The only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is posing in a tiny swimsuit in the photo, which was snapped by husband Nick Gordon and accompanied by the caption: “I gotta bad b––––.” But once critics started to respond in the comment section, the couple was forced to defend Bobbi’s figure. “My baby is perfect the way she is,” Gordon Tweeted on Tuesday. “And for the record she was made that way why change I know she is beautiful.” Added Brown: “I am my mothers child! Have you ever heard of a #fastmetabolism ?” Damn, lol, it’s incredible how the world will judge you 4ANY&EVERYthing.” It’s true that Houston was famously gaunt, but many attributed that fact to the drug problem that eventually took her life. Skin Tone Memory Bias Study: Educated Black Men Perceived Whiter Skin tone memory bias study shows an educated black man is thought to be lighter and perceived as “whiter”… According to International Business Times: Evidence of underlying cultural beliefs about race and intelligence has been uncovered by researchers, who found successful black men are often remembered as “whiter” than they actually are. Published in the open access journal Sage Open, researchers found that cultural beliefs about race and intelligence are still rife, with authors saying their study has “grave implications” for current racial attitudes. Lead researcher Avi Ben-Zeev, from San Francisco State University, said: “When a black stereotypic expectancy is violated – herein, encountering an educated Black male – this culturally incompatible information is resolved by distorting this person’s skin tone to be lighter in memory and therefore to be perceived as ‘whiter’.” The authors called the phenomenon, where black men associated with being intelligent are remembered as having lighter skin, “skin tone memory bias”. They conducted a two part experiment with 160 university students. In the first, participants were subliminally exposed to one of two words – ignorant or educated. This was immediately followed by a photograph of a black man’s face. At a later stage, participants were shown seven photographs that depicted the same face – the original, three with lighter skin and three with darker skin. They were then asked to pick which picture was the one they had seen originally. Findings showed that participants primed with the word “educated” showed more memory errors in picking lighter skin-toned pictures than those who had subliminally seen with word “ignorant”. Ben-Zeev said: “Uncovering a skin tone memory bias, such that an educated Black man becomes lighter in the mind’s eye, has grave implications. We already know from past researchers about the disconcerting tendency to harbour more negative attitudes about people with darker complexions (e.g., the darker a Black male is, the more aggressive he is perceived to be). “A skin tone memory bias highlights how memory protects this ‘darker is more negative’ belief by distorting counter-stereotypic Black individuals’ skin tone to appear lighter and perhaps to be perceived as less threatening.” Interesting. Jenelle Evans has posted a pair of pictures of her baby bump that suggest, indirectly, that she was probably drinking while pregnant a few months ago. In addition to a snapshot of herself working out with her unborn child at the gym, she also posted a photo of herself, naked in the tub, on Instagram. “Me and the baby just relaxing,” Evans captioned the pic, in which her tattoo reading ”Cela Passera Aussi” (or “This Too Shall Pass”) is clearly visible. Naturally, her nude baby bump can be seen protruding from the bubbles in the bath. Just magical. There’s just one thing about the bump, though … When she confirmed she was pregnant with her second child this month, she received a lot of backlash from fans regarding whether or not she’s sober. Naturally, this being Jenelle Evans , speculation ran rampant that she had been drinking and doing drugs during her pregnancy. Not out of the question. In fact, the Teen Mom 2 star drank publicly during a trip to Philadelphia in late October, but according to Jenelle she wasn’t pregnant at that point. Which would mean she is less than two months pregnant, of course, which likely isn’t the case, as she is rocking a fully-formed baby bump by now. If she’s less than two months pregnant? She’s not looking like that. So in all likelihood, Jenelle was in fact drinking and smoking weed while pregnant . Good times. Only not at all. Not entirely surprising times, for sure. To be fair, the pic from the gym, taken last week, shows the bump on the MTV personality looking a lot smaller. Maybe she just “popped” over the weekend. As we reported earlier, Phil doubled down on the anti-gay comments that got him suspended from the A&E show, insisting his remarks are rooted in the Bible. Not that he thinks he’s perfect, however. Phil says he is not without sexual sin, but has put it in check … and finds the solution to be pretty straightforward. Alan Robertson Sermon: Joking About Phil “Sexual sins are numerous and many. I have a few myself,” he said. “If you’re a man, find yourself a woman, marry them and keep your sex right there.” Phil and Kay Robertson have been married 49 years. Their eldest of four sons, Alan, is a pastor who joked about the scandal in church Sunday (above). This is no laughing matter to Phil, though, nor is it likely to lead to an apology. “I will not give or back off from my path, because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions,” Robertson