I wanted to let you know to actually never say never, your day will come, the one you were waiting for to meet Justin. Ever since I started obsessing over Justin in 2008, I had that dream to meet him. I never thought the day would actually come. My first concert was August 29, 2010, when he preformed at Madison Square Garden, where he shot his Never Say Never. It was actually the best night ever. After that concert finished I wondered if I would ever be lucky enough to see him perform again. Luckily over this summer of 2012, I saw him perform twice in a span of 5 days. On June 15th I went to the Today Show with my friend, and we saw Justin perform and were front row. We could make eye contact and scream his name, when he could actually see and hear us. At the Today Show performance my hand touched his, and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I was so happy to be that close, and see his perfection right before my eyes. Five days later on June 20th, me and my sister got into Bieber’s rehearsal for the David Lettermen show that he was performing on that weekend . Me and my sister went into the theater to find ourselves sitting in 8th row, with only staff, and 4 other random people. After waiting for some time, a familiar figure walked on stage . The figure walked into the light on stage and there standing 8 rows away from me was Bieber. Looking hotter then on the Today Show. Me and my sister freaked out, but in silence because staff told us Bieber didn’t like it when people came and watched his rehearsals. We sat there for about another half hour, watching Justin sing and dance to ‘Boyfriend’ about 5 times, until our small performance ended. Still in shock of how amazing Justin sang we walked out the backstage door and talked with his dancing crew. His dancing crew was really nice, and very cool. After talking with them for about 10 minutes, Justin walked out the backstage door. He took pictures with the 4 other people then finally walked over to me and my sister. Amazed of how close I was standing face to face with Justin, he motioned for me to come closer so we can take the picture because he was in a rush. Noticing how this would probably be the first and last time for awhile I asked, “Can I kiss you on the cheek?”, he said “Yeah, sure.” So there I went, my lips touching his soft cheek. Legit the best moment of my life. I wish it lasted more than 2 minutes, but whatever I finally got my moment with Justin. No matter how long it takes Never Say Never. You’re chance will come. I waited a long time for mine and it was well worth it. DON’T STOP BELIEBING See more here: I wanted to let you know to actually never say never, your day…
So, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Courtney Robertson hooked up the other night. Here’s The Bachelor runner-up and just-separated Bachelorette winner: TMZ’s pics of Court sucking face with Arie Luyendyk Jr. were taken Thursday at the fancy Quiessence Restaurant in Phoenix. Both are from the area. They were reportedly ” all over each other ” the whole time. Not sure how we feel about them as a couple, but they certainly make an attractive one, and both were single at the time, so good for them … right? Arie was the runner-up on The Bachelorette this summer, losing out to Jef Holm, who reportedly parted ways with Emily Maynard within the last week. He was rumored to The Bachelor in 2013 but lost out to Sean Lowe . As for Arie’s make-out partner, she’s newly-single too. Very newly. Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik definitely split earlier this month after getting engaged on The Bachelor earlier this year, saying it just didn’t work out. The Black Widow moves on quickly apparently. No word if she did any #modeling of swimswear or went bikini-less during a late night skinny-dipping sesh. #winning
Lance Armstrong and his team ran a sophisticated and professional doping scheme for years, according to 11 of the cycling legend’s former teammates. A report by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency details the complete case against Armstrong, 41, who was stripped of his Tour de France titles this summer. It contains testimony from 11 of his former U.S. Postal Service teammates. Lance has always denied doping but has not contested these charges. USADA chief executive Travis Tygart said there was “conclusive and undeniable proof” of a team-run doping conspiracy headed by the all-time great. The group will send a “reasoned decision” in the case to the International Cycling Union (UCI), the World Anti-Doping Agency and the World Triathlon Corporation. The UCI now has 21 days to appeal or they must comply with the decision to strip Armstrong of all his cycling titles and hand him a lifetime ban. Armstrong overcame cancer to return to cycling and won the Tour from 1999-2005. He retired in 2005 but returned in 2009 before retiring for good in 2011. In his statement, Tygart said the evidence against Armstrong and his team – which is in excess of 1,000 pages – was nothing short of “overwhelming.” It “includes sworn testimony from 26 people, including 15 riders with knowledge of the US Postal Service Team and its participants’ doping activities.” [Photo: WENN.com]
Rosie O’Donnell really, really loves and respects Alana Thompson. Okay, not really. But the comedian – fully recovered from a near-fatal heart attack and now married to Michelle Rounds – sat down for a joking interview with People this week in which she said: “I love Mama June. I love Sugar Bear. I love Chubbs. I love ’em all.” Here Comes Honey Boo Boo , of course, earned monstrous ratings for TLC this summer and will return in the fall/winter with more episodes. Of the seven-year old at the center of it all, Rosie says : “She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years.” And O’Donnell concludes that she may one day take a trek fo McIntyre, Georgia: “I’d love to meet them and buy them a house.” She’s kidding. We assume. We really, really hope.

