So… how did she do? Following several days of controversy over her decision to sing the national anthem prior to the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams, Gladys Knight stood around midfield and belted out the country's theme song. She was dressed in all-white and a trio of jets buzzed over the stadium during her final note, while the crowd in Atlanta gave Knight a rousing ovation. But was it deserved? Did Knight do enough to silence the critics who thought she shouldn't have agreed to the performance in the first place? These folks believed Knight should have turned down the offer due to the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick, a topic she addressed late last week. “I am proud to use my voice to unite and represent our country in my hometown of Atlanta. “The NFL recently announced their new social justice platform Inspire Change, and I am honored to be a part of its inaugural year.” On the Today Show on January 31, she added: “I can only say how much I feel … about the country itself and my family, and like I said, those family members of mine that are risking their lives and their futures … to make this a better world, not just a country. “So I felt like I could do my part.” After agreeing intially, Knight – known as the Empress of Soul -also reflected on the honor in an NFL video released at the time. She said the following: “I hope that this anthem will touch people in a different way. We’ve been singing it forever, but this time I would hope that [people] will feel it so deeply that it will lift them to a higher place. That’s what I feel when I sing this song. “This is who we are, this is how we are and this is what we do. Get ready, Atlanta. I’m coming home!” So, that's the background to the performance. Source: Theo Wargo / Getty Kylie Jenner Teases Baby Number 2 With Travis Scott It’s clear just how much Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott love their adorable baby girl Stormi. The little one just celebrated her first birthday and both parents were absolutely gushing over just how obsessed they are with their bundle of joy via Instagram pictures and long caption tributes. With how much these two stars seem to love being parents, it’s really no surprise the couple might already be thinking about having another baby already. Kylie posted a picture with her baby daddy on Saturday night, only hours before his performance at the Super Bowl halftime show is set to go down. The two are cuddle up on a staircase looking happy as ever, and to make matters even more lovey-dovey, the makeup mogul captioned the photo, “baby #2?” Almost immediately after Kylie posted the photo along with the cheeky caption, she responded to a comment asking if she was pregnant clarifying, “no, lol”–but that doesn’t necessarily mean the couple isn’t trying. Beside the obvious explanation that the “baby #2” caption could mean Jenner and Scott are in the mood for another one, Ky could also just be poking fun at the constant questions she gets about having another baby after only a year since Stormi’s birth. Just a couple weeks ago when Kylie announced she had something exciting to share with the world on Twitter, she got a boatload of questions about whether or not she was referring to being pregnant again. Noooo lol https://t.co/4TzxrU6eUk — Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) January 21, 2019 With how much Travis and Kylie love being parents, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another little rager pop up from them sometime in the future–but it looks like the bun isn’t in the oven quite yet.

Source: Mindy Small / Getty Bow Wow Is Back With His Ex-GF Kiyomi It’s been a few months since Kiyomi told us that she and Shad Moss called it quits…but now they seem to be back together. Bow Wow and Kiyomi were spotted out and about in Atlanta yesterday, enjoying Super Bowl freebies. The couples stopped by a designer pop up to grab a gift bag full of clothing. Both Shad and Kiyomi took photos with the owner of the shop, posting it to social media. This is a sign that things are probably going well again for the couple, who sought therapy when their relationship was on the fritz. Previously, Kiyomi said she’s been concentrating on getting her music out to the world, and soaking up modeling opportunities. Seems pretty predictable that these two slid back, after cooling down for a bit. Are YOU here for it?

It’s been a rollercoaster week for old Beantown Bennie, aka Ben Affleck, aka the Artist Formerly Known as Batfleck. On the plus side, Tahmmy Touchdown and the rest fackin’ Pats are likely to cruise to yet another Super Bowl victory on Sunday, thus prompting yet another duck boat parade at which the line between celebration and relapse is sure to become blurred to the point of invisibility. But sadly, Ben’s Sam Adams-fueled mirth is sure to be tinged with sorrow, as just like a young Bruce Wayne, Affleck has unexpectedly lost that which means the most to him and must now brood and vape for the rest of his days. Warner Bros. announced this week that it’s scheduled the release of the next installment in its Batman franchise for June of 2021. And it looks as though the project will not feature Ben as the Caped Crusader. Affleck essentially confirmed the news on Wednesday when he retweeted an article reporting that the project would go forward with director Matt Reeves, but without Ben. That means that despite being cast as Batman way back in 2013, Affleck will exit the role without ever having starred in a film in which he received sole top billing. Ben donned the cape and cowl for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad , and Justice League , all of which were ensemble efforts — and none of which were particularly well-received by critics. The news of Affleck leaving the role comes as both a surprise and a disappointment to many fans of superhero films. While the initial decision to cast Ben as Bruce Wayne was met with widespread skepticism, many applauded Affleck’s plan to direct himself in a standalone Batman film . The sheer, Welles-rivaling ambition of the project was enough to elicit optimism, and many were eager to see the Oscar winner’s take on one of Hollywood’s most iconic characters. It’s still unclear exactly when and why those plans went off the rails, but it’s believed that Affleck’s tumultuous personal life played a role. Multiple rehab stints, a highly-publicized divorce from Jennifer Garner , and allegations of inappropriate behavior left the public with an image of Ben as a guy who fights rumors, not crime. Affleck’s decision to step away from DC’s ambitious cinematic universe seems to have come in stages. In 2017, Affleck announced that he would not be directing his own Batman film, revealing in a statement that he felt doing so would compromise his acting ability. “It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require,” he said at the time. The decision to resign from the role completely seems to have come about during Affleck’s most recent stint in rehab , and many believe it was prompted by his desire to focus on recovery. We crack the occasional joke at Ben’s expense here, but he’s an immense talent, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors, both personal and professional. That said, we hope his Pats get steamrolled by the Rams on Sunday. Hey, Ben lives in LA now, it’s a win-win for the guy. View Slideshow: Shauna Sexton: Get to Know the Playmate Banging Ben Affleck!
