Prepare for a 2015 clash of the superhero titans: According to the LA Times, Warner Bros. is moving full steam ahead on their Justice League movie with an eye to hit theaters in Summer 2015, which also happens to be when Marvel’s set the blockbuster sequel to their enormously successful Avengers . The announcement via anonymous studio tipster comes on the heels of yesterday’s huge legal win in a battle over the rights to the Superman character, without which any Supes projects would have been delayed another few years pending rights clearances. LA Times reports that with a Justice League script on the way, the search for a director and stars is next as WB aims to begin filming next year. Per DC Comics lore, the Justice League is comprised of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and The Martian Manhunter. The plan is reportedly to debut the multi-hero team-up first, then spin-off characters into their own standalone films. Avengers 2 , meanwhile, has a jump on the development process; Marvel/Disney set a release date of May 1, 2015 back in August, and Avengers director Joss Whedon is returning to write and direct . Drake raps on the hit song “Make Me Proud,” featuring Nicki Minaj. He certainly made his family, friends and fans proud Wednesday. The 25-year-old Tweeted, “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school.” “Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending 5 months working tirelessly with me!!” The Canadian rap star has been studying with Janzen, a teacher at Vaughan Road Academy in Ontario, Canada, since the end of his tour earlier this year. With her help, he completed the coursework and credits necessary to earn a GED . “I’m actually spending my summer graduating high school,” he told NOW Toronto in August. “That’s my main focus. I only have one credit left, and I’m really excited about that.” Drake dropped out of high school to join the cast of the Canadian teen soap Degrassi: The Next Generation , starring on the show for seven seasons. He says he took the gig on Degrassi to help out his struggling family. “My mother was very sick. We were poor, like broke,” he said. “The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn’t that much money when you break it down.” “A season of Canadian TV is under a teacher’s salary. Still, every little bit helped.” Since leaving the show in 2009 and embarking on a solo music career, Drake has signed with Lil Wayne’s label, Young Money Entertainment, and become a bona fide sensation. The Jackson family matriarch has been raising the 14-year-old and her brothers since their famous father, Michael, died of a drug overdose in 2009. But dealing with Paris’ antics is proving to be more than Katherine can handle – and she recently blasted the teen over her made-up appearance and rebellious attitude. “Your father would be furious with you!” she screamed at the blue-eyed young beauty, says an insider. Paris raised eyebrows when she appeared at a red carpet event in Beverly Hills on Oct. 11 wearing a curve-hugging blue gown, high heels and heavy makeup. “Paris is growing up way too fast and Katherine is worried to death about her. She looked like a 24-year-old,” revealed an insider. “Katherine blew up and told Paris she was wearing too much makeup, her clothes were too tight and revealing, and that she’s hanging out with the wrong crowd. “Katherine was so angry she was in tears. But Paris lashed back at her grandmother for being ‘old-fashioned’ and insisted that she’s not doing anything wrong.” Katherine exploded after Paris posted a photo of herself with short, highlighted hair on her Twitter page, suggesting she’d chopped off her gorgeous light brown locks. “When Katherine saw the picture, she almost had a heart attack,” said the insider. Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe played a crazily estranged couple in Lars von Trier ‘s erotic/thriller/surreal Antichrist in 2009. And now, Dafoe is set to return to Von Trier’s latest, Nymphomaniac along with Gainsbourg, Shia LaBeouf , Christian Slater , Stellan Skarsgard and Uma Thurman . Others are joining the cast, while one big name has pulled out. Nicole Kidman had been rumored as another possible addition to the cast, but she has more regal obligations and cannot join, according to THR. Kidman, who played the lead role in von Trier’s Dogville is currently busy playing Grace Kelly in Olivier Dahan’s Grace of Monaco . Dafoe, meanwhile, will play a supporting role in the two-part erotic Nymphomaniac , which will be released in both a hardcore and soft core version. Dafoe is currently in Hamburg, starring in Anton Corbijn’s drama A Most Wanted Man . Von Trier veteran Udo Kier, who has taken part in a number of von Trier’s films including his most recent Melancholia has also joined the cast along with French actor Jean-Marc Barr ( Dogville ), Caroline Goodall ( Schindler’s List ), Kate Ashfield ( Shaun of the Dead ), Saskia Reeves ( Butterfly Kiss ) and Danish actor Omar Shargawi ( R ). In the film, Gainsbourg stars as Jo, a self-described nymphomaniac who reveals her story to an older bachelor played by Stellan Skarsgard. Rumors have flown over the summer whether named actors would take part in sexually explicit scenes, though porn-star “stand-ins” have also been rumored to be engaged on camera. Will Emily Maynard be far behind? Robertson, who won Flajnik’s heart on season 16 of The Bachelor, looked glum as she handed over the ring – followed by celebrity news photographers of course. Winners of The Bachelor and Bachelorette do not pay for the rings and must return them if the relationship goes south … so pretty much twice per calendar year. The only real winner? Lane, with his PR from the show. Don’t feel too bad for Courtney, however. The 29-year-old model has already moved on with the runner-up of this summer’s Bachelorette season, in fact. Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. stunned onlookers while they were spotted enjoying an intimate meal on Thursday night in Phoenix, Ariz. They were seen kissing just one week after she split with Ben. Arie was rejected by Maynard in favor of Jef Holm , who she reportedly split with as well.