After humming along with this weekend’s a capella comedy Pitch Perfect , you’re going to want to know more about Skylar Astin, the 25-year-old Broadway alum who made his film debut in Hamlet 2 , appeared in Ang Lee’s Taking Woodstock , and sings his way into Anna Kendrick ‘s heart this weekend as Jesse, Beca’s adorably movie-obsessed aca-love interest and member of the Bellas’ rival team, The Treble Makers. Movieline put ten questions (more or less) to Astin for a chat about Pitch Perfect , the summer camp vibe on set, his upcoming comedy projects, and — perhaps most importantly — why the ’90s Swedish pop outfit Ace of Base deserves props. Musicals are popular in the age of Glee , and Pitch Perfect also pays homage to the spirit of John Hughes movies and the romantic comedies of the ‘80s and ‘90s, but why do you think it resonates so much? I think in so many ways it follows a formula that works in terms of big ensemble comedies, but there are elements of it that have never been done before. For one, a capella has never completely dominated a movie. There have been elements of it — I know John Michael Higgins had a moment in The Break-Up that was hilarious — but I think that there’s something unique about it that doesn’t go too far in one direction, and it’s just fun. You just enjoy it. There’s something that seems very organic about the comedy and the style. You started out very successfully on Broadway, alongside Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele in Spring Awakening . Were you looking for a project like Pitch Perfect that specifically involved music? It seemed like a healthy transition for me but it was more of a coincidence. I wasn’t only searching for these movies but it did seem to fall into place beautifully. I responded because it’s something that’s close to home but I wasn’t actively searching — but I’m not going to complain about it either. Your first film, which was also a musical, was Hamlet 2 — which featured you singing a song with the best song title. Which one? “Raped in the Face?” [Laughs] That is the most ridiculous song ever. It was quite the auspicious debut, Hamlet 2 , and now you have a few more comedies lined up after Pitch Perfect . What types of projects do you find yourself naturally drawn to? I’m at a place right now where I’m not opposed to anything. I worked on dramas before, I love sinking my teeth into something dramatic or a period piece, but there’s something so fun about doing a comedy. When you go to set and your only job is to make people laugh, there’s an unbelievable energy on set. Nobody’s tiptoeing or walking delicately around the actors. I really love doing it, and putting the puzzle together with the sole purpose of making people have fun and enjoy themselves. On the set of Pitch Perfect you had all of these great singers and performers constantly around you. Did the cast spontaneously erupt in song between takes or anything like that? We had a strict no-singing rule. No, I’m kidding. It was exactly that — I wish I could tell you something even crazier but it was like an all-star theater camp, where you had people you’d recognized from TV and film singing theater songs or pop songs on the radio. We were constantly harmonizing with each other, which got to a weird place after a couple of weeks. But when you’re in this kind of ensemble it really feels like you’re putting on a play. So there is that energy of all of us hanging out together and seeing movies together and singing, and God forbid someone pulls out a guitar — it’s just gonna get crazy. I do feel like the film is a bit unfair to one particular song. That would be Ace of Base’s “The Sign,” which becomes a running gag… Oh my god, 1994! I have the album. Were there any songs that, by the end of the shoot, you were all completely sick of hearing, that you wanted to call a moratorium on? The only song that could be in that category for the sake of pure repetition would probably be the medley that the Bellas do throughout the whole first half of the movie. They keep the same kind of routine just like they do in the movie and during rehearsals there were slight changes in each, but playback-wise it was the same thing. That was definitely the most-played song. But my mom used to work out to those songs in my basement when I was growing up; she used to blast “The Rhythm Is Going To Get You,” “Turn The Beat Around,” “The Sign” — those are songs that have been burned into my memory forever, so I don’t think I could a see them in a negative light. Good! Because “The Sign” demands and deserves a popular revival. I think Anna Camp and Brittany Snow are just the people to do