Note to MMA fighters (and everyone about to throw down in any situation): Only taunt your adversary if you’re ready for the kick to the face you might provoke. While Shai Lindsey certainly livened up his MMA bout with Carlo Juinio in the Tuff ‘n’ Uff amateur arena Sunday, he proved that showboating is a double-edged sword. After raising his arms in a “Come at me, bro,” gesture of sorts, Juinio did as he requested, LEVELING Lindsey with an abrupt kick to the face , ending the match. Fortunately, he suffered only a massive hemorrhage to his ego.

Chris O’Dowd and Dawn Porter: Married!

Chris O’Dowd tied the knot with English TV presenter Dawn Porter last month. The Irish actor and his bride documented the very happy occasion via Twitter. According to Porter, the wedding “was a three-day love fest. Sure, I have an amazing husband, but I also have the most smashing pals imaginable.” Here’s a cute pic of the newlyweds: O’Dowd, whose Bridesmaids quotes and Girls quotes are memorable, called the day unforgettable, sharing the above image of the duo in matching sweatsuits. “Thanks so much for all yer WedFest well wishes,” the 32-year-old added. “It was magical, start to finish. And hey, who needs a liver? I’ve got a sexy wife.” Congratulations to the happy couple!

An emotional Andy Roddick cried Wednesday as he said goodbye to his fans following his final match, a loss to Juan Martin del Potro at the 2012 U.S. Open. “Wow. For the first time in my career, I’m not sure what to say,” the teary-eyed, always candid 30-year-old former World No. 1 said. “Where do I start?” “Since I was a kid, I’ve been coming to this tournament. I felt lucky just to sit where all of you are sitting today, to watch this game and to see the champions who have come and gone and I’ve loved every minute of it.”

Teresa Giudice would like to thank her fans for their recent show of support. And THG would like to ask: Who are Teresa Giudice’s fans?!? The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member continues to be embroiled in a feud with Caroline Manzo – which stems from Teresa comparing Caroline’s Italian authenticity to that of the Olive Garden in her cookbook – and, in the wake of Manzo once again lashing out , has taken to Twitter to write: “Thanks for watching the show everyone. Thanks again for the support.” Giudice has referred to Caroline as a “very angry person” and WENT OFF on her during the last episode, slamming Manzo as “a f–king c–nt [who] can go f–k herself.” You can fill in those blanks. Fred Willard to Avoid Prosecution, Get Off in Adult Movie Theater Case

Fred Willard is expected to get off easy in his lewd conduct case. Okay, wrong choice of words. The veteran actor, who was arrested this week for an incident inside a Hollywood theater that allegedly involved his pants being down , can avoid prosecution if he signs up for a $380 “pre-filing diversion class,” The Los Angeles Time s reports. This is a program that teaches one about responsibility and decision-making. Willard has referred to the arrest as a “a big misunderstanding” and he’s already been fired from his job at PBS. But at least it looks like the funny man won’t get into any real trouble with the law and at least he has the support of his friends. Tweeted Albert Brooks a couple days ago: “I love Fred Willard. He’s a great guy. For his birthday I’m getting him a den and a computer.”
