My name is Michelle and my best friend is Amanda. We live in…

My name is Michelle and my best friend is Amanda. We live in South Florida and on February 5, 2012, the luckiest moment of our lives happened . It started out that Justin Bieber was in Miami at the recording studio working on his new album “Believe”. I had heard about it and wanted to go so badly to go meet him! On Thursday, after begging my mom, she didn’t want to take me because it wasn’t in the very best neighborhood. Friday, same thing. I cried so much! But then Saturday came. My daddy’s girlfriend looked at me and goes, “Is Justin gonna be here tonight?” My eyes went HUGE and I go, “YES! WHY?!” She told me, “Tonight. We’re going.”  I SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS THAT THE WHOLE STREET COULD PROBABLY HEAR ME. I couldn’t get my hopes up too much cause what if Justin didn’t come out of the studio cause he was too busy?  On the way there, all that was going through our minds was, “Is this REALLY the day we meet Justin?!” There were at least 35 other girls when we got there at 9:00 pm. We were all standing on the other side of the street. The owner of the studio talked to us about how we can’t get too excited and destroy his plants outside, and not to scream at every car cause they’re not all Justin!  But all of a sudden, we see a black car and Moshe was driving! WE ALL KNEW JUSTIN WAS IN THAT CAR!  We ran up against the gate and pressed our faces through the bars! Unfortunately, Justin crawled out so we didn’t even see him at all! 1 hour later, still no Justin. But by this time, there were at least 400 Beliebers there. Timbaland came out and signed autographs, we saw Lil Twist come out of his car and then ALFREDO FLORES comes out! He came over and said “Hey!” and Amanda gave him her camera; he grabbed it and took a picture with us! Even though you can’t see our faces, WE STILL GOT A PICTURE! He’s so funny and nice too! 2 hours later, by this point, Amanda and I had bruises on my arms from holding onto the gate, our feet were cramping up from standing on the gate bars, the bushes and leaves behind us were getting all up in our hair and ants crawling up our legs! It was so bad! THE THINGS WE DO FOR THIS BOY! But hey…we were already there. We weren’t leaving or giving up.  WE WERE GONNA MEET JUSTIN THAT DAY. A few minutes later, we suddenly saw Justin walk across the hall in the studio. I SCREAMED SO LOUD! He was wearing all black, and a black beanie. He looked so hot. Then, 11:11 came, and obviously we both wished for the chance to meet Justin that night. Little did we know what would happen next. This guy named Rick who is a music producer of Timbaland (@ BigRicknyc) got out of a car. I had no idea who he was at first. But my dad started calling his name! I was so confused like WHAT? MY DAD KNOWS HIM!? Rick starts walking our way. My dad’s like “Hey! It’s Rob! Do you remember me?” Rick smiled and said, “Yes! You helped fix my car a few times! What are you doing here?” And my dad told him, “I’m making my daughter’s dream come true and her best friend too.” Rick goes, “Who’s your daughter?” I raised my hand up and said ME!!!!!!! Rick laughed and told us to walk to the front of the gate. At this point, I was getting nervous. He told the security guard to let us in through the other side, and at THAT POINT, AMANDA AND I WERE REALLY FREAKING OUT. All these other people were following us trying to sneak in with us, but the guard didn’t let them through. We walked in and all the Beliebers on the gates were hating on us so badly and yelling at us! I had my hand over my mouth just flipping out. Rick brought us into the studio and we sat and talked with him for a little bit while he got a haircut. Then 10 minutes later, it was 12:55 and all you could hear was screaming outside! I knew Justin was out! We ran outside and Rick told us not to freak out and just stay calm. I gave him this look like, “Are you joking? Justin is standing a few feet from me and you want me to STAY CALM?!” Haha but I did. We waited for Justin as he went around signing autographs for his Beliebers. My legs were shaking, heart was racing a million miles, and I couldn’t stand still. Justin then started walking over to us. I was freaking out. He took a picture first with this other family. After that, it was OUR TURN. He looked at my shirt and smiled, and then at my face.  HE WAS LOOKING AT ME. Best feeling ever! He motioned for us to go over to him and I stood on the left, and Amanda on the right of him. Hugging Justin Bieber… was this really happening? There were so many cameras flashing that we didn’t know which one to look at! Everything was so rushed, and he had to go in a hurry. I couldn’t even breathe, and I was so speechless that I didn’t even say “Hi” to him! I couldn’t move! Justin jumped into the car and Beliebers attacked the car and hitting the window, omg it was insane! I looked at Amanda and we just froze.  WE FINALLY MET JUSTIN BIEBER. AFTER 3 YEARS, WE GOT WHAT WE WANTED.  Rick made my dreams come true. All the other Beliebers had to stand against the gate and get of picture of him , while we got our own personal picture with him. I feel so lucky and blessed. On the way home, I started getting tears in my eyes. When I finally got home, I looked at that picture we took with Justin and just couldn’t believe it. My dream had FINALLY come true. Justin FINALLY noticed us. We waited 4 hours to see Justin, from February 4 th , until 1:00 am February 5 th ! It was worth it! All these people doubted us and said we’d never meet Justin and we told them, “Watch me.” Well, now we can check that off the list! I (Michelle) was 15 that day, but my birthday is on the 13 th . BEST EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER. THANK YOU SO MUCH RICK FOR LETTING US IN! AND THANK YOU JUSTIN FOR MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE! I never thought I’d be writing my Bieber experience, but miracles really do happen. Seriously… NEVER SAY NEVER. – @JBieber4lyf & @BieberFansMiami More: My name is Michelle and my best friend is Amanda. We live in…

