Debbie Allen Says Cosby Rape Allegations Are Hard To Believe Bill Cosby is garnering support from one of his closest collaborators. In the midst of 20 rape allegations against the formerly celebrated comedian, Debbie Allen, who worked closely with Cosby during “A Different World,” has stepped up to say that though the allegations are horrible, she stuggles with believing that her friend and colleague is capable of what well over a dozen women accuse. Via HuffPost : In recent weeks, the list of celebrities who have publicly defended Bill Cosby against his multiple sexual abuse accusations have included from Jill Scott, Whoopi Goldberg, and Cee Lo Green. And now longtime Cosby associate, Debbie Allen has shared her thoughts regarding accusations made by several women against the legendary comedian. While promoting her upcoming BET holiday musical “The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” this week, the multi-talented actress-choreographer, who served as a producer on “A Different World” for 122 episodes, joined Kathie Lee & Hoda during an interview on the TODAY show admitting the accusations are “hard to believe.” “I don’t think we can have this conversation honestly in two minutes. It begs to ask a bigger question. Where’s the moral spine in America and in the world today? Because how are we raising our daughters, our sons? Where are we looking for the guidance of how we’re supposed to live,” the Golden Globe Award-winner asked before adding, “Cosby gave us one of the greatest shows in history, and redefined the perception of black people all over the world.” “At the same time, I’m a part of One Billion Rising,” she continued. “This is a movement for women to stand up against violence and denigration of women. This is a tough situation, and it’s just hard to believe. I don’t know. I think that so much time has passed before they all have kind of have come together…there’s a big question that my mother ask me every day, ‘Why now? Because… FLORIDA Florida Man Stuffs Meat Down His Pants Remember when we told you about that Florida man who was arrested for stuffing cow tongue down his pants ??? Well there’s apparently another meat bandit on the scene who recently crushed his crotch with a variety of meats before “escaping” on a bike. NWF Daily News reports: A 41-year-old man is accused of fleeing on a bicycle after stuffing a variety of meats in his pants. Fort Walton Beach police were called on Nov. 26, according to the arrest report. The man was allegedly seen in Publix putting a ribeye steak and a New York Strip steak down his pants and a pork tenderloin in his front pocket before leaving the store. An employee confronted the man near the front of the store, but he fled out the door, the report said. Outside, he got on a white bicycle and rode away, pursued by two customers until police arrived and arrested him. The meat was valued at $37.92, according to the report. He is charged with retail theft and resisting a retail merchant. His next scheduled court date is Dec. 16. SMH…

Black Couple Strip Searched Over $3 Earrings At Beauty Supply Store SMH. According to KHOU Houston: Deadra Pattum and her fiancé John Marsden have a bone to pick with Y Beauty Supply in southeast Houston. The couple said they were humiliated inside the store last week when they stopped by to purchase some hair extensions. “I’m not a thief,” said Pattum. They said they were over-billed for a pair of $3 earrings they never took. “I picked them up but I put them back,” said Pattum. “The owner said you people always steal,” said Marsden. “And he said give me the earrings and I call police. My rights were revoked. The couple claimed they were threatened and forced to remain in that store. Marsden said he was intimidated by the manager and ordered to strip down and be searched. “So I took off my socks and shoes and I took off my pants,” said Marsden. “I was nervous.” Within minutes, a security officer showed up, and immediately looked at the surveillance video. “She never left the counter with those earrings in her hand,” the guard said. “There was no evidence of shoplifting.” Houston Police agreed. Their officers looked at the same video and found no evidence of shoplifting. Activist Quanell X is now involved. “This was a classic case of racial profiling in its most humiliating form,” said Quanell X. “And something needs to be done about this.” The owners of the store refused to discuss the specific incident but said shoplifting is a big problem at their business. But Pattum insists she and her fiancé did nothing wrong. “Everybody doesn’t shoplift,” said Pattum. “Everybody is not a thief. There are still honest people in the world.” Wow.
