights and tears and ups-and-downs of friendships and relationships, so really watching those — I mean, at the finale, we are probably all going to start crying. It is going to be a sad, sad moment.” “Hills” fans wouldn’t argue that there have been so many dramatic occasions, they’re almost too numerous to count. But MTV News has managed to narrow it down to 10. We’re already halfway through, starting with Stephanie Pratt’s disastrous People’s Revolution job interview. The infamous renaming of Audrina’s on-off boyfriend Justin Bobby came in at #9, while the #8 spot went to Heidi Montag for crashing Lauren’s Teen Vogue party. At #7 is the speech delivered by a tipsy Holly Montag at Speidi’s wedding rehearsal dinner , followed by the many weddings of Heidi and Spencer at #6. Which “Hills” star do you think had the most drama? Let us know in the comments! “The Hills: Final Season” premieres Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Kate Gosselin: Eliminated, Alone, Mocked By Kids

Kate Gosselin was emotional after being voted off Dancing with the Stars . She’s also upset that no man will ever love her, her own children tease her, DWTS co-stars dubbed her”Hate Gosselin” and strangers slash her tires. It’s worth noting that the amusing last four Kate fun facts are courtesy of the new issue of In Touch Weekly , and therefore are likely completely bogus. Well, maybe not the Hate Gosselin moniker. We can see that. As sad as she is about leaving, and about life, however, she says the kids are worse. Though she claims she is okay leaving, her eight children “will be upset, definitely,” she said. “They will be shattered, in fact.” What total bull$h!t . Kate claims her elimination “crushed” her kids. Someone needs to crush her. She said she’s not “letting them watch” her elimination, so “they’ll be OK. They’ll be glad to have me back, but won’t get to see me dance anymore. It’s tough.” Also tough? Dying alone and getting teased by your own kids when your dancing sucks. Gotta be brutal. Here’s “Hate” receiving the final verdict last night … Kate Gosselin Eliminated Are you sad Kate Gosselin was eliminated?

Stephanie Pratt: Nude For PETA

Stephanie Pratt is taking it all off for a good cause. Bunnies. The Hills star and sister of Spencer Pratt is posing nude for a new PETA iPhone app called “Be Nice to Bunnies,” which lists products that aren’t tested on animals. Apple deemed the app cover too risque, so she’ll appear fully clothed on iPhones. But fear not, you will get to see Stephanie Pratt nude in the print campaign … We’re all about banning animal testing on bunnies, but Stephanie Pratt might try eating one … or at least some kind of protein. Girl’s looking a little thin . “I want to help consumers be informed and keep them compassionate,” says Stephanie Pratt , even if all people will be doing is ogling her naked … side. The likes of Khloe Kardashian, Eva Mendes, Alicia Silverstone and Pamela Anderson have also shed all clothing for the fame-seeking animal-rights group. PETA was pissed at Kim Kardashian for karelessly klutching a kitty, though, so being eager to remove all clothes doesn’t necessarily endear them to you.

‘I will have a closet the size of a house,’ Stephanie Pratt says about her future. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Larry Carroll Stephanie Pratt Photo: MTV News Though the upcoming season of “The Hills” will be its last, star Stephanie Pratt is confident that in just six seasons, the series has left its mark on the world of reality TV. “It’s hard to get nostalgic yet, since we just started filming this season, and it hasn’t even aired yet,” she told MTV News on the red carpet of the “Clash of the Titans” red carpet in L.A. on Wednesday night. “It’s definitely sad to know that we’re not going to see the crew every day. … I know I’ll see the girls all the time. And the legacy — it was such a huge phenomenon. It’s really, really special to be a part of something like this. The fact that it had six seasons, I think, says everything.” So, could she see a reunion in 30 years after the season debuts this April 27? “I think that would be really fun to do,” she said. “I don’t know about a show, but some kind of reunion to see what we all look like and stuff.” Pratt shared her predictions for what life after “The Hills” would hold for her and her friends. “I will have a closet the size of a house,” she mused. “That’s what I’m looking for. I just want a closet, a really big one. “Lo is gonna be married with kids. Brody will be like the bachelor, still getting all the hot Italian girls,” she joked. “Spencer and Heidi? I have no idea; they always surprise me. I really don’t even know what’s going on with them. And Audrina will be an actress. ‘The Hills’ Stars Call Final Season ‘Bittersweet’

