In the past dozen years on ABC, which just made us feel really old writing that, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have aired some crazy eliminations. There are certainly enough opportunities, considering the setup. After all, we’re going on 30 seasons of the two shows combined, and 24 people (or even more in recent years) get booted for every final rose recipient winner! Here’s a look at 25 of the most shocking through the years … The Bachelor & Bachelorette: 25 Most Stunning Exits 1. DeAnna Pappas AND Jenni Croft View Photo The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected! 2. Jason Mesnick View Photo DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks. 3. Melissa Rycroft View Photo Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! Reid Rosenthal View Photo Reid Rosenthal left The Bachelorette during the final three, then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart … only by then she had chosen Ed Swiderski. Yes, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will both star as The Bachelorette this summer, but for one of the two beauties, it will be a short stint in the spotlight. “I don’t really even know where to start with this one,” Chris Soules, The Bachelor himself, writes in his weekly blog discussing last night’s episode. That sums it up perfectly right there. He doesn’t even have to go on. He does, of course, delve into the drama-filled installment, which was jam-packed with awkward moments not even The Bachelor spoilers saw coming … “I had no clue what was happening with Kelsey when she was having her ‘episode,'” Chris Soules writes of The Bachelor Season 19 Episode 6 . “It wasn’t until someone told me that Kelsey was asking for me that I had any inkling something was going on. When I saw her sitting on the floor, I was so worried.” “I felt terrible that something I said had made her panic. I didn’t realize that telling the other girls about our chat would have that kind of effect on her.” “The only reason I said anything was because I was feeling emotional, and I felt it was only fair for them to know where my head was,” Chris adds. “I also didn’t cancel the party just because of that.” “I canceled the party because I knew who I was going to say goodbye to, and not only did I not want to waste anyone’s time, but I also just couldn’t pretend.” “I couldn’t look those women in the face at the cocktail party and act like I was still making up my mind. There’s been a lot said about Kelsey this week.” “I know a lot of you are questioning why I kept her around. What you have to understand is, to me Kelsey seemed like a kind, sweet person with a very sad past.” “I didn’t feel like I was being manipulated to feel sorry for her, and I was glad when she opened up … I will admit, though, that her fainting spell did feel a little off.” “It’s hard to explain, but the timing did seem strange,” he concedes. “However, that wasn’t enough of a reason for me to say goodbye to her that night.” As for the two-on-one date from hell that followed? “I was not particularly excited for it. In fact, I dreaded it. But it’s just part of this whole deal. Do you know how long two hours is when you’re stuck in a hot chopper with two women who really really, really don’t like each other?” “I spent the majority of the time not looking at, or touching, either of the girls in order to ensure the safety of all who were aboard this steamy chopper full of hate.” “I know most every man in America thinks he would love to be the Bachelor. Her responses seemed almost calculated.” “Now, with regard to Ashley, getting to spend more time with her that day answered the questions I had about our future,” Soules says of cutting her loose. “I want to reiterate that it had NOTHING to do with her telling me about Kelsey, but I feel she was just not ready for the kind of commitment I’m ready for.” “I just couldn’t imagine her being happy in my world. When she threw out Britt ‘s name and asked if I thought she was ready for [the farm], that completely caught me off guard.” “It definitely planted seeds that came back to haunt me the next week.” In any case, he reiterates, “I didn’t end things with Kelsey because of what Ashley told me. It certainly reinforced what I was already feeling, but I had mixed emotions.” “All I can say is, even though that day was extremely hard, the helicopter ride home was much less uncomfortable than the one on the way there.” “Next week, things get even more intense – if that’s even possible.” We don’t know that it is … but this is The Bachelor. Bill Cosby Denies Chloe Goins Assault, Says He Wasn’t Even at Playboy Mansion That Night