Transgender Woman Stabbed To Death While Walking Across The Street In DC, One-Time Releases Video Person Of Interest [Video]

MPD has released video showing a person of interest in the stabbing death of a transgender woman earlier this week. The woman, identified as 23-year-old JaParker Jones a/k/a Deoni and Logan, of Northeast DC, was stabbed in the head on Thursday night at a NE bus stop and died Friday. The subject is crossing the middle of the intersection in this video below. He is seen crossing the street toward the top of the screen as he approaches the bus stop. He is described as a black male with medium complexion, 30-40 years of age, with a beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath. METRO Transit Police tell 9NewsNow that the stabbing happened Thursday night in the 4900 block of East Capitol Street, at a bus stop. The victim apparently had an altercation with another individual, a black male in his forties, wearing a striped hat and a black coat. That suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the head. She fell to the ground. Passersby flagged down a passing Metro Transit Police officer who administered aid until ambulance workers took over and took the victim to Prince George’s County Hospital Center. It was not until she was on the operating table in grave condition that doctors determined that she was transgender. Earlier Thursday, Russell Brock-Smith was sentenced to 15 years in prison for attacking a transgender woman in broad daylight in Northwest Washington last summer. Police say the 26 year old tried to steal the victim’s purse but, when she refused to give up the purse, he pulled her hair, punched her in the head, and tried to pull her into a nearby alley. A jury convicted him of assault with intent to rob. Source More On Bossip! All-American Rejects Go All Out For ‘Beekeeper’s Daughter’ Video

Just-released clip has warring hipsters, a mariachi band … and Wayne Newton. By James Montgomery All-American Rejects’ Tyson Ritter in the “Beekeeper’s Daughter” music video It’s been a while — like, almost three years — since the All-American Rejects have made a music video, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that, when they got the go-ahead to shoot a clip for “Beekeeper’s Daughter” (the first single from their upcoming Kids in the Street album), they decided to go all out. “This was the first video where, when we got [the treatment], everyone said ‘yes’ and I said ‘yes … but could we please have some of this?’ And I proceeded to sort of expel every fantastic idea I could think of,” frontman Tyson Ritter explained. “From, like, a hipster fight — beards versus mustaches, a lot of plaid, had to be like ‘West Side Story’ — to some she-devils. Everything we could ever sort of think of for a video that was impractical is in this one. “And the whole thing is floating on a through-line of a man walking through his day, experiencing every random encounter from every random walk of life,” he continued. “And at the very end, there’s a big parade with Wayne Newton.” And Ritter’s not exaggerating either. Because the “Beekeeper’s” video — which premiered Friday (February 3) — is most certainly jam-packed with every one of his notions and then some. It’s a big, buzzy clip, brimming with dancing she-devils, cheerleaders, cops, ticker tape, a mariachi band and Mr. Newton (to name just a few). And while everything in the video elicits a thrill, it’s Newton’s cameo that takes the cake. “Yeah, I think [Tyson’s] email ended with, ‘Oh, and Wayne Newton.’ And I thought that was to sum up that this video needs to have all kinds of outrageousness,” guitarist Nick Wheeler laughed. “But two days before, we got this phone call: ‘Hey, Wayne Newton’s going to be in the video.’ I have his business card in my wallet.” Speaking of business, now that the “Beekeeper’s Daughter” video has been released, there remains one rather sweet sponsorship deal AAR are very interested in securing — one that’s a lot tougher to land than you’d imagine. “This song was dubbed ‘Beekeeper’s Daughter’ because that was the brand of honey that we had in the cabin in the Sequoia Grove National Forest when we first wrote it,” Wheeler said. “It’s really just our desperate attempt at a honey sponsorship.” “And those are not easy to get,” Ritter laughed. “We still haven’t gotten any of that honey.” What do you think of the “Beekeeper’s Daughter” video? Florida Seniors Pledge Allegiance To Mitt Romney