‘It’s sad! We’ve been together for so long,’ Audrina Patridge says of sixth and final season, debuting April 27. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kelly Marino Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth Photo: MTV News In the just-debuted “Hills” trailer, fans got a sneak peek at all the highs and lows expected in the show’s final season , debuting April 27. While it might be a surprise to viewers that the show has decided to hang up its hat, the stars anticipated that, like all good things, this too would come to an end. “It’s sad! We’ve been together for so long,” Audrina Patridge told MTV News over the weekend. “I’m going to be 25 this year, so that’s been my life for the last five years. And it’s sad to let go of that, because it’s something that I’ve become so used to, and it’s so easy and natural. But at the same time, it’s nice to graduate, and I’m ready to move on and do the next big thing.” While Kristin Cavallari’s time on the show was considerably shorter than Patridge’s, the show’s new star said it still isn’t easy to say goodbye. “When I found out that this was the last season of ‘The Hills,’ I was kind of expecting it. I wasn’t expecting it before the season actually premiered, though,” she said. “It’s bittersweet. I think it’s kind of time, and everyone’s ready to move on and do other things, but it’s … going to be sad.” Like Cavallari, Lo Bosworth appeared on both “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” and says that seeing the show come to an end is a bit of a strange experience. “We were, I think, anticipating it was going to come to an end, but it’s sort of surreal, ’cause this has been our lives,” she said. “And to have that change is sort of scary, but we’re all really excited.” Stephanie Pratt thinks now is a good time to end the show, since everyone’s lives are a lot more settled now than when the show started in May 2006. “I called Lo right after I heard just to see if she knew. … I pretty much figured it was the last season,” she said. “We all have really grown up, and we really don’t go to nightclubs every night anymore. We’re just, like, more mature. I mean, we still fight with each other, but it’s the sixth season. I’ve never known a reality show to go as far as ‘The Hills.’ ” What was your reaction when you found out “The Hills” was ending? Tell us in the comments! “The Hills: Final Season” premieres April 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Related Videos ‘The Hills’ Final Season Trailer Premiere

Spencer Pratt Calls Out "Diva" Heidi Montag

Heidi Montag was a major diva at a recent Hills photo shoot. That’s not surprising in the least. What is a bit unexpected is that this report comes straight from the mouth of her husband and pimp, Spencer Pratt. Monday, Heidi Montag showed up with four bodyguards and Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth were all “shocked.” She then “refused to take part in a group shot, even though she had agreed to it beforehand.” MTV will digitally insert her in later, it was reported. Spencer Pratt says of her alleged diva behavior, “It’s all true,” though he adds “She was sick and she didn’t even want to go to that photo shoot!” PLASTIC PRINCESS : Heidi Montag’s behavior on the set of The Hills can’t even be explained away by Spencer Pratt anymore. Not a good sign. [Photo: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com] Montag posted a photo of her posing with six bodyguards. Pratt says her entourage is nothing new. “She always travels with security,” Pratt explained. When asked about her behavior on the set that floored her Hills co-stars, a source says that she replied, “I’m a movie star now!” Well, she wants to be . She just finished filming her cameo on Just Go With It , which stars Jennifer Aniston, and apparently thinks she is all that now. No big surprise there. As for Spencer Pratt, he’s no saint himself, having been forced to take a six-week leave after “flipping out” on a female producer on the set of The Hills. The final season of The Hills premieres April 27. If reports like this are any indication, maybe it’s for the best that the long-running series fade to black.
