Lindsay Lohan either fancies herself on par with these celebrities, or really hates her dad, or a combination of both, because she’s gonna ditch the “Lohan.” “Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay,” her mom Dina Lohan tells PopEater , and that’s not all. “Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan.” NO, LOHAN, JUST LINDSAY : Felon would also work … Lindsay had been thinking about dropping her surname for some time, Dina says, but at first thought that no one would recognize who “Lindsay” was. It was only after the infamous Super Bowl E-trade ad referring to a baby as “that milkaholic Lindsay,” that the actress knew she no longer needed it. Ironically, she bitched, moaned and even sued over that, but whatever. “So many of the top people in showbiz are known by one name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list,” a family friend said. More importantly, “It’s a way for them all to just start over. The Black Eyed Peas Just Can’t Get Enough

“This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan.” That’s how Will.I.am introduced his group’s rendition of “Just Can’t Get Enough” last night, as The Black Eyed Peas followed Lee DeWyze and performed on the American Idol results show. Toned down a bit from their Super Bowl spectacle, the single featured Will.I.am on the piano and Fergie in a white dress with St. Patrick’s Day-themed nail polish. A nice touch. Christina Aguilera To Be Judge On ‘The Voice’

By Aly Semigran Christina Aguilera Photo: Pascal Le Segretain/ Getty Images Just one day after her arrest on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication , Christina Aguilera is making headlines again, only this time for more favorable reasons. The singer has officially signed on to be a celebrity judge for NBC’s upcoming talent competition “The Voice.” Billboard reported on Wednesday (March 2) that the Grammy winner will join host Carson Daly and fellow judges Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine on the “American Idol”-style program. “I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it. To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms,” Aguilera said in a statement. “I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to ‘The Voice’.” Aguilera has suffered a series of personal and professional setbacks recently. Aside from Tuesday’s arrest, the 30-year-old is in the midst of a very public divorce from husband Jordan Bratman. Last month, the pop singer tripped on the Grammy stage following an all-star tribute to Aretha Franklin, and that was just days after she flubbed the words to the national anthem during the Super Bowl . So word of her signing on to “The Voice,” which premieres on April 26 on NBC, is probably welcome good news for Aguilera. Series creator and go-to reality producer Mark Burnett (“Survivor,” “The Apprentice”) said he always had his sights set on the “Burlesque” star. “When I decided to produce ‘The Voice,’ I immediately knew that my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera,” Burnett said in the statement, adding, “Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler: Arrested for Public Intoxication, DUI

In what can be deemed as an incident any celebrity gossip follower could have easily seen coming, Christina Aguilera was arrested early this morning for public intoxication. According to TMZ, the singer was booked around 3 a.m. at the West Hollywood police station for the misdemeanor offense, while boyfriend Matt Rutler was also processed on charges of drunk driving. His bail was set at $30,000. It’s been a troubling few months for Aguilera, as friends have been concerned over her downward spiral since her divorce from Jordan Bratman. Aside from her memorably embarrassing national anthem mishap at the Super Bowl , Christina has most recently been accused of having sex with Rutler during a family gathering . Cops reportedly pulled Rutler over this morning after they noticed him driving erratically. Sources say Aguilera acted “extremely intoxicated” and was “unable to take care of herself.”

Singer arrested when boyfriend was pulled over on suspicion of DUI. By Gil Kaufman Christina Aguilera Photo: Jordan Strauss/ Getty Images Christina Aguilera’s public woes continued early Tuesday morning (March 1), when the singer was arrested in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication after police pulled over her boyfriend on suspicion of driving under the influence. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department confirmed that officers observed Aguilera’s 25-year-old boyfriend Matthew Rutler driving in a manner that made them believe he was under the influence at around 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Aguilera was a passenger in the vehicle, and sheriff’s department spokesperson Nicole Nishida said that the 30-year-old singer was “so intoxicated she couldn’t take care of herself” and was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of public drunkenness. Aguilera was booked into the West Hollywood sheriff’s station and released on $250 bail. A spokesperson for the singer could not be reached for comment at press time. An arrest report stated that Rutler was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of driving under the influence at the West Hollywood station just before 3 a.m., with bail set at $30,000. It was not known at press time if Rutler had been released on bail. An anonymous source told TMZ that if “the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble.” Another unnamed source allegedly close to the singer told the site that her confidants have been trying to get the performer into a rehab facility for several weeks. Aguilera’s personal life and career have been on a slide over the past year, beginning with the flop of her Bionic album, which has sold only 250,000 copies in the U.S. to date. That was followed by a hastily canceled U.S. tour , the disappointing returns for her big-screen debut in “Burlesque” and her divorce from husband Jordan Bratman . Those incidents were followed by her infamous flubbing of the national anthem at February’s Super Bowl and a stumble on the Grammys stage a week later, amid tabloid reports that her partying had gotten out of hand.