Presidential hopeful makes a patriotic stop in Lady Lake, Florida, but not all his supporters were quite as upbeat. By Gil Kaufman Seniors pledge support for Mitt Romney Photo: Emmanuel Dunand/ AFP LADY LAKE, Florida —The citizens of the Villages in Lady Lake, Florida, are used to visits from big politicians. How do I know? Because before Mitt Romney took the stage a day before Tuesday’s Florida primary , we were treated to a Hollywood-style greatest-hits reel spotlighting past visits from former President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, 2008 presidential candidate Fred Thompson and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. The town square of the Villages was out of central casting for a Steven Spielberg movie, with patriotic bunting hung with care, rows of pimped-out golf carts lining the spaces of Main Street and the smell of hot dogs, elephant ears and popcorn wafting on the cool night breeze. As far as the eye could see, more than 1,000 fit and fired-up seniors mingled and watched the montages on a series of large video screens. A giant “Florida Is Romney Country” banner framed by towering palm trees served as a backdrop to … pretty much the same thing we saw twice earlier in the day. Except this time, we not only sang the national anthem, but we also recited the pledge of allegiance. The feelings of good cheer and patriotic spirit didn’t last long, though. At one point before Romney took the stage, a crowd member interrupted a shoot with MTV’s Andrew Jenks by yelling at him to speak up. I went over to speak to the gentleman, and he asked who we were with, since he’d never heard of MTV and was sure we were mocking him and his neighbors. When I explained that we were traveling with the Romney campaign for the day and covering the election from a youth perspective, he shouted, “He’s with Obama! They’re Obama!” I wasn’t really sure how to react to that, so I shook his hand and wished him well. But I totally should have introduced him to that woman with the “don’t believe the liberal media” sign. You hear a lot about how the candidates give the same stump speech every time, but there are some telling nuances if you really pay attention. At the Villages, Romney mentioned that he watched President Obama’s State of the Union address the other night and that he heard the Obamas had been to Orlando’s Disney World recently. Then, he wondered, was the president living in Fantasy Land? Big cheer. And this time, instead of just reciting his favorite verses of “America the Beautiful,” he asked the crowd to join him in singing it. MTV is on the scene in Florida! Madonna Is Ready For Some Football In ‘Luvin’ Teaser