it. Now, Skylar Astin is not your full birth name – what’s the story there? Skylar is my first name and Astin is my middle name, and my real last name is Lipstein. When I was 15 I think my first agent just kind of did it for me. I’m not ashamed, I’m not embarrassed, but she said it was just less specific to one thing and she kind of chopped it off. But forever to my friends I will be Skylar Lipstein. Looking to the future, you’ve got 21 and Over from the writer of The Hangover , and you also have a comedy called Cavemen . Meanwhile, your Pitch Perfect character Jesse is kind of the perfect college boy-romantic love interest. Where do you see yourself heading in, say, five years’ time? He’s definitely sweet as sugar. [Laughs] In five years I just want to be working on things that excite me. I’m open to everything. It could be a 19th century period piece or another awesome comedy with the same crew that did 21 and Over . Or it could be Pitch Perfect 4 ! Who knows? Follow Jen Yamato on Twitter . Emily Maynard and Jef Holm can’t catch a break from the tabloids. Last month, it was Emily supposedly cheating and getting caught sexting another man. This time, The Bachelorette winner is accused of paying him to stay engaged to her. A source close to the couple denies those claims, of course. “Everything is fine between them. They are a great couple and the wedding is definitely on,” the insider says, laughing off reports that the engagement is now a “business deal.” “He has moved to Charlotte and is living in an apartment and they are really making a go of things. They are being sensible about their relationship … there is only so much you can learn about someone over the course of the show, so they are getting to know one another better.” “They are being smart about everything. He adores Emily, and is very involved in Ricki’s life. They are happy. There are no problems between them.” The source also adds that Jef Holm would never take money from Emily Maynard ; not only is that patently false, he has far more than she does anyway. “His family has so much money. It’s beyond ludicrous to suggest that he would be making some sort of financial deal with Emily.” So, there you go. Holm beat out Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Sean Lowe this summer to win Emily’s final rose on The Bachelorette. ABC named Sean Lowe The Bachelor this week. Emily Maynard and Jef Holm: Will it last? Yes! Jef’s the one! Emily made a great choice! No. She should’ve picked Arie. Or Sean. View Poll »

I was hoping to meet Justin summer of 2012. With my other failed attempts throughout the summer I became really hopeless, ready to give up. I knew he was gonna have tour rehearsals in Los Angeles so I researched and was able to find out where he was gonna be for the month . Of course with my luck I started school the week I found out about the place and wasn’t able to go. Each day I couldn’t go try to meet him, more and more people started finding out about the location which scared me because it ruined my chances. That week I was determined to go Saturday and just wait and see what would happen . I was still not sure if my sister was able to take me, thankfully she drove me out there and got there around 12. There was already 20 girls waiting. I got in line and more and more girls still kept arriving. I waited about 6 hours and all of a sudden everybody stood up and I saw his adorable black hat, I couldn’t help but smile that this was actually happen. I waited for my turn patiently, my hands were just shaking all the girls were just smiling like fools! I was surprised that all of us were actually quite and not screaming. Three girls were in front of me taking pictures then it was my turn. I was so nervous but wanted to talk to him so I said, “You look nice today Justin,” he looked RIGHT AT ME and replied “Thank you….(licked his lips haha) you look nice today as well” and smiled. I said, “Can I have a hug?” and he said, “Yea you can have a hug.” I was just so happy! The girl who took my picture accidentally took a video so me and Justin both awkwardly stared at the camera for a while waiting for a flash. I had to fix my camera and got to hug him again and finally take a picture with him. His smile was just so hypnotizing. Security made me go on the other side as he took pictures with everyone else. I felt so grateful because almost 10 people after me, he had to take group pictures and left. As he got into the swag van he waved goodbye to everyone. August 18, 2012 was an amazing day for me and still so grateful it happened. Go here to read the rest: I was hoping to meet Justin summer of 2012. With my other failed…
