According to a post the blogging site made on Monday, all adult content will be banned from the site. This includes “images, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples” and anything that “depicts sex acts.” Still with us? Still breathing? Cool. There’s more. Some nudity will still be allowed on the site, such as certain types of artistic, education, newsworthy, or political content. “Illustrations and art that feature nudity are still okay — so long as sex acts aren’t depicted — and so are breastfeeding and after-birth photos,” according to Tumblr. The new guidelines also won’t ban text, so if you go to Tumblr for your latest erotica readings, all is well! However, if you’re there for anything else…it’s a wrap. Tumblr will send out an email notice to members whose content has been flagged as adult. People who get the flags will have their content reverted to a private setting that’s only viewable by them. Tumblr made the changes days after they were removed from Apple’s iOS App Store when child pornography was found on the site. “We’re committed to helping build a safe online environment for all users, and we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to media featuring child sexual exploitation and abuse,” Tumblr said in a statement. “Every image uploaded to Tumblr is scanned against an industry database of known child sexual abuse material, and images that are detected never reach the platform. A routine audit discovered content on our platform that had not yet been included in the industry database. We immediately removed this content.” Now, days after the incident, Tumblr doesn’t want people to conflate their new policy changes with the child pornography incident. However, they’re adamant about moving the site in a new direction. “As Tumblr continues to grow and evolve, and our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets,” they said in their Monday post. “We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves.” They even threw a little shade at the end of their blog post basically saying, “calm down ya, there’s still Pornhub.” “There are no shortage of sites on the Internet that feature adult content,” they wrote. “We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.” Cute. But the Internet was not having it. Many people agreed that porn and adult content was the reason people went on Tumblr in the first place. Taking that from the site could be the end. A Bronx woman passed away this week after complications from a wound caused by her boyfriend in previous days turned fatal. According to the NY Daily News , Dayanara Carela, 44, had her foot hacked with a sword by a deranged boyfriend. Police arrive her apartment in the Bronx atabout 9 p.m. on November 3 on a report that she had been assaulted. Her live-in boyfriend, Gilbert Nunez, had attacked with the sword in a jealous rage. Medics took from her to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition with severe gash to her left foot. She was treated there for an unknown period of time and released. Nunez, 43, was arrested Nov. 5 on felony assault charges for the alleged attack. Carela refused to cooperate with prosecutors and so he was released on his own recognizance on November 9th, and resumed her relationship with Nunez. On Nov. 18, Nunez called 911 to report that Carela was in medical distress. Medics took her to Montefiore Medical Center where she died the same day. Her death was later deemed a homicide related to the original wound. The city Medical Examiner concluded she died from blood clots that formed as a result of the attack — technically, “a bilateral pulmonary embolism due to deep vein thrombosis due to lower extremity complicating chop wound of left foot.” Nunez could face upgraded charges in the wake of Carela’s death. He is due back in court Dec. 17. SMH, so sad!!

New year. New set of single people who have somehow agreed to exchange vows with someone to whom they were introduced mere months prior. Indeed, Married at First Sight Season 8 premieres on January 1 at 10/9pm on Lifetime and the network has released promotional photos of all four couples at the center of this controversial reality series. Which will defy the odds and remain together, despite the unusual way in which they met? And which will go the way of this Season 7 couple and file for divorce shortly after filming ends? We don’t know yet. But we do know a little bit about each pairing. Let’s get to know them a bit better, shall we? Let’s start with Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff : McGriff, is 29 years old and was was raised in a traditional household with very traditional gender roles. Takeoff’s Eyes On Tuesday, James Corden gave the world something we didn’t know we need when he invited Migos to do carpool karaoke with him. It was near perfect. Though Migos’ interpretation of pop songs was quite hysterical, the biggest highlight of the trip was Takeoff’s ever-telling eyes. Lauren Comeau has spoken out for the first time since before a mother… … for, well, the first time. As previously reported, Comeau gave birth to a child alongside Javi Marroquin just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, welcoming a precious boy about two weeks prior to her due date. The newborn does not have a name, but it’s very clear he does have two very loving parents. “It’s been amazing,” Marroquin told Radar Online about becoming a father once again. Radar included a snapshot of the parents and their child , as Javi continued: “I even shed some tears. For those that don’t know, I’m not an emotional person anymore at all and just seeing my son come out really had me in my feelings.” Comeau was due on December 1. But she explained to Radar that she had to be induced several days beforehand, not expounding on the reason why. “It’s been incredible,” she told the site, though, adding: “Being induced definitely threw us for a spin. I was nervous about having to start from zero at the hospital, but we had a really great experience.” We assume she means having to start at zero centimeters dilation upon the induction. You don’t want to hear about technical medical details, we know. You want to know the name of Javi and Lauren’s baby, right? The thing is… so do they! Marroquin told Radar very shortly after the baby was born that he and his girlfriend have not yet picked one out. “His first overnight was amazing,” Lauren added in her post-birth interview. “We all three slept in between nurse visits. He’s latching great. He’s a happy, healthy boy!” Marroquin, as you likely know, appeared on multiple episodes of Teen Mom 2 back when he was married to Kailyn Lowry . They divorced after four years of marriage, but have kept in close touch because they share a five-year old son named Lincoln. In response to Javi becoming a dad again, Lowry wrote “congrats” on Twitter and linked to a story about the exciting development.