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. open 60-second ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ video preview, which premiered on ‘American Idol.’ By Adam Graham Madonna Photo: Theo Wargo/Getty Images Madonna definitely has football on her mind — not only for her upcoming performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl , but also in the video for her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’.” A 60-second preview of the video, which premiered on Thursday’s (February 2) “American Idol,” opens with the track’s guest stars, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, dressed in cheerleader uniforms and spelling out “L-U-V Madonna! Y-O-U, you wanna?” Madonna then appears, kicking down the door of a suburban home, clad in a long rain coat, sunglasses and fingerless gloves, pushing a baby stroller. She turns onto the street where Nicki — who appears to have Adidas logos covering her breasts — and M.I.A. are waiting for her along with a team of cheerleaders. As Madonna prances down the street, a football player appears and barrels through a street-hazard marker in her way. A phalanx of football players then appear with umbrellas, shielding her from what looks like a storm of acid rain, and lay down their coats for her on the sidewalk as she struts in the slinky black outfit she had on underneath her coat. They’ll do anything to make sure her path is clear, even tearing apart a taxicab that’s in her way. She leans back and lets them lift her above their heads, and they prop her up against a wall that she appears to walk along sideways. The suburban football scenes are cut against flashes of Madonna, an oversize cross around her neck, performing and shaking her booty in front of a brick wall, lit by a spotlight. The video, for the first single from Madonna’s upcoming M.D.N.A., was directed by Megaforce , who has helmed videos for Kid Cudi, Two Door Cinema Club and more. The full video is scheduled to debut Friday at 9 a.m. ET on Madonna’s YouTube channel. What did you think of Madonna’s “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” video teaser? Let us know in the comments! The Bad Son?? Tracy Morgan Denies That He Won’t Help His Mother Pay $25K To Save Her Soon-To-Be Foreclosed Home

Tracy Morgan denies that he’s a deadbeat son: Tracy Morgan is denying claims that he wouldn’t help his mother pay her mortgage. The media war started after the “30 Rock” actor’s mother, Alicia Walden gave a flurry of interviews about her financial situation, saying she’s facing foreclosure on her Youngstown, Ohio, home. Walden, 61, tells CNN she called her son in January asking for $25,000 to pay off her mortgage, but his assistant called back to say, “Tracy would do a one shot deal of $2,000.” Walden, who says she was laid off from her job in February 2011, told the New York Daily News, “I told her [Morgan’s assistant], ‘Thank you, but no thank you.’ I’m not some person in the street. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back.” Morgan, 43, meanwhile, calls the allegations “untrue,” telling CNN in a statement, “For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my Mother in 11 years and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister. We all have personal family issues that we have to deal with in life, but I choose to deal with mine in private and not through the media.” The comedian’s younger sister, Asia Morgan, has come out swinging too. She confirmed the mortgage story to the Daily News and adds, “He’s [Tracy Morgan] never been a nice person. And money’s just made it worse.” We hope Tracy wouldn’t do his family like that. SMH. Reese Witherspoon Admits Crushing On Johnny Depp

During ‘MTV First: This Means War,’ actress says, ‘I’m not sure it would faze him: I’m sure he’s heard that quite a bit.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Reese Witherspoon Photo: MTV News Let’s take a trip back in time — further back even than 1991, when an adorably precocious 14-year-old Reese Witherspoon, star of “The Man in the Moon,” sat down for her first-ever MTV interview . Instead, let’s jump straight into the ’80s, as we did during Tuesday’s “MTV First: This Means War” live stream event, to learn a little bit about what the future Oscar-winner was like before showing up on the Hollywood scene. Because it was back then that Witherspoon was just a tween with a dream — a dream named Johnny Depp. Regarding the first celebrity object of her affection, Witherspoon confessed during the interview, “I have to say probably Johnny Depp in ’21 Jump Street.’ I just had a really major crush on him. I used to pull pictures out of Teen Beat and put them on my wall.” And now, a couple of decades later, she’s finally admitting it to the world, because she certainly has never told Depp. “I don’t think he knows,” she said, laughing. “I’m not sure it would faze him: I’m sure he’s heard that quite a bit.” Depp, of course, graduated from “Jump Street” to big-screen icon, never once joining in a traditional, shoot-’em-up action flick — much like Witherspoon herself, until “This Means War.” The decision to sign on to one at this point in her career (opposite Chris Pine and Tom Hardy) stemmed from never wanting to repeat herself. “I try not to make the same movie twice,” she explained. “I try to explore and push out in new areas, and I thought it was a nice way to get comedy and action together. I’ve never really been in a movie with a bunch of guns and action sequences. I’d turn to Tom and Chris and say, ‘The bad guys are chasing us — this is hysterical!’ It would just make me laugh. I think it’s ridiculous — me running from the bad guys. But it was really fun.” Check out everything we’ve got on “This Means War.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Taylor Lautner’s Post-‘Twilight’ Career: What’s Next?