said. “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious. I have a degree from Louisiana Tech.” Bottom line: A&E suspended Phil Robertson, patriarch of the wildly successful Duck Dynasty , indefinitely, because his remarks were offensive to gays. Will the show go on? Likely not without Phil, at least on A&E. The family has implied as much, in voicing opposition to his “hiatus,” though it’s unclear what the nature of his suspension is from A&E’s standpoint. Robertson is still on the network day in and day out on repeats, and there are no plans to remove him from new episodes that have yet to air in 2014. It remains to be seen if A&E has any plans to cut ties with the Robertsons or vice versa, but these quotes won’t necessarily help them smooth it over. Should Phil apologize for his anti-gay comments? We all know Oreos are addictive, but a new study suggests that the cookies are as addicting as actual drugs … at least in the way the brain responds to them. The “pleasure center” of the brain, the nucleus accumbens, apparently gets just as activated in response to Oreos as it does to cocaine and morphine. Oreos: Addictive! That could certainly have some pretty major public health implications if Oreos were as damaging to one’s system as the aforementioned narcotics. They’re not, of course, and the study was only done in rats. However, the Connecticut College authors say it’s likely relevant to humans as well. It could explain, they say why people have such a hard time resisting eating an entire sleeve of the cookies after they’ve set out just to eat one. The study, to be presented at the Society for Neuroscience’s annual conference, also claims that rats, like humans, like to eat Oreo’s creamy center first. To test how the animals responded to Oreos vs. drugs, the team trained mice to navigate a maze. On one side, Oreos were provided. On the other? Rice cakes. As you’d guess, the rats were more likely to spend time on the Oreo side. Rats treated with morphine or cocaine rather than Oreos reacted similarly. They found that regardless of what “substance” the rats were offered (Oreos, coke, or morphine) they spent about the same time on the “drug” side. “Our research supports the theory that high-fat/high-sugar foods stimulate the brain in the same way that drugs do,” professor Joseph Schroeder said. “It may explain why some people can’t resist these foods,” he added, echoing a common refrain, “despite the fact that they know they are bad for them.” The research may thus bear some relevance to public health issues, namely the fact that high-calorie foods are often low-priced and highly addictive. And the fallout from poor eating behaviors can be as dramatic as that from drugs, said the authors, even if the risk of death from one usage is lower.

What does that say about these broke hoes? German Study Shows Correlation Between Sex And Wages Earned Via Philly Having sex often not only impacts your personal life, but your work life as well. A new report found that employees who have sex frequently have significantly higher salaries than those who don’t. The study, done by the Institute for the Study of Labor in Germany, concluded that people who have sex more than four times a week have a 3.2 percent higher paycheck than those who have sex once a week. The link between sexual activity and wages is the highest among employees between the ages of 26 and 50. The report analyzed data was from about 7,500 households in Germany. Participants were asked how often they had sex, how much they make, their age, sexual orientation, if they have any health problems, and about their religion. People who have sex often seem to be happier and healthier, too. “Sexual activity allows distinct predictions to be made regarding labor market success, since economists consider health status, mental health, and dietary habits/obesity to be crucial variables that influence employees’ wages,” the report said. Personality traits also seem to influence salary. “Wages are higher for those with extraversion and openness traits who are sexually active,” the study found. Study Shows Conservatives Think “Mixed Race” People Are Black Black or White???? According to Daily Caller: Mixed-race people are more likely to be considered black by conservatives, who are subconsciously attempting to “justify racial divisions,” said the authors of a new government-funded study. The report, originally released earlier this month, has begun attracting criticism from those who see political bias in the results. The study was conducted by graduate students and faculty in the psychology department of New York University. Researchers asked participants to look at pictures of mixed-race people and say whether they were black or white. The study found that conservatives were more likely to think of a mixed-race person as black than were liberal participants. This relates to what social psychology researchers call the “one drop rule,” which states that people of mixed racial heritage are often lumped in whatever racial category has the lowest social standing. “Conservatives… may maintain traditional boundaries associated with the hierarchical social order — and, as a result, they categorize multi-racial individuals according to the most socially subordinate group membership,” said an NYU press release about the study. Seeking causes for this purported racism, the study gauged conservatives’ views by asking them whether “we should do what we can to equalize conditions for groups.” A “no” answer was indicative of a conservative who opposed equality.