Bill Cosby’s lawyer says he did not abuse Chloe Goins and wasn’t even at the Playboy Mansion the night she claims he drugged and sexually abused her. Flight and phone records show Cosby was in N.Y.C., not L.A., the night Chloe Goins claims he took advantage of her, attorney Martin Singer wrote in a statement. “We will be providing documentary evidence to the authorities which conclusively establishes Mr. Cosby’s whereabouts on August 9th,” he wrote. One of more than two dozen women to accuse the comedian of such behavior, Goins, 24, has filed a report seeking criminal charges against Cosby. Goins says she blacked out after having a drink given to her by Cosby during the Midsummer Night’s Party in August 2008, waking up naked in a bedroom. Singer says Cosby was in New York for the preceding and following days as well, proving Goins’ claim that he drugged her and licked her toes bogus. “If Mr. Singer has evidence tell him he can let us see it rather than him just talk about it,” Goins’ lawyer, Spencer Kuvin told the N.Y. Daily News Saturday. “The LAPD will determine whether his evidence is accurate,” he added. “In the meantime I appreciate Mr. Singer admitting that Mr. Cosby has apparently kept his records dating back to 2008. We would like to see them as well.” Most of the alleged Cosby incidents are decades old and outside of the statute of limitations, but Goins is one of the few alleging semi-recent sexual abuse. Cosby, 77, has not been charged with a crime in any of the cases. He’s taking Goins’ claim seriously, however, reportedly asking Hugh Hefner for dirt on Goins or any video that may disprove what she says took place. Bill Cosby Memes Gone Horribly Awry 1. Celebrity gossip purveyors and fans alike saw the now-infamous photo of Farrah Abraham’s botched lip injections on Instagram and recoiled in abject horror. Lisa Rinna was no exception. In fact, she feels responsible. “I apologize for starting this s–t 26 years ago, please forgive me,” Rinna captioned a photo of the terrifying damage done to Abraham’s face in the operation. Is there a way the operation can be fixed? We hope so. Still, the lesson has been learned, albeit the hard way. “Girlfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya! #BOTCHED California #ER #fixit,” the Teen Mom star said earlier this month, and Rinna is taking this to heart. Having also recently said that Kylie Jenner got lip injections – at least “that’s my feeling – I could be absolutely wrong, but I think so” – Lisa is apologetic. Had it not been for her, this would not be a trend. Or so she claims. A quarter century ago, ” I had my lips injected with silicone … stupid thing to do at 24. I did it with my best girlfriend, so she and I go and we get our lips done.” “Fine. Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo: It’s Over!

A red flag has been thrown on the relationship between Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo. The 29-year old model and the 29-year old soccer stud (who just won the title of World Player of the Year) have ended their relationship after five years. It’s unclear why the twosome have split, but a rep for Shayk has issued a statement that serves to quell negative press against his client. Shayk “has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship,” he says, adding that “any negative rumors with regards to Irina and the Ronaldo family are completely false and have not been a factor in the cause of the spilt.” We wish both Irina and Cristiano the best of luck going forward; and we also wish all the single men and women out there who now think that have a chance with Shayk and Ronaldo the best of luck. Vail Bloom: Who is Vanderpump Rules New SURver?

If you caught Season 3 Episode 7 of Vanderpump Rules last night, then you know that the SUR staff welcomed a new member to its STD-riddled ranks. 32-year-old Boston native Vail Bloom interviewed with Lisa V. for a hostess job (and a regular spot on the hit Bravo series), but quickly revealed herself to be far more than just your typical SUR girl. Not only is Vail a Princeton grad and a recovering addict, she’s also a former soap star who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her work on The Young and the Restless. Bloom has also appeared on the HBO series Entourage and Hello Ladies, and she took the number three spot in one of Maxim magazine’s annual Hometown Hotties contests. Needless to say, she’s doing a bit better than the average SUR staffer, and considerably better than other season three newcomer, James Kennedy . (Dude’s a busser and he dates Kristen. Need we say more?) Naturally, Vail’s impressive resume begs the question: what the hell is she doing hostessing at SUR?! Well, for one thing, Vail describes herself as a “struggling actress” (not all soap gigs bring huge paychecks) and though she hasn’t gone into detail regarding her struggles with addiction, she did clarify that she was hooked on “harder stuff” than alcohol. And, of course, she was late for her second day on the job, so gigs where other people don’t apply your makeup and explain your “motivation” might not be Vail’s strong suit. But obviously, the real reason Vail took a job at a West Hollywood eatery is because SUR=exposure, and – if you stick around long enough – it can mean some serious cash. The Vanderpump Rules cast just got a huge raise (after two seasons of working for peanuts), and we imagine a recurring role on a high-rated TV show (even a reality show) can’t be bad for Vail’s public profile.
