Caitlyn Jenner is still out there promoting her new book, The Secrets of My Life — she’s doing interviews, she’s making statements, she’s getting intimate . And the Kardashians are still not cool with it. But although Caitlyn’s former family has made it clear that they don’t approve of all of her stories, she’s not about to stop anytime soon. In fact, she may have just given her shadiest interview yet! She spoke with Australia’s Today show, and she seemed to respond to the statement Kim Kardashian made during her appearance on Ellen — the one where she said that she doesn’t respect Caitlyn right now . “I love Kimberly,” Caitlyn began, “I think she’s a wonderful person. But, well, to be honest with you, I really haven’t talked to her in a long time.” For what it’s worth, Kim said it had been a couple of weeks since she’d spoken to her, so either someone is fibbing or Caitlyn doesn’t have a strong grasp on the concept of time. “I’ve kind of let everything calm down,” Caitlyn continued. “So I kind of stay, you know, I keep my distance.” “I’m out there trying to make a difference in the world.” Get it, because the Kardashians don’t make a difference? They just take selfies and manufacture drama and then take more selfies ? Yeah, you get it. Caitlyn said that while “There’s a lot of drama in the Kardashian family,” and no kidding, “This is my book about my opinions on things that happened with me and my family.” “Any time I express my opinion, you know, with my family, there’s always challenges in doing that.” She definitely has a point — she’s allowed to tell her story, and it’s obviously very important to her that she does — but she could still manage to show a little more tact when it comes to her stepchildren. She could perhaps even stand to be a little kinder to her wife of 23 years, Kris Jenner — but as we see in another interview Caitlyn did, this one with The Talk, she’s not interested in doing that, either. When asked if she regretted anything she wrote about Kris in her book, she said “I regret nothing, OK? I have no regrets. I got over regrets a long time ago. “I don’t want to hurt anybody, especially family members,” she went on, “but, um … if you saw the show over the last ten years, eleven years or whatever, my opinion was never really brought forward.” “It was everybody else’s opinion, I was with a lot of very strong women, which is fine, I love them all, but this book is about my story.” Caitlyn said that she was “so nice to Kris” in the book, but that obviously they have different interpretations of what happened in their marriage. “We’re not talking as much as we used to, but I’m sure that’ll change when everything calms down,” she added, and she said the same thing for the Kardashians. So much for all that Idol chatter. A few days after rumors surfaced that Kelly Clarkson would be a judge on the revamped version of American Idol, the original winner of has come out and stunned the television universe: She will, indeed, be a judge on an upcoming season of a beloved, long-time running singing competition. But it will not be the show that made her famous. It will be The Voice. Clarkson made the unexpected announcement on Thursday afternoon alongside Blake Shelton on his Facebook page as part of a live video. The two artists will joined on season 14 by fellow longtime coach Adam Levine, while a fourth coach will be confirmed at a later date. “I’m so excited to join The Voice at NBC,” Clarkson said in a statement. She added: “We’ve gone back and forth about a role as a coach for years, but the timing hasn’t been right until now. “I have always loved appearing on the show as an adviser or performer and established an amazing relationship with the network during my Christmas special. “I can’t wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they’ve needed to break into the industry.” Proving she’s ready for the typical weekly trash talk among panelists, Clarkson concluded as follows: “Watch out Shelton, I’m comin’ to win!” There’s also been talk, meanwhile, that Jennifer Hudson will come on board The Voice Season 13 as a judge. Said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment, in a statement of his own: “Kelly has been a part of The Voice family for many years as an adviser and performer. We are thrilled she has chosen to join us as a coach to mentor the next generation through our unique vocal boot camp. “Every time Kelly Clarkson sings you are reminded what an incredible voice really is. “We are looking forward to the sound of Kelly Clarkson on The Voice.” It was announced on Tuesday that ABC has agreed on a deal to revive American Idol. It will most likely air on Sunday nights next spring, with Ryan Seacrest most likely returning as host. “American Idol on ABC…that has a nice ring to it,” Disney co-chairman Ben Sherwood said about this move, adding: “Idol is an entertainment icon, and now it will air where it belongs, in ABC’s lineup of addictive fan favorites alongside Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor. America, get ready for the return of a bigger, bolder and better-than-ever Idol. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. A couple of weeks ago, Kim Zolciak took a break from being absolutely ridiculous when her four-year-old son, Kash, was attacked by a dog . Kash required emergency surgery after the attack, and, like any mother would be, Kim was in an absolute state. The incident happened a little over two weeks ago now, and as she’s told us, poor little Kash is healing nicely . But Kim just gave us a new update, along with a photo of what the boy’s face looks like right now. And honestly, it’s one of the most pitiful things we’ve ever seen. Along with the photo, Kim wrote “Kash and our entire family want to Thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers!” “Kash has healed up incredibly and has perfect vision in his left eye. Stitches on his water line, and his eyeball was never touched! God is Good!” “We are so incredibly thankful and blessed,” she continued. “In no time he will heal up perfectly and you will never know this happened!” “So thankful to Dr. Joseph Williams (chief of plastic surgery) and Dr. Berland (Tomas Eye Group) their quick decisions and impeccable work doesn’t go unnoticed. THANK YOU.” Kim touchingly added “Kash has taught me so much through this experience. When life hands you lemons make Lemonade.” She also tacked on the hashtags “I Believe In Angels” and “God Is So Good.” What a wonderful update, right? Judging by the injuries we see in this photo, things could have obviously been so much worse — as Kim pointed out, he easily could have lost an eye. But, as she told us in her last update, “He will have no physical problems once he is fully healed and we are confident his mental and emotional state is healing back to its original state as well.” So much good news! Of course, Kim also took the opportunity to share a new photo of herself — the one above — after her latest update. For this one, she wrote “Happy, Thankful, and Blessed” — get it, because she’s sharing a selfie because she’s happy, not because she can’t bare to go without attention on herself for any substantial amount of time. On May 21, it will be two years since the world learned that Josh Duggar molested five young girls , four of whom were his sisters. The actual crimes took place several years earlier, of course, but Josh’s parents assisted him in avoiding prosecution and keeping his predatory ways under wraps. At the time, it was widely believed that the Duggars’ stint as reality television stars had come to an end. Surely, it was thought, no public figures could recover from such a revolting scandal, and for a time, it seemed that the public was right. Advertisers began cutting ties with TLC en masse , and eventually the network read the writing on the wall and canceled 19 Kids and Counting , the show that made the Duggars famous. Amazingly, however, the Duggar PR machine kept on churning, and between the family’s tireless efforts and the cultish devotion of their most die hard fans, Jim Bob Duggar – the Kris Jenner of the Bible Belt – was eventually able to finagle a second series out of the network. Counting On premiered in March of 2016 on TLC, and this time around, the Duggars were bound by a new set of guidelines and restrictions: The network reportedly demanded that the show focus solely on the lives of the eldest Duggar daughters with no appearances by Jim Bob and Michelle. (That rule was violated almost immediately.) Most importantly, of course, TLC execs demanded that Josh Duggar never appear on the series. The family seemed to recognize the necessity of that rule, and they’ve gone to awkward lengths to keep Josh off camera . But the 29-year-old sexual predator still makes appearances on the Duggar family’s official Facebook page, and one recent throwback photo has prompted some troubling reactions from Counting On fanatics: The image is a “throwback” to 2003, around the time when Josh was subjecting his young sisters to his revolting advances. Bizarrely, it seemed to make some fans of the family nostalgic: “What a great picture!! What a great tree limb too!! It would be nice to see a new one!! Love you guys and hope to see the WHOLE family back on TV soon!!” commented one fan. “Miss the WHOLE family!” wrote another. The implication is quite clear, of course. Obviously, there’s a contingent of fans who believe the punishment of not being a television star anymore is too harsh for the crime of serial child molestation. Thankfully, however, there are those who recognize the severity of Josh’s misconduct and remain vocal in their belief that he and his parents got off much, much too easy: “I was like ‘oh nice photo’ and then I realized what those poor girls were probably going through and it started making me sick,” wrote one follower. “Back when they were getting touched over the clothes,” echoed another, referring to the Duggars’ argument that Josh’s crimes were less severe as he only groped his sisters “over the clothes.” It’s astonishing that the family has been given another chance at stardom after one of the most repugnant scandals in television history went public. Stop the violence. Brother And Sister Murdered While Visiting Makeshift Memorial For Friend Who Recently Died A brother and sister went to visit a slain friend’s makeshift memorial when a shoot out happened, claiming their lives. The tragic scene happened in Chicago’s Brighton Park area, according to the Chicago Tribune . They were killed and eight other people were wounded when two men with rifles stepped from an alley around 5:20 p.m. The duo opened fire on the group, as they stood around balloons and candles. SMH. Police say they have a “pretty good idea” of who the perps may be. The brother and sister, Adriana Williams and Michael were 24 and 27-years-old. According to reports, Adriana and Michael each leave behind three children. Adriana and Michael Williams had visited the memorial to pay their respects to a friend, 26-year-old Daniel Cardova. The report says he was shot down the street around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said they found his body between two parked cars. Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air 17 years ago. Which makes us feel VERY old. But try telling that to Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth. Two of the drama’s original cast members, these two women continue to hold a grudge against a former colleague as if the series just ended yesterday. Last Friday evening, Garth and Spelling appeared in a RuPaul’s Drag Race sketch based on the smash hit drama for their best known. In the segment, Garth’s character was critiquing a contestant played by Thiessen’s 90210 vixen, Valerie Malone, when Garth refused to even say Thiessen’s name. “As Ti … how do you say it?” Garth joked, at which point Spelling jumped in replied: “Just say, ‘That which we don’t speak of.’” The actresses then laughed, as Garth agreed: “Yes, we know her as ‘That which we don’t speak of.’” Wow. Who knew Thiessen was akin to Voldermort in the eyes of these actresses? Thiessen came on board 90210 as the replacement for Shannen Doherty, after that controversial actress departed the series as Brenda Walsh in 1994. Back in 2012, Thiessen told Howard Stern that she and Garth “had a falling out and we grew apart,” adding that she was the one who was “hurt” and not wanting to delve into any more details. When it came to Spelling, however, Thiessen explained that she was very close to Tori’s her first husband, Charlie Shanian. When the couple split in 2005, it basically ruined her friendship with her ex-co-star forever. “It was a hard situation for everybody. We were close with Charlie [Shanian] … my best friend was Charlie’s roommate. It was hard,” Thiessen told Stern in the same interview. In the many, many years since Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air, Spelling has mostly made news for pumping out numerous kids and going through a multitude of marital problems with second husband Dean McDermott. She may even be broke . But Spelling has remained close to Garth, even starring for one season with her on some show titled “Mystery Girls.” Thiessen, meanwhile, has enjoyed the most professional success of these three actresses. She starred for five seasons as Elizabeth Burke on the USA Network his White Collar and who could ever forget her turn as Wilhelmina “Billie” Chambers on the former Fox drama Fast Lane. Okay, fair point: most people have likely forgotten about it. We’re yet to hear from Thiessen’s rep in regard to any sort of response to Spelling and Garth’s latest diss. But we somehow doubt she’ll comment. She’s likely moved far past this feud. Kailyn Lowry and her ex-husband Javi Marroquin may be on better terms lately, but like everything with them, this is subject to change. Whenever cooler heads prevail and the drama wanes, an unforeseen event exerts pressure on the ex-couple’s non-aggression pact. Like the rest of us, the Teen Mom 2 dad had plenty of thoughts when that photo of Kailyn in bed with another man hit Snapchat Sunday. Mistakenly, many believed the guy – whose face was obscured in some of the images – was none other than baby daddy-to-be Chris Lopez. Not the case. While Lowry is pregnant with Lopez’s child , he was not the man in this picture; Kailyn’s friend DJ was the shirtless culprit. The mother of Isaac, 7, and Lincoln, 3, received backlash for the pic, and it’s easy to see why; Javi wasn’t a fan, that’s for damn sure. Marroquin, who is the father of Lincoln and was married to Kailyn for three years, tweeted as soon as the photo surfaced, “I’m disgusted.” “It’s just sad. It makes me sad for the boys.” Not wanting to further fan the flames of this feud waiting to happen, Javi decided to leave well enough alone at that point, telling Radar : “I have nothing else to say about her.” Lowry’s baby daddy Lopez, meanwhile, took to Twitter to make sure fans know he’s not the man in the photo … and take a shot at Kail. Yes, the man who apparently wants nothing to do with his own baby (if you believe Kailyn’s sad and angry tweets about Chris ) is fuming too. “I wanna vent but I know it ain’t safe,” he said. “It’s always some s–t when I get on here.” “I knew I matured when I realized every situation doesn’t need a reaction. Sometimes you just gotta leave people to do the lame s–t they do.” Meanwhile, Lowry’s camp insists she’s just friends with DJ, and that “they were just hanging out … in bed because her feet were so swollen.” That’s a new one. Give them credit at least. “DJ was in LA for something else and hung out with her, Amber [Portwood] and Matt [Baier] when he was done,” says a Lowry insider. Kailyn was in town for the MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday, which she attended with ALL the MTV stars and a few other D-list celebs. Both she and DJ were aware of the s–tstorm online that their pic caused, and both took to Twitter to tell give the critics their two cents. “Get that hate out of your blood folks,” she said, while DJ added, “Get that hate out ya heart, that ain’t how God made ya. Don’t judge me.” Too late for that, by about six or seven years. People watch Teen Mom 2 online and therefore know just about all there is to know about Kailyn’s life, a choice she has been complicit in. Yes, she’s entitled to privacy, as we all are, but Lowry shills, promotes, pitches and hustles her a– off to make a living off of her fame. More power to her, but craving attention one minute and then feigning indignation the next when people criticize you stretches credibility. As for Lopez (above), he remains an enigma. Most dudes who have been in a Teen Mom cast member are also interested in fame. Not Chris, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if he wants nothing to do with Kailyn, or his child, yet feels compelled to criticize her life choices? That’s nothing to be proud of, bruh. A History Of Aretha Franklin’s Feud With Dionne Warwick You may recall Aretha Franklin sent a fax out about a week ago detailing her issues with Dionne Warwick extend from her being “lied on” during Whitney Houston’s funeral, but several music industry insiders are now weighing in with more insight to the diva’s issues. According to Page Six: “A great deal of what is taking place is just jealousy” on Franklin’s part, according to a longtime music-industry figure who knows both players. “It’s all about Aretha.” The outlet goes on to describe how the rivalry was born in the 1960’s when Franklin was reigning on the charts with songs like “I Never Loved a Man (the Way I Love You)” and “Chain of Fools.” Meanwhile, Warwick was also flourishing thanks to her collaborations with Burt Bacharach, including “Walk On By” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose.” But Auntie Aretha definitely made the first Petty Betty move by covering Warwick’s 1967 hit “I Say a Little Prayer.” Among her backup singers was Cissy Houston, Warwick’s own aunt. The Franklin version landed in the top 10 on R&B and Pop charts. The extra punch to Warwick’s gut was when Bacharach (who wrote the song for Dionne) publicly proclaimed Aretha’s cover, “Much better than the cut I did with Dionne.” Still, according to Warwick’s rep Angelo Ellerbee, Warwick has never had issues with Franklin: “Dionne has always spoken favorably about this lady.” Ain’t it crazy how somebody you ain’t even mad at can be mad at you? After Franklin’s career hit a dry spell in the late 70’s, music mogul Clive Davis signed Aretha to Arista Records in 1982. She would soon deliver her 1985 platinum album “Who’s Zoomin’ Who?” But Franklin STILL wasn’t happy because Dionne Warwick was also on Arista! “The [lingering] tension has something to do with the fact that Clive had [signed] both artists,” said magazine publisher Cynthia Horner, who has known Franklin since 1977. “Aretha became his favorite, but Dionne was still connected to Clive.” Franklin had bigger problems on the horizon though. Davis had also signed Whitney Houston. Y’all remember young Whitney? With the incredible pipes, model good looks and youth on her side. She was 21 years younger than Franklin AND Dionne Warwick’s first cousin. Not to mention, Clive Davis was more than a little bit excited about his newest star in the making. Davis arranged for Aretha to do a duet with Whitney, and while the elder diva did it, she couldon’t help taking a few digs at Houston. “She said that Whitney lacked her wisdom and maturity as a recording artist, but I just think Aretha was nervous about being out-sung by someone from the next generation,” Franklin’s late agent Ruth Bowen, once said. YIKES. Fast forward to her comments about missing Houston’s funeral last week, where she brought up plenty mess: “There [had] been so much going on around [Houston] . . . around the drugs, around her and Bobby [Brown] supposed to be fighting . . . I didn’t want to be a part of that.” The music-industry insider said there’s more to it than that. “If Aretha was at the funeral, there would have been no limelight on her. And that’s the problem. Aretha doesn’t want to be forgotten.” SMH. Damn shame that you can be so accomplished and still INSECURE. If this doesn’t speak volumes about the demons unleashed by the music industry!!! As we’ve told you before Warwick and Houston aren’t the only divas to have felt Aretha’s wrath. Her list of alleged run-ins includes encounters with Patti LaBelle, Diana Ross, Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole and Gladys Knight, who said Franklin once ignored her backstage at the Grammys, walking past Knight as if she didn’t exist. “Aretha’s always had problems with her female contemporaries,” her sister Erma Franklin told David Ritz, author of “Respect: The Life of Aretha Franklin,” a 2014 biography. “Her fantasy is to eliminate the competition.” SMH.