Now that ‘Stretch Armstrong’ is off Lautner’s schedule, ‘Twilight’ Tuesday takes a closer look at the young actor’s future. By Kara Warner Taylor Lautner Photo: Jeff Kravitz/Film Magic Now that we’ve had a day or so to digest the news that “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner will not be gracing the big screen as super bendy, slightly superheroic Stretch Armstrong , it’s time to turn the focus of this week’s “Twilight” Tuesday toward analyzing this latest development in Lautner’s post-Jacob career. Word on the street is that Lautner dropped out of the film due to scheduling conflicts, but exactly what conflicts he may or may not have are the mystery. Last we heard, the teen heartthrob was in talks with Oscar winner Gus Van Sant to make a small-budget film based on a nonfiction article from The New Yorker. A quieter role in a more indie film could be just what Lautner needs post-“Twilight.” “He’s got the right determination and ambition to continue on, even through bumps in the road,” IMDb Managing Editor Keith Simanton told MTV News of Lautner’s staying power. “Someone he reminds me a little bit of is Hayden Christenson. People make fun of him and have never seen his performance in ‘Shattered Glass,’ and he’s also very good in ‘Life as a House.’ Because the only thing people know him from are big movies, the franchises that are in some ways an albatross in the way of a career.” Boxoffice.com ‘s Phil Contrino suggested that Lautner focus on more grown-up projects with big-name, respected directors. “He can, and most likely will, rebound. The key to his success will be picking the right directors to work with,” Contrino said. “He needs to stay away from teen-skewing flicks and go for adult, like Robert Pattinson is doing by working with David Cronenberg .” Lautner reportedly dropped out of the superhero film “Max Steel” and extreme-flying flick “Northern Lights” to make room for “Stretch,” which means he has plenty of time from now until next November to do a film before the promo machine kicks back into gear for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” And then there’s the adaptation of the popular YA novel “Incarceron,” which Lautner was circling in its development stages the last time we checked in with him. What should Taylor Lautner do next? Tweet @karawarner to sound off on this week’s “Twilight” Tuesday! Our History Makers: Langston Hughes

Read more from the original source:

James Langston Hughes was born February 1, 1902, in Joplin, Missouri. His parents divorced when he was a small child, and his father moved to Mexico. His grandmother raised him until he was thirteen, when he moved to Lincoln, Illinois, to live with his mother and her husband, before the family eventually settled in Cleveland, Ohio. It was in Lincoln, Illinois, that Hughes began writing poetry. Following graduation, he spent a year in Mexico and a year at Columbia University. During these years, he held odd jobs as an assistant cook, launderer, and a busboy, and traveled to Africa and Europe working as a seaman. In November 1924, he moved to Washington, D.C. Hughes’s first book of poetry, The Weary Blues, was published by Alfred A. Knopf in 1926. He finished his college education at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania three years later. In 1930 his first novel, Not Without Laughter, won the Harmon gold medal for literature. Hughes, who claimed Paul Lawrence Dunbar, Carl Sandburg, and Walt Whitman as his primary influences, is particularly known for his insightful, colorful portrayals of black life in America from the twenties through the sixties. He wrote novels, short stories and plays, as well as poetry, and is also known for his engagement with the world of jazz and the influence it had on his writing, as in Montage of a Dream Deferred. His life and work were enormously important in shaping the artistic contributions of the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s. Unlike other notable black poets of the period—Claude McKay, Jean Toomer, and Countee Cullen, Hughes refused to differentiate between his personal experience and the common experience of black America. He wanted to tell the stories of his people in ways that reflected their actual culture, including both their suffering and their love of music, laughter, and language itself. Langston Hughes died of complications from prostate cancer in May 22, 1967, in New York. In his memory, his residence at 20 East 127th Street in Harlem, New York City, has been given landmark status by the New York City Preservation Commission, and East 127th Street has been renamed “Langston Hughes Place.” In addition to leaving us a large body of poetic work, Hughes wrote eleven plays and countless works of prose, including the well-known “Simple” books: Simple Speaks His Mind, Simple Stakes a Claim, Simple Takes a Wife, and Simple’s Uncle Sam. He edited the anthologies The Poetry of the Negro and The Book of Negro Folklore, wrote an acclaimed autobiography, The Big Sea and co-wrote the play Mule Bone with Zora Neale Hurston.
