Virginia Wyche, 35, also known as “Tweety Bird” around town, is accused of turning the gun on her pal Markeisha Brooks, 23, in the streets of Jacksonville Wednesday. “They were arguing out front, something about Facebook. I walked out and just heard a pop,” local man Christopher Cash told station WAWS. Cash shot footage of Brooks slouched in a chair, clutching her stomach, just moments after the shot rang out. Markeisha was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her family said she survived. The video shows an officer arresting Wyche at the scene. She appeared in court Thursday morning and is being held on a $1 million bond, authorities said. The suspect’s mother, Lillian Jordan, said the news is difficult to bear especially because she was “not raised like this.” “Somebody had to provoke my child … to do what she (did),” Jordan told WJXT Jacksonville.
