N ipsey Hussle ‘s alleged killer has officially been charged. However, there were still questions surrounding the tragedy, including what will happen to the still unidentified getaway driver. See Also: Never Forget: 39 Unforgettable Images Of People Protesting The Killing Of Michael Brown Eric Holder, 29, was charged on Thursday with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, according to the Hollywood Reporter . “The criminal complaint also includes allegations that he personally used a firearm and caused great bodily injury and death,” the Hollywood Reporter wrote. But there appears to be an accomplice in the shooting: The getaway driver. The driver has reportedly claimed she knew nothing about the shooting. “The woman has insisted to detectives that she never knew Holder intended to harm Hussle and was aware of the shooting only in the aftermath,” according to the Los Angeles Times . She allegedly surrendered to authorities Tuesday and was continuing to cooperate with detectives. However, she was never arrested for her alleged role in the shooting, Josh Rubenstein, LAPD’s director of communications, said. There has been outrage over the woman not appearing to be held accountable. “Holder’s female accomplice waited two days to turn herself in to police,” community activist Najee Ali told the Times. “That was two days too many.” Of course, social media has done its research . Users got to work and found a handful of Twitter accounts that tweeted the getaway driver was either named or went by the social media handle of “Baylett Starz.” Others suggested she had gang ties, calling her “a chick from Hoovers,” a reference to the Crips. Vox reported that Hussle was formerly a member of the Crips before he became the community activist he was before he died. The person who social media users identified as the getaway driver allegedly had a Facebook page under the name of Baylett SF Bayz. The last status update from that account came Sunday, the same day Nipsey Hussle was gunned down. During Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians , viewers witnessed something that had never before been seen in the show’s entire 16-season history: We’re talking, of course, about Kanye in the confession booth . Yes, given his love of cameras, attention, and religious imagery, it’s hard to believe Kanye never filmed a confession segment before, but believe it or not, it was Kanye’s first time shooting a confessional segment for the show that helped make his wife a household name. And it seems Yeezy was inspired to take part not by KUWTK’s slumping ratings but for his love of The Incredibles . Seriously: “It starts off with the interviews! The superheroes are giving interviews,” West told the camera. “The wife got a big butt and I just see our life becoming more and more and more like The Incredibles until we can finally fly.” Frankly, it was the first KUWTK segment to make us laugh in years. It was also the first to go viral in quite a long time. So we guess it’s safe to say Kris Jenner made the right call when she let Kanye take charge of the show’s creative direction for Season 16: “Kanye is really in creative control of content for season 16 and that is why viewers saw such a different level of production value in the premiere episode,” a source close to the series tells Radar Online. “Kris has decided to let him take the reins a bit, and she is just praying that his vision boosts ratings,” the insider adds. “He is telling her that things need to change, and she is putting her own vision aside for a minute to let him hop in.” Yes, it couldn’t have been easy for a control freak like Kris to hand over the keys to the project that started it all, but the momager is savvy enough to know that things needed to change if KUWTK was to survive. Of course, West has a little bit of an ego on him, so it should come as no surprise that he’s using his new power to build his own brand, as well: “He is using the show as a platform for his projects,” says the source. It affects your social life You start to see friends less, because you simply aren’t on their schedule. They’re having happy hour drinks at 5pm, but you just started work at noon, so you’ll be working until 8pm or 9pm. You also can’t join them for a morning workout class because you’ll still be asleep. But missing out on friendship can lead to depression—we are social creatures after all. 2. Your days feel shorter Though you may be awake for the same amount of time, you aren’t experiencing as many daylight hours. The day naturally feels shorter. You feel rushed. You spend less time with your partner You spend less time with your romantic partner because he’s on a regular sleep schedule. So, when he wants to have dinner together, you’re in the middle of your workday. You never go to sleep or wake up together, either. You share a bed, but you barely spend time together in bed. 6. You make poor food decisions In addition to eating alone because of your new eating schedule, you also eat less healthfully. It’s funny how being awake late at night, when nobody else is, has a way of convincing us that half a pizza at 1am doesn’t count. But it does. 7. You may get headaches Adjusting your sleep schedule can lead to headaches. According to TMZ , sources claim the Grammy nominated rapper was at his store picking out clothes for a friend who had been incarcerated for the past 20 years. Apparently, the friend was one of the two other people who were also shot at the store along with the rapper. While there have been questions as to why Nipsey was at his store without security, TMZ reported that sources close to the rapper said the shopping trip for his pal was a “spur of the moment” thing and that his team had no clue he had even left his house. As we previously reported , Hussle, whose real name Ermias Asghedom, was pronounced dead at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday (March 31), after being shot six times in the head and chest in front of his clothing company, the Marathon Store. LAPD announced on Tuesday that they caught Eric Holder , the suspect believed to be responsible for the 33-year-old’s murder. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed that the 29-year-old was caught by deputies sometime before 1:30 p.m. While Holder has been linked to a local gang, police believe that the deadly encounter was personal. TMZ wrote that it may have started because Nipsey shunned Holder, who wanted to have a conversation with the rapper. Prior to Nipsey’s death, the Grammy-nominated rapper Hussle had been a staple in his Crenshaw community, buying up store fronts to revitalize the area and provide a much-needed economic boost in the area. He was also known to help promote STEM among young Black girls, help the homeless and others in the neighborhood. In addition, on Wednesday Nipsey’s security guard J-Roc took to social media to announce that he is retiring from the business. In an emotional Instagram post, Roc wrote, “Never in a million years I thought I would be writing some s–t like this … we haven’t made a 100 Million yet … we was suppose to grow old and I call u big nose shoot jokes on you all day… but instead I’m here in tears writing this I wish I was there I would switch places with you any day the world need you here I’m so confused, lost , hurt.” He added, ” I lost a brother, best friend, a mentor all I can here [sic] you saying now is If it was me, I would tell you, ‘N—a, live your life and grow.’ I’d tell you, ‘Finish what we started, reach them heights, you know?’” J-Roc also promised to look after Lauren London and the rapper’s two children. “I got the Babies and L forever I’m done with all this S–t I retire from being a bodyguard I love you HUSSLE THA GREAT,” he wrote. Lauren London is devastated. She’s in shock and mourning and nearly in denial about what happened to Nipsey Hussle . But not completely. The actress has accepted that her boyfriend of five years is dead. She just can’t believe it. “I am completely lost,” London wrote on her Instagram page late yesterday, adding: “I’ve lost my best friend. My sanctuary. My protector. My soul…. I’m lost without you. We are lost without you babe. I have no words.” The 34-year old actress, who has starred on such shows as The Game and Games People Play, included a sweet image of Hussle throwing the couple’s two-year-old son Kross in the air. She also posted a selfie of Hussle and Kross on her social media page, marking the first time London has shared a photo of their baby son’s face. (London is also mother to son Cameron Carter with rapper Lil Wayne; while Hussle was a dad to daughter Emani Asghedom from a previous relationship.) London’s tribute tp Hussle went viral just hours after a suspect was arrested in the Bellflower neighborhood of Los Angeles for the star’s murder. Police have identified 29-year-old Eric Holder as the suspected gunman; he was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon and is believed to have walked up to Hussle on Sunday and shot him multiple times. According to the autospy report, the rapper died from gunshot wounds to his head and torso. Holder allegedly then ran off to a waiting vehicle, as the homicide was premediated and, per TMZ sources, likely gang-related. Two other men were also shot outside of Hussle’s Marathon Clothing Company, although they survived their injuries. The Grammy-nominated artist and London have been together since 2013 at the time of this horrible incident, which has affected celebrities from across various platforms. After recording a historic 20-20-20 triple double in his basketball game last night, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook said the performance was “for Nipsey.” Many others have also expressed shock and sorrow over this senseless murder . Yes, Hussle grew up with ties to the Bloods, but he also worked with members of the Crips and he had dedicated his life to trying to find peace in the violent area in which he was raised. At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Los Angeles Police Chief Michel R. Moore said a personal dispute between Holder and Hussle may have been to blame for this shooting, alleging that Holder showed up in front of Hussle’s clothing store numerous tiple times before killing him. Said the officer: “Mr. Holder walked up on multiple occasions and engaged in a conversation with Nipsey and the others that were there. He left and subsequently came back armed with a handgun and purposefully and repeatedly fired, striking and killing Nipsey Hussle.” At the time of his death, Hussle was in the middle of redeveloping a strip mall, where his boutique is located, and also owned a barbershop, a burger restaurant and a fish market. His other charitable community acts included buying shoes for students, refreshing local basketball courts and playgrounds, paying for funerals for people who could not afford them and providing jobs for the homeless. TMZ actually reports that he was only at his store on Sunday to assist a friend who had recently been released from prison. Insiders tell this celebrity gossip site that Nipsey was providing this friend with some new clothing so he could look respectable upon meeting up with loved ones later that day. It was a spontaneous decision, hence why no members of the rapper’s security team were around. “He was a solid man who loved his woman, his family and his community,” fellow California native and Insecure star Issa Rae tweeted on Sunday. “This hurts.” Such a tragic loss.
