Are you still shocked that Nick Viall has been chosen as the next Bachelor on ABC? You’re not alone. Nick Viall is as stunned as anyone. A few days after Viall appeared on the Bachelor in Paradise after-show to announce the news, he’s made it clear over Instagram that he still can’t believe it’s true. Yes, he’s appeared twice on The Bachelorette and is currently a cast member on the aforementioned franchise spinoff. But still. He’s getting a FOURTH shot at love?!? “The look when it hasn’t quite sunk in yet,” Viall wrote as a caption to the selfie above, adding: “Couldn’t feel more fortunate. Incredibly thankful for all the support. We are going to have some fun! #thebachelor.” Not everyone agrees with this assessment, of course. There’s a petition going around to have both Viall AND Pell as the Bachelors this spring, with the women on the show eventually deciding who ought to be the sole star. Viall, however, seems immune to the criticism. Soon after being confirmed as The Bachelor, he posted with the After Paradise crew (above) and wrote on his Instagram account: “Wow!! Couldn’t be more excited, nervous, and thankful for this opportunity!! It’s going to be a wild ride. “Thank you to everyone for all their support! So thankful!!!! HERE WE GO!! #thebachelor #bachelorinparadise #thankyou.” Most fans of The Bachelor had assumed that Pell would earn this gig, and that includes Pell himself. He’s gone on record in saying just how close he actually got to standing alongside Chris Harrison when the series returns next year. “We were all satisfied, had agreed to the contracts and everything was moving forward,” Pell told Us Weekly on Thursday. “I was checked in to my flight to come to L.A. I got a call from producers Sunday night at about 10 p.m. They said ABC had decided to quote-unquote go in a different direction. “I was supposed to fly out Monday morning at 9 a.m. I had my bags packed and everything. Lauren Himle – who costarred with Viall on Season 3 of that show – told Detroit’s The Ticket radio station a few days ago that she isn’t happy with how the newly-crowned Bachelor treated Jen Saviano. “I am not a big fan of [Viall],” said Himle. “He dated my great friend Jen on Bachelor in Paradise … but it was my understanding that they were still seeing each other after the show completed.” Wait… so how serious were Viall and Saviano after the ABC dating show concluded filming? It has been proven in a court of law that Jared Fogle participated in a child pornography ring. A little over a year ago, in July of 2015, the former Subway spokesman had his home raided by federal agents, with evidence eventually leading to 14 charges of sex solicitation from minors. In legal documents, Fogle was accused of traveling between Indiana and New York City in order to pay for sex with a multitude of teenage girls between 2010 and 2013. In November, Fogle was sentenced to 15 years in prison , with his attorneys trying to argue (in his favor, mind you) that Fogle was only guilty of “mild pedophilia.” That may be the biggest oxymoron since the term “plastic silverware” or “clothed Kim Kardashian.” In other words: Jared Fogle is a terrible human being. There is no denying this fact. Yet, incredibly, Jared Fogle managed to plummet to a new low this week. RUN, Miss Piggy and Kermit! Run away as far from Fogle as you can! Fogle has actually gone ahead and filed a federal complaint against the parents of an alleged victim who sued the ex-Subway pitchman after he supposedly received secret recordings of her changing her clothes and bathing. Yes, as part of Fogle’s sordid history, he paid for videos and photos of young teenagers in states of undress. Last March, parents of one of these teenagers filed a lawsuit against Fogle for emotional distress. They are seeking $150,000 in damages. In the lawsuit, the parents allege that Russell Taylor – the former head of Fogle’s charity – secretly filmed their underage daughter and other kids while they were changing clothes and bathing at Taylor’s house. He then passed along the footage to Fogle. In a motion filed Thursday, however, Fogle tried to turn the legal tables. He argued that the girl’s parents “through their actions, caused or significantly contributed to the injuries and damages alleged by Jane Doe in her Complaint against the Defendants.” Fogle isn’t denying his heinous actions here. He’s just having the balls to say the parents deserve blame for messing up their child, the one he grossly and illegally ogled. View Slideshow: 20 Celebrities You Probably Want to Keep Away From Your Children Fogle claims the parents were responsible for their daughter’s depression, anxiety and emotional distress due to their “hateful and abusive relationship toward each other, which included, but was not limited to, engaging in frequent fighting and arguing between themselves; abusing alcohol and getting drunk; and engaging in frequent fighting, physical abuse, and arguing with Jane Doe.” He also says these parents’ abuse and neglect caused their daughter’s alcohol and substance abuse, self-mutilation and suicidal thoughts. Earlier this summer, Fogle tried to argue that he isn’t that disgusting of a person. In an attempt to reduce his prison sentence, he filed a document with the U.S. Court of Appeals that claimed he only child porn to one person while in a hotel room. So, come on, he basically said! Give me a break! Fortunately, the judge wasn’t hearing it. On Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 3 Episode 3 , Princess confronted Moniece and, well, you can imagine how that played out. Watch Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 3 Episode 3 Online Oh yes, Princess Love has had enough of Moniece Slaughter bashing her in the media, and things finally came to a head this week. Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 3 Episode 3 saw things almost get violent after Moniece asked Princess to apologize to her. We know. The indignity. If you watch Love & Hip Hop Hollywood online , you know this was a long time coming, but still, nothing ever prepares you fully. First off, Willie admitted he had been texting Kyesha behind Shanda’s back, and promises he will do better. She’s not amused. Meanwhile, Brandi tells Princess that she and her friend/business partner turned their online boutique into an actual storefront. Princess is happy for Brandi but wants to know where she got the money; Max gave her $27,000 to put aside for their son. She spent it on … this. Brandi also says she uses Princess as an alibi whenever Max asks what he’s up to, and since Princess is engaged to Brandi’s brother? Let’s just say that puts her in an awkward position, and later, Princess tells Ray J what Brandi is up to, begging him not to tell Max. Even more awkward. Ray J promises he won’t talk, but Max starts to figure out that there’s something up, and it’s only a matter of time before this is exposed. Not much time, it turns out. The day of Brandi’s launch party at the boutique, everything is going well until Max SHOCKINGLY shows up. Brandi comes clean, at which point Max storms out to leave, only to watch Brandi jump on the hood of the car and windshield screaming. Really good times. Eventually she gets off, Max speeds away and Brandi collapses in the middle of the street crying after a brief attempt to give chase. Finally, the main event: Princess wants to know why Moniece keeps running her damn mouth talking about her during interviews and Mo wants her to say sorry. Ain’t happening. Moniece gets up to walk away but Princess runs around the table and tries to lunge for after her, until security steps in to break it up. Just another week in Hollywood, right? That s–t cray, but it’s par for the course with this cast of characters VH1 has assembled for us. Ray J hit it first, and now Ray J is hitting back at Kanye West. On Sunday night, Kanye took to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and did what Kanye does best. The rapper rambled and ranted and made little to no sense, while saying things no other celebrity would ever dare to say. “I am Kanye West, and that feels really great to say, especially this year. I came here to present my new video, but before I do that, Im’ma talk,” West said prior to giving viewers a preview of his “Fade” video. He then referenced his “Famous” video, which depicted a multitude of stars from all walks in life… naked and in bed together. What was his motivation for this idea? “For people to understand just how blessed we are, it was an expression of our now, our fame right now, us on the inside of the TV,” Kanye explained. He added: “Just the audacity to put Anna Wintour next to Donald Trump – I put Ray J in there, bro!” Kanye West at the VMAs: I Love Taylor Swift! And Ray J! Ah, yes, Ray J. Ray J is the man who gave it to Kim Kardashian on camera. Ray J is the man who still profits, to this day , from the Kim Kardashian sex tape. But Ray J is also the man who has brought up the sex day in the past, only to be slammed by Kanye. Remember the hilarious Ray J single ” I Hit It First ?” The song that bragged about how… well… Ray J hit Kim first, in the sexual sense of that word? The singer released a track that basically dubbed Kim as sloppy seconds for Kanye. And West wasn’t exactly laughing over his wife’s ex-boyfriend at that time. Ray J – “I Hit It First” (Official Music Video) In response, West slammed the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star as “Brandy’s little sister,” saying Ray J was “lame” for actually releasing such a single. (Was it lame? Maybe. A little. Was it also hilarious? Heck yes!) So then Kanye figured out a way to profit himself over the Kim Kardashian sex tape and has decided to laugh about it? To turn it into a joke? To make it seem like he’s just so cool and chill that he’ll drop a reference to his wife’s sex tape partner in front of millions of viewers? Now THAT is lame, Ray J is reportedly telling friends. According to TMZ, Ray J thinks Kanye is being hypocritical by dissing him one second; and then embracing the sex tape himself when it serves his purposes. TMZ also hears that Ray J is also angry at Kim. She trashed him after he released “I Hit it First,” but then she sat there smiling like crazy at the Video Music Awards when West referred to the amateur porn that has made her millions. Some rapper named Wack 100, meanwhile, had the best response of all to Kanye’s “Famous” music video. “Did they show him with his dick in [Kanye’s] wife?” the rapper asked TMZ when approached about the footage this summer. “If they didn’t show Ray J with his dick in Kim Kardashian’s mouth, tell Kanye to go back and reshoot that sh-t,” he added.
